Hi, I love the theme though I wish there was a way to use LayerSlider instead of the other slider. I was wondering if there was a way to replace your icons/elements with my custom icons? I have done some digging myself but nothing seems to be working. (I would post this as a ticket but that does not seem to be working either..)
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! Ventus currently supports Revolution Slider, Flex Slider, Nivo Slider and Responive Slider in the slider area but LayerSlider is not supported yet.
If you open a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com , I would gladly help you to create a custom template into your theme and add LayerSlider support to it.
About changing my icons with yours, I’m not sure where do you want to replace them, if you mean in services shortcode (e.g. http://preview.themique.com/ventus/shortcodes/1584-2/ ), there is a quick hack which will let you do this by adding some custom CSS codes into your theme. Please open a ticket about this one too and I’ll guide you to do this as well.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, problems or suggestions.
For LayerSlider, I would recommend to first make a child theme by following this article:
Then I’ll help you with the customization. This way you will be able to upgrade your theme in the future without loosing your customized codes.
I want to buy this theme for a client, but would prefer to integrate our own back en system. Is there an option of just downloading the html and css files without the wordpress ingegration? Or is there a way of taking the wordpress part out?
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! Actually there is an HTML version of Ventus available on ThemeForest and you can find it here:
By the way, I’ve done some customization on the WordPress version and can’t say that HTML and WordPress versions are 100% similar but I can guarantee 90% similarity
About your question to change the current backend with yours, actually its a very difficult progress and I would recommend to purchase the HTML version and customize it to meet your needs…
Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments.
Hi, sorry but i cant join ur supportforum?! Login with twitter runs – but i can not open a support ticket…
My question -> Who can i add my Gmaps cordinates from Germany? I have 54.227893, 10.286613
+54° 13’ 40.41”, +10° 17’ 11.81”
But when i add “54.227893, 10.286613” to theme contact options- it dont work? What do i am wrong? (sorry for my bad english)
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! You should enter your purchase code if you want to open a ticket in the ticketing system. Please go to http://themique.ticksy.com and try to open a ticket and also provide your purchase code which you can find it here:
Anyway… I hope I can help you even without tickets.
What I usually do to set my location for google map is to find my location on http://maps.google.com then right click on it and on the menu choose “What’s Here?”.
Once I do this, the correct lat and long will be appear in the google search bar and I’ll use it in the maps API.
Please let me know if this helped or if you have any other questions, problems or suggestions.
And also if you are not able to send a ticket by following the above instructions, please feel free to contact me by sending your message here:
Hi, just a quick pre sale question… does the admin have a feature to turn the responsive elements off or is this easy enough to achieve.
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! Fortunately Ventus is a Responsive Theme but unfortunately ( in this case ), it’s not possible to disable its responsive feature in theme options.
Ventus is based on Bootstrap and I’m also using Visual Composer page builder which both of them are responsive. So if you wish to remove the responsive feature, you should work a few hours on it and remove the responsive codes from both of them manually…
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions, suggestions or comments.
Hello, I wonder if, 1- files for translating .Po/.Mo are included? 2- I would like to use two plugins wordpress seo/wp super cache, are supported? just to make sure, thanks.
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! Here are the answers:
Please let me know if you have any other questions, suggestions or comments.
Thanks, I’m buying now.
Hi, after installing demo content, logo stay centered, how to align the left? Thank you.
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! I’m not sure if this is your case or not but if you are using header with contact bar in your theme options, please check that you’ve added at least one social element in your theme options.
Please follow the instructions in this article:
Please let me know if this helped or if you had any other questions, problems or suggestions by submitting a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com.
Ok thanks, just one more question, I would like to take the “Services” button which php file this code? Thank you very much.
Do you mean that you want to remove the button element from “Services” shortcode?
If you want to do this, you don’t need to change any PHP files and you can do this easily with some custom CSS codes. Please go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS” and add this code there:
/* Remove Services Button */
and save your theme options. Once you do this, the buttons will be removed from the “Services” shortcode. Please let me know if this helped or if you had any other questions, problems or suggestions.
Thanks, perfect but, I have another problem, a dark background image on the slide (Revolution) makes my image with a margin, I’m using the 1920×400 image size and would like to have in the example. the image below shows the problem, thanks again, next time take a ticket.
