Hey Iman,

First of all, stellar work on this theme!

I’m about to pull the trigger on buying this theme, but I just wanted to make sure that the contact page is ready to go- where I just have to enter the e-mail address I want submissions to go to. I looked through your documentation but didn’t see anything about the contact form.

Hello Eric,

Thank you for your interest in Ventus. Actually there is a Contact Page template in Ventus which you can simply choose it as your contact page template and it should work fine.

The only thing is that I’ve configured a Contact Form 7 for this page which you will have it if you import demo content XML files into your WordPress.

By the way if you didn’t import the demo content, you can create this form just like in my demo by adding this code in your contact form 7:

<label>Your Name</label>[text* your-name]
<label>Your Email</label>[email* your-email] 
<label>Your Message</label>[textarea your-message 50x3]

About your problem, please edit your home page and change the Page Template to “Full Width Slider” and this should fix this issue. I’ve written an article in our forum which can help too. Please read this article:

Is there a way to remove the header bubble?

Thank you for purchasing Ventus! Yes, you can remove it by adding some custom CSS in your Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS:

.body-wrapper > .container > .row-fluid > .span12 > .head-bubble,
.body-wrapper > .container > .row-fluid > .span12 > .bubble-triangle { 
    display: none; 
}

Good day sir, great theme. Definitely will be rating 5/5 as it’s very well put together.

The reset settings is bugged for me, is there an easy way to delete the settings and everything of the theme to start everything for this theme from scratch without reinstalling wordpress.

Reset setting will actually remove settings as this is the default settings for OptionTree framework.

But if you want reset your theme options to its default, you can use Options Backup interface in your “Appearance > Options Backup”.

Please follow this article to reset your Theme Options to the theme default settings.

Great theme.

Question. Im trying to apply smooth scroll to my Custom Menu anchor tags. Usual plugin and jquery handcode is not working for me, and Im assuming because of the included niceScroll jquery. Im a jquery newbie… do you know how I can apply the smooth scroll used for your up arrow, to my custom menu anchors? Thanks.

Hi, I have issue with contact template page. When I put cordinates from google maps in option page it shows completly different location (near but different). What can I do with this problem?

I need to show 54° 30.874’, 18° 32.431’ and what I get i ~ 54° 18.613’, 18° 20.466’

I put it in this format: 54.308, 18.324. Do I make something wrong?

Actually what I usually do is to find my location on http://maps.google.com then right click on it and on the menu choose “What’s Here?”.

Once I do this, the correct lat and long will be appear in the google search bar and I’ll use it in the maps API.

Ventus creates dynamic styles in a file named dynamic.css which is placed in root directory of theme ( /wp-content/themes/ventus/dynamic.css ). You should configure your web sever to have write permission on this file. Usually 755 for directory and 644 for files are ok.

How can i do add new font?

Thank you for purchasing Ventus! I’m not sure if I’ve understand your meaning properly.

If you want to change your website font or typography, you can do this in “Appearance > Theme Options > Typography”.

But if you want to use another font for specific elements, you should do this by doing some custom CSS in your Theme Options (Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS). For example you can include another google font in your site by adding this code:

@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Wellfleet);

OR

@import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Signika+Negative:400,600,700);

Then add a custom CSS for the element you want by adding font-family: FontName; there.

But, If you want to add another font in the list of current fonts in typography options, please let me know the fonts that you need, and I’ll gladly add them in the Ventus.
