I sent you an e-mail a week ago and received an automated reply, but no answer, so I am asking my questions here.

I would like to set up a site with a full-width slider on the homepage – pretty much like your demo version. I read a number of comments here about this. I have written 3 articles with a 1600×400 picture for each, I have set the ‘blog_home_no_sidebar’ custom field to true for each article.

But I still get a cropped, centered version of my pictures (1140×400). Is there something I misunderstood?

whenever i set up a logo it is shown just with about half the size or something on the website, although in the admin area it is show in full size.

Why is that?

I being trying to get the 2nd step right for many times “installing the demo onto the theme” ........getting frustrated…....I even deleted all the database for this website and re-installed wordpress today, and I still cannot get the demo to work properly, this time all the links are failing too….......ie. it is linked to thinkappy.com/# and the pages cannot be modified (ie. all the pages have the same default wordpress content, that I cannot modify)

How do I rectify all this?

do you intend to improve the menu bar? Resizing the window and scrolling horizontal: only content is scrolling, but menu bar remains. Can not read menu items at all in some cases.

Why have there been no developer responses in this section for 6 months?

Hi everyone, We just had our website with this theme hacked. It appears the version of timthumb that comes with the theme is very outdated and has security issues.

Please make sure to update your timthumb.php with the newest version.

Is this theme still supported by the authors?

I have an issue whereby my “Theme Options” points to the install / initial screen, rather than the options I already have set.

If I choose the option for it to “do nothing” – it resets everything and I loose all my widgets / customisations.

I know can’t access this area to add new sidebars etc.

Any ideas?

Hi, I have been trying to enlarge my logo on the top of the homepage. I found you told to do this: $data[‘logo’]); ?>&h=45&zc=1 in the header-logo.php. In which, modify the value of h will enlarge the logo. I tried that in the editor with different values but nothing changed. Please help. Thanks.

The url of each portfolio category is prefixed with ’/works/...’ how do I change this to another word, i.e. events?

We make buying the theme “Venus: Business & Portfolio WordPress Theme” and we’re having trouble activating the same. All configurations are in accordance with the instructions. I tested with Wordpress version 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3.1 and 3.4. We have performed several tests activating the theme with plugins installed and activated but did not work, also installed and activated the theme normally without any plugin. I used more than one server to test and both have not worked. The following website link to see what is happening.