Note: I’m using “auto-responsive” layout.
This should help you to fix your issue. Please let me know if it helped or if you had any other questions, problems or suggestions.
P.S. Thank you for deciding to send me tickets for further questions or suggestions This way I can help better and faster…
Thank you very much, everything working, I will give 5 stars for this wonderful theme.
Wow, I’m so glad that you like it And thank you very much for the stars. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you had any other questions, problems or suggestions.
Hi, I bought this theme and I love it! It´s nice. Easy, flexible, helpful and it saves time.
Thanks a lot for it. I recommend.
Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it and I’ll try to do my best to improve it more and deserve these great words
I´m satisfied with theme. But I got problem with Evanto Toolkit. I used API key including my login. I got error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_create_nonce() in /web/htdocs2/high_definitioncz/home/www/wp-content/plugins/envato-wordpress-toolkit/index.php on line 934. Do you know whats wrong? When I deactivate plugin website is running.
Thanks for your support.
Would you please open a private ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and give me permission on your WordPress to let me check this issue on your site?
I’ll check it as soon as I receive the ticket.
Wonderful theme! I will definitely use it for my next project.
However just a few suggestions (requests?) which would make it perfect to my eyes. Would it be possible to:
- Add a language switch bar
- And let the possibility to use the header like in the picture below for those who have a big website or aim/show multiple types of customers/sectors
- Add mansory blog
- Add the option to select the FF DIN WEB font for the entire theme, which would harmonise perfectly (this is more a personal suggestion)
- Add some UI features : form elements, wizard, buttons, modals, datepicker… for advanced form and layout creation
Many thanks for taking those ones in consideration for your next update.
I wish you the best and may the sales rain down!
Oh the picture hasn’t been integrated to my post! You can view it at this link: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/246114header.jpg
Thank you for your interest in Ventus!
Actually Masonry blog is in my upgrade plan and I’ll release it in the next updates for sure. I will also include a language switcher bar in the header. Ventus is currently WPML ready and you can use its own language switcher if you wish, but I think a custom designed language bar specially for Ventus will make it perfect Thank you for your great suggestions.
About header like the image which you’ve sent: This can be done by some quick customizations. You can put some links with that style there and you’ll have this on your site quickly. By the way if you want to have separate menu and content for each TAB, this will be a more complicated process and you should ask a developer to do this for you. I would recommend www.microlancer.com for this if you are not a developer yourself.
FF DIN WEB font: Ventus currently supports Google Webfonts. So if you want to use a webfont in Google directory, you can do this easily. I didn’t put all the 600+ fonts in the admin panel because this will only make the decision harder for the clients, but it’s easy to add your preferred fonts there and if you want other fonts that are not included in Ventus, you can tell me and I’ll help you to include it easily in your theme. But about this specific font ( I guess it’s not a Google Webfont ). If it’s a webfont, you can include it easily by CSS, and if it’s a normal font, you should convert it to .woff format then you can use it in your site easily with Custom CSS again.
And finally Form elements, wizard, buttons, modals, datepicker… for advanced form and layout creation: Forms and buttons are supported currently. But if you want to have more functionality on your forms, you should purchase a premium form plugin. I would recommend Gravity Forms or one the great form plugins which can be found here:
If you’ve bought a plugin and you see that it’s not showing well in Ventus, I’ll gladly help you to style it like Ventus
Thank you again for your great suggestions. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or suggestions.
Thanks a billion for your fast reply!
You are more than welcome
I forgot in my first message my last suggestion which is a mega dropdown menu inside the actual one (ie: http://wpmegamenu.com/). Very useful when a company offers multiple products or services.
Oh, I guess you’ve edited your comment but I didn’t notice it’s changed so I leaved it unanswered! Sorry for that…
I would gladly consider adding a mega menu feature in the next versions. I like them too and I think they are very useful when you have so many content. Let’s see what can I do for this…
I bought the theme. Wonderful design! Thanks for your product! Is there a possibility to disable the adaptability? I do not need a responsive website
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! Currently it’s not possible to disable responsive feature. This theme is based on bootstrap framework and also we are using Visual Composer page builder in it which both of them are fully responsive.
