Hey there,
I am looking forward to using this theme, but before I purchase I would like to know – Does this theme function well within Wordpress Multisite?
Let me know – thank you!
Hi, yes it’s compatible with WP multisite.
Best regards
Greetings. My site loads really slow. Do you have any recommendations or advice on how to analyze the problem? My address. www.3dpromotions.com
Hi, your site is loading in less than a second for me. Maybe the problem is the routing between your ISP and the web server.
Best regards
Hi, GREAT THEME! Thanks. Can you assist me with one issue please: Here (http://vanguard.unispheredesign.com) you have a superior header with e.g. e-mail and phone number at the very top of the page – can I edit this in the theme, I could not find it, thanks!
Hi, from your comment below I see that you’ve found a way of adding widgets to the superior-header.
Best regards
sorry, just found out – it´s the widgets!
Beautiful theme developed by an inspirational person and a brillant example to those who intend to be of service to their customers. João gave me a free and quick key support after I purchased the vanguard theme. Thanks again João! Ciré from Senegal.
Thanks Ciré for your awesome testimonial, really appreciate it
Cheers!
Hey there,
The “Upload” buttons in the Theme Options are not sized properly. I just wanted to know if this is normal for the theme or did something go wrong during the install? I installed via FTP.
Here is a screenshot of the skewed buttons: http://wel-donelandscaping.com/vanguard-theme-options.png
Hi, the “Upload” buttons need a styling fix for WP 3.5.1, expect an update this week that fixes this and other minor bugs.

sub-header-bar on posts – in settings I’ve set it to “don’t display” in the archives. Is there any way to set it to “don’t display” by default on new posts? I am setting up for my client and need to make posting as few steps as possible.
Hi, yes you can but it will affect posts, pages and portfolio items. If running version 1.3 of the theme you can edit the file /library/custom-fields.php and replace the following code on line 496:

Hello I really like this theme. It has great options. Question on the Home Page Example 5, is there a way to have 8 Portfolio categories instead of 3?
Thanks, Charlie
Hi, in the home example 5 it displays a 3 column portfolio with just 3 items. You can have a [portfolio] shortcode that displays the latest 8 most recent portfolio items in 4 columns.
Best regards
Hi, add the following code to the Custom CSS field in the theme options panel:

Hi There,
Is it possible to include a playlist with the sublime player on a portfolio page?
Hi, unfortunately that’s not possible I’m afraid.
Best regards
Olá, estou adorando a sua template mas percebi que na versão 1.3 os novos shortcodes como o “testimonials scroller” e o “logo scroller”não estão no menu “insert shortcode”
Olá, repondi ao sei tópico no forum

Hi Unisphere,
I just created a page in order to show my posts alongside a subscription widget in the sidebar on the right: http://www.yourbest.nl/?page_id=1893Is it correct that the theme only allows for 2 posts next to each other when using the sidebar, or is there a workaround to display 3 posts next to each other. There seems to be sufficient space for three posts.
Many thanks en congratulations on this great piece of work! Yvo
Hi, that bug got fixed in update 1.3. I see that you are running version 1.2 so I recommend updating to the latest version in order to the 3 posts to line up correctly.
Best regards
Hi again! I am trying to set up a portfolio page, but the page settings will not display any of the portfolio categories. It just says : ‘If this page uses a Portfolio page template, then set the categories to be displayed’ Can you please help me? Thx!
Hi, from your comment below I see that you’ve managed to get it working.
Best regards
Oops sorry, just woke up from my trance and found the solution… Thx!
Hi,
Related to my previous question:
Are there more ways of presenting posts on a page? At this moment posts are presented e.g. as a picture with its’ text underneath it and one post next to the other. Is it also possible to present posts e.g. as a picture with its’ text next to it and one post underneath the other?
Thanks! Best regards
Hi, I’m afraid not, that’s the current only way of displaying posts. I might add more options in the future though.

