Sorry, but it’s possible to have only the wordpress version? Thanks
I don’t know if this an area you can support but I have a few questions about the portfolio section in the wordpress version.
First, on your vcard site using the template, your thumbnails are custom rather than small versions of the actual image. I would love to do the same thing on mine. Is that something I need to do in flickr or is this an adjustment I can do in the template? I’m savvy with HTML and CSS , so can make the necessary changes if you can point me in the right direction.
Second, I saw in one screenshot of the template that you had a hover overlay showing project details (Name, Date Created, link to the site, etc). Were you using a particular jquery or mootool to achieve that result and is it anything I can duplicate on my own (details would be great)?
Last, I would like to echo weings01’s request about figuring out how to link directly to the site being sampled (maybe using the above method).
Thanks for the great work and any advice you can provide!
Hey, I downloaded and am using the clean show hide version on my website. I edited and added to the about section. However, only part of the about page shows up. What do I need to do to get all of my about page info to show?
I love this theme. Is it possible to embed video? If so, which formats? I could use either HTML or Wordpress, but I prefer Wordpress. Thanks.
Ivor, I am back after 10 months and was very happy to see the new WP included!! I’ll be trying it out for the project I told you about.
@Jeffrey – Site Manager. Thanks! It will be part of only one WP install, on one site. Single license it is!
Gracias,
styzer
how can i change theme from hide/show to slider?
I bought the template (vcard professional portfolio) – Downloaded the zip file – but when I try to upload it to wordpress (install themes) it doesn’t work. What am I missing? Should I unzip the downloaded file and zip up only parts of it? Any help would be great.
Thanks, Carrie
ok – after much trial and error i have uploaded the site succesfully through my FTP . And now i get this error much like Collin in a previous post – however i don’t see the solution listed here
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_FlickrRSS() in /home/content/32/7663532/html/wp-content/themes/clean/vcard-hideshow/index.php on line 32
Hi, Ivor. I really like this design. I’ve recently purchased some hosting in anticipation of throwing a minicard-type website up and I’m considering purchasing your template for it. The problem is I have very limited HTML /Wordpress knowledge and even less experience. I’d like to find out some information to help me make a better decision.
1) Given my limitations, is this a template I’d struggle with trying to get up and running?
2) Are there PSD files of the graphics and guides/documentation/code remarks indicating where to make changes and how it affects the layout?
3) If this is viable option for me, which route is more of an out-of-box/turnkey solution, the HTML version or the Wordpress one?
Thanks for your time.
I can delete the “my work” correct? I just want the about me, social, and contact tabs. Is that possible with the WP edition? Just want to make sure before purchasing.
many many bugs to fixxed, compare with the price and time i have to spend fixing your product, it’s very very expensive.