I will try to find a solution to add a new option in Ventus theme options to let you disable it in the next versions
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions, problems or suggestions.
I already rated Ventus a 5/5 and commented, but this theme deserves another post. I’ve been able to speak to Iman through the ticket system he’s using and I’ve had a pleasant experience every single time. I am a designer, not a coder (yet), but I can easily say that this theme is beautifully designed and easy to understand/use. I have purchased a bunch of themes, and this one is by far one of the best if not the best theme I’ve purchased. Lots of customization, great support, constantly being improved, and gorgeous design. You won’t regret purchasing this theme. Can’t wait for more themes from Iman!
Thank you very much for your great words! I really appreciate it and as I said to you in the tickets, I’m proud that I have fantastic clients like you who had purchased my item several times for different sites. I really enjoy visiting your Ventus powered sites
I hope I can keep the high quality to deserve these great words Thank you!
Please as always, feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions, problems or suggestions.
Awesome Design I Like it Good Luck With Sales !!!!
Glad you like it Thank you.
Great theme!! <3
Happy New Year and thank you very much keici
I was checking my emails and I’ve found out that the comment which is placed here is different from the other one that is emailed to me.
I just wanted to know if you’ve found out the answer of your questions… You know, I’m not sure if your comment is edited by yourself or if there is an issue in the commenting system…
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Does this theme include PSD files?
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! PSD version is not included in the downloadable package from ThemeForest because I didn’t want to make it a heavy file. But if you’ve purchased Ventus, please send a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com, and I’ll send you the download link of the PSD version.
Please note that the current WordPress version is a little different from the original PSD version because I’ve changed some of its styles to fit the clients need. You can see the preview of the PSD version that I can send to you here:
You are welcome
I would like to buy this awesome theme for our web site. We are a music company, having some hundreds of CD/DVD products, which we like to list in the web site, with the e-commerce feature, for physical and digital paid MP3/ZIP download. However, if the following things can be done (within this theme), I will proceed further.
—1. In the product-page (in WooCommerce), I would like to add 2 custom tabs, beside ‘Description’. One tab will have track-listing of that album, including audio-player below to each track name, or the audio players for each track, with the track title within that player. Another tab will have a tabular data, like ‘Artist’, ‘Release Month/Year’, ‘Label’, ‘Catalog Number’, ‘Weight’, ‘Packaging’, etc.
—2. Instead of Size and Color options, I would like to add 2 new ‘Add To Cart’ links for each album. One button will be traditional ‘add to cart’ button, which will add the current product (physical product) in the site’s cart (WooCommerce) and another will be same type of button, but for the digital downloadable item for the same product. [If each track within that album can have individual ‘add to cart’ button, that would be the most desirable].
—3. In the heading section of each product, I would like to show the artist names (in small font-size) just below to the main title text.
—4. In the product-page, I would like to show the category and tag names of that particular products. Like how ‘tags’ work in Wordpress, if we can have the same thing for the ‘Artists’ too, it would be great. Then, like ‘Categories’ and ‘Tags’, we can link involved artists for a specific album.
—5. In the ‘Shop’ section’s product-listing boxes, there are ‘Rating Stars’ for each product, but in those product’s individual page, I can not see any rating thing. How it works actually?
—6. Can we add other WooCommerce plugins from other web sites, at a later stage? Will it be same as other WooCommerce themes?
—7. Is there any major version coming within January first half? If not, will it be difficult for us to upgrade the web site, when you will update to a new version?
—8. Will you provide all the future upgrades free, if we will purchase the theme now?
There will be more questions later on. But first, please answer the above ones.
Thanks in advance,
Thank you for your interest in Ventus and sorry for my delay in replying your comment…
Actually Ventus currently supports WooCommerce but I didn’t add the shop pages yet honestly because I’m busy with Ventus upgrades and tickets and also another new WordPress theme so I didn’t want to catch attentions on this possibility of Ventus for now cause this will make me more busy and maybe I can’t provide a first class support to clients who their focus is on WooCommerce.
But most of the issues that you’ve mentioned are customizations and I can’t say that Ventus WooCommerce pages will look like that and you should perform some customizations for them.
About Ventus upgrade process, I’ll send an update by the end of this week but this new update is not related to WooCommerce. And upgrade process is very easy. Of course if you want to customize your theme, you should use a child theme to be able to easily upgrade your theme.