Hi,
I am trying to change the size of the youtube video.
This is what I have attempted.
[video type=”youtube” url=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1wPWv41aI0” width=”300” height=”169”/]
The video size doesn’t change. What am I doing wrong?
Also , I want to be able to change the size of the testimonial slider. What should I be doing to make this possible?
Ideally I will have – The Youtube video on the left of the screen and the testimonial slider (as a set size) on the right.
Hi, the [video] shortcode shouldn’t have a width and an height property since its width and height are proportionally sized to the container’s size. It’s like this in order to make it responsive and the testimonial scroller behaves exactly the same way.
Try adding the following code to your page and you’ll see 2 columns with the video on the left and testimonials on the right (filling the 100% width of the columns):

Hi,
I need help with two things:
1. I would like to get the ‘Read more’ buttons and the page number buttons to appear below each blog post in the half image option. As per your demo. How do I do this?
2. I only want a small snippet of content to appear under each blog image and title. So that viewers need to click ‘read more’ to find out more. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks for your help! The website is really coming along nicely – love the templates!!
Hi, you can use the WordPress “more” tag in order to break the posts into a summary and add the “read more” buttons, more info here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

Hey, i’m trying to change de logo position.
I took de skin.php and change:
/* The logo / #logo { margin-top: <?php echo ( !empty( $unisphere_options[‘skin_logo_top_margin’] ) ? $unisphere_options[‘skin_logo_top_margin’] : ‘50’ ); ?>px; }
to:
/ The logo */ #logo { margin-top: <?php echo ( !empty( $unisphere_options[‘skin_logo_top_margin’] ) ? $unisphere_options[‘skin_logo_top_margin’] : ‘22’ ); ?>px; }
But nothing changed. How can i change de margin of logo?
thanks. my facebook: www.facebook.com/designfer
Hi, you can set the logo top margin without changing the skin.php file (in fact, every change to the skin.php file requires you to go to the Skins Manager and hit the “Save Settings” button).
You can go to the “Skins Manager” and set the top logo margin in the “Header Positioning” tab.

Hi,
I would like the footer to be 1 column instead of 4 separate columns (i.e. I would like to have the customers widget scroller as the footer). Any chance you can help me out with this?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, sure it’s possible, add a text widget with the logo scroller to the first footer widget column and then add the following code to the Custom CSS field in the Theme Options panel:

I am about to purchase this theme. I need all the support I can get please. thank you. I look forward to using it. cheers
Hi, hope you enjoy the theme if you decide to purchase it
Best regards
Hello Joao, I did purchase the theme and I am just about to configure it – i have installed the theme but I want to upload XML file as seen in demo, how do I do this? And where can I get the step by step documentation needed to help in customizing the theme? I appreciate your quick response. thanks
Hi, thanks for purchasing, I hope you enjoy it
If you extract the zip you’ve downloaded from ThemeForest you’ll see a file labeled documentation.pdf which explains how to import the theme demo data. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Best regards
Hi, thanks for your response. that was my point first of call – i didnt see documentation.pdf in the folder. I just checked again, and its not there. thanks
Hi, that’s very strange, I just checked the zip file and the documentation.pdf file is there. Anyway, you can download it from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5063329/vanguard.pdf
Best regards
thanks Unisphere i got the documentation. Another issue I have now is that I have not been able to import the demo data. it says below
“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”
In addition, when I choose skin manager, I have this error – Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …wp-content/themes/vanguard/library/admin/options-interface.php on line 231
Hi, the first error message doesn’t provide any good info and since importing data is a WordPress functionality I think you should contact your hosting company and ask them about this.
Regarding the second error it appears your server isn’t able to connect to the remote file on my server which populates the Google font list. This can be solved without contacting the hosting company but I require access to your WP installation admin panel. Could you email me the credentials?
Best regards
thanks for the response. I will send the details. How do I diasble comments in pages, I already deleted the line comments..true in Page php file, but comments box is still showing. thanks
Hi, you can hide the comments box in a per page basis by editing a page and unchecking the “Allow Comments” option in the “Discussion” panel. If you don’t see this panel further down in the edit page screen click the “Screen options” tab at the top right and check the “Discussion” option to make it available.
Best regards
thanks again for your response. I will try that now and also send log in details soon.
