Vanilla Wordpress CMS Website Template

On the portfolio page. Is there a set number of things to be on that page. Let’s say I only want 20 things on the page, will it automatically create a second page when I have 21 things on there?

Hi there, i purchased the vanilla and I think the layout is great for my business but I am having trouble:

1. I am not able to insert my company logo 2. I am not able to change the background color 3. The get in touch section is missing from the sidebar.php page

I am having issues with the slider in IE7 . All of the images are showing up on the page all at once. Can you please help me solve this issue? Thanks

trostmovingpictures.com the slider only loads the top 1/8th of the pics a lot of the time. Any ideas? In firefox if I reload the page it works but in safari I have to navigate away then back and it works. Please help!

Got it working – saw the comment:

Great theme to play around with – however there’s a major issue with the slider images only displaying the top 20/40px of each featured home page image depending on the browser your in.

To resolve you have to go into the style.css and amend {.sliderImages li img} to read as follows:

.sliderImages li img

z-index:1; position:relative; height:249px; width:475px;

The height and width were previously not on here.

Hi Ram, First of all, thanks for such a wonderful theme. Its my fav and have used it on 2 sites already.

The feature list mentions drop-down menus, but I could not find more info about it. The Readme just talks about the basic menu and the order, but not about nesting items etc.

This may sound basic, but I can’t figure out how to attach an image to my Featured posts….so they will show up on the homepage slider? It says to Name it and put the link in a custom field, but the post is not giving me that option…help! Thanks, Sarah

I added a name and the image url into the Name and Value fields and the image is not showing up….I’m clueless what I’m doing wrong… Thanks

I am having a problem with pages. I created 7 pages and only one of my pages appeared on the menu. So I deleted the pages and remade them and now zero pages appear.

Hi, I cant get my featured image slider to work.

- I have changed the cache folder to 777 permissions - I have set the category as “Featured” on the post - I have added the custom field “image” with the image URL in it

But nothing appears. Can you help me out please? Really frustrating as its stopping the site being completed for a client at the moment.

how do i change the background of the content so that it is not sharing the same background as the whole site. I need the space between the top menu and the footer to be white.