And finally, yes, upgrades are absolutely free or charge. This is free in whole ThemeForest marketplace and for all the themes. So you can purchase any themes here without worrying about further upgrades…
Ventus is a very good theme and maybe it sounds a little weird but I won’t recommend it for a 100% shop based website. It’s a fantastic theme for a business or corporate site with some shopping functionality. I hope this helps you…
Sorry again because of my late response.
I’m in the process of translating Ventus in italian, I have spotted a term missing from the original .po file, is the word “on” related to posting dates for the blog articles. It’s not a big deal though you might consider to update it in some future release.
I’ll be glad to share the italian version when I’m done
Thank you very much! I would really appreciate if you do this By the way, I’ve added this word now and will try to release the new version by the end of this week which contains some new features too
Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions.
I have 2 issues to solve in Ventus Theme
1.images in Revolution Slider do not cover the whole area required, always no matter if i change and resize the images, a grey margin persist.
2. I’ve been trying to add an image carrousel through the Visual Composer but images do not appear at all
Thank in advance for your attention
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! For the revolution slider issue, please kindly follow the instructions in this article:
This should help you to simply make a full width slider for your site.
About the issue with Visual Composer, would you please send a private ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and let me check it on your WordPress?
Now the slider fits properly.
Very Nice Theme, congrats!
Thank you very much. Please send me a ticket for the other issue if it’s not fixed yet
Is there a fix for viewing the Ventus theme in Internet Explorer version 9 or earlier?
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! Ventus should work fine even in IE8. Would you please send me a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and give me your site URL and let me check it? Thank you.
Please also take a look at its demo site and let me know if you have the same problem with the demo site or not. (http://preview.themique.com/ventus)
Please let me know if you have any other questions, problems or suggesions.
I am having a problem, i have installed it but bits wont change.
I cant change colour, light / dark or “Triangles” ... but width and layout work.
P.S Ticksy does not like me.
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! I guess your theme options are not imported properly. This should be fix by following the instructions in this article:
Please note that these instructions will reset your theme options to Ventus default settings so if you’ve changed many options in your theme options, please send me an email from my profile page and give me permission on your WordPress (if it’s possible) so I’ll fix it for you.
P.S. Why doesn’t ticksy like you? Please let me know what’s the problem and I’ll try to fix it because I think I can help more by using ticksy Thank you.
Seems to have done the trick, Thanks.
You are welcome! Glad to hear that it’s fixed
I installed your theme, and I activated revolution slider and I imported simple data slide. But it’s doesn’t work well, there is a lot of mistrakes, I installed wp 3.8 . What I must do?
Thank you for purchasing Ventus! Would you please send me a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and give me your website URL to let me check the issue? Actually I didn’t receive such report from other users about revolution slider so I need to see the errors on your site (or on your admin panel) to find a solution for it
I am busy customising your theme for a client. Everything is working well but there is only one thing I am still battling with. On the Contact page – http://preview.themique.com/ventus/pages/contact/ – when resizing the browser to a small screen, or viewing it on a mobile device, the “Marker Image” displays awkwardly behind the contact form. I know that this is all generated on the Google Maps side but I was wondering if you might have a work around for this.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! I’ve changed the responsive CSS of this section. Would you please check it on demo site now? If it looks fine to you, please open a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and I’ll send you the updated files for now.
By the way I’ll include this improvement in the next version for sure Please note that if you’ve purchased Ventus with another account (maybe your clients account) please ask him to give you the purchase code. This way you can sign up with the ticketing system. Thank you…
Thanks for the response. I checked out your update and it looks fine. I will submit a ticket to request the updated CSS file.
I’ve proceed the ticket. Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments.
Hello, awesome theme! Im editing a friends website whom has your theme loaded. There is something i cannot figure out for the life of me…
here at this link (http://preview.themique.com/ventus/shortcodes/) how do you get the tour tabs to link to external links?
Thank you for your interest in Ventus! Please open a ticket in http://themique.ticksy.com and I’ll help you by some screenshots and a step by step guide to make this on you site.
Please note that you should provide the purchase code when you want to open a ticket in our ticketing system, so please ask your friend to give you his/her purchase code. Thank you
