Super simple to use – Thanks.

Quick question – what do I alter in the countdown.js to change the date?

Thanks -

ThemeChills

Thanks for the purchase sjpaladino.

To answer your question, all you need to do to change the date on the countdown timer is:

  1. Open up the custom.js file
  2. Go to line 64
  3. Edit the date parameter to the date you need
  4. Save the file and let the countdown begin

If you need more help with the above just let me know.

Thanks again,

Great theme really like it. Is the form at the bottom of the page a form-to-email script ? I can’t work out how to configure it to send the contents to my email. Any advice gratefully received.

ThemeChills

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the purchase and feedback, much appreciated.

Re your question, the form can either be used as a standard enquiry form – one which will email you the relevant details, otherwise you can integrate with any e-mail autoresponder client you may be using (e.g. MailChimp)

If you choose the first option, you can simply use a script similar to this:

http://www.freecontactform.com/email_form.php

Just be sure to change the values to what you need them to be. If you require more help let me know.

Thanks,

The pretty photo feature isn’t working, even on you original html files with no modifications. What’s up with that?

ThemeChills

Hi @meticulosity,

Thanks for the purchase.

You will see that in the live preview the feature works. This is because the countdown timer is active and it is not on 00:00:00:00 – in the download file it would be set to all zeros as there was an arbitrary date entered in.

All you’ll need to do is set a date in the countdown.js file and you’ll see that the prettyPhoto feature will work as required.

See how you go with the above and if you have any further issues feel free to contact me again.

Thanks,

Leo

Stupid question I know but how do I change the email for the contact form?

Thanks

ThemeChills

There’s never any stupid questions :)

What are you referring to specifically though? Is it the placeholder attribute (i.e. example@domain.com)? If so, you’ll only need to update:

placeholder="example@domain.com"

through the code to whatever you like.

If not, note that the contact form is left open for you to customise it as you see fit. It doesn’t work out of the box until you hook it up with a specific script.

Let me know how you go and if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Leo

Okay thanks (in regard to you answer to me last comment)

I’ve tried to hook the form up with a php script but when I click submit it tries to download a file.. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

ThemeChills

Hi @destinymedia,

Not a problem.

Re your question, hard to say without seeing the code and drilling down on the issue. If you like, send me the link and I can take a look at it – please note though that I do not provide support for third party scripts, only the template itself.

If you are having issues with the script itself, I would recommend you contact the developer’s support site.

Send me your link through the contact form and I can check it out.

I cannot get the blue template to work with the countdown. I did as per your instructions but nothing has happened. Also what 3rd party script can you recommend to use with your form.

ThemeChills

Hi @rikkir,

I don’t have any e-mails from you or any other form of previous contact. Send me a PM along with your proof of purchase and your website address and I can help you out.

Hello,

Put simply, how do I get images to show in the gallery section?

Thanks,

Benedict Allen

ThemeChills

Simply change the image src attribute path to where ever your images are found and it will reference these as required.

For example:

To change the thumbnail image simply subsitute the reference “thumb-1.jpg” to your own, or name it the same and it will reference the new image.

<img src="assets/img/preview/thumb-1.jpg" alt="" />

Once you’ve done the above, you can then update the enlarged view on the following code:

<a href="assets/img/preview/large-1.jpg" rel="prettyPhoto[gallery1]"></a>

You can either label your new image as large-1.jpg and then refresh your browser OR if you have a new name for your image then update the href as required.

If you need me to clarify the above further let me know.

Thanks,

Okay Leo, i

need to get support with the email portion of your landing page it seems to work fine if you have a mailto reference ... but if you want this to be formmail for us guys who are not that proficient in that side,
ThemeChills

Hi mmocilac,

The form is left open for you to customize it with the script of your choosing as you see fit.

That being said even though I do not provide support for external scripts I can still give you my thoughts on how to get yours working.

Send me a PM with your link and specific issue and I’ll take a look at it as soon as possible.

Hi Leo,

I am having an issue with the counter working on IE9 . Can you supply a fix? I noticed on your site as well that the timer stalls and does not function as expected on IE9 .

Thanks!

Hi Pete,

Thanks for the purchase. Send me a link to your working version and I’ll take a look at it then get back to you.

Hi Love this theme but I notices it’s not responsive, If we purchase it will it be possible to make it responsive? Please advice

many thanks giovanna

ThemeChills

Thanks!

You can always include the necessary framework within the theme to make it responsive – this current theme is not responsive.

If you would like to arrange a custom request to have this done from my end, then feel free to PM me directly and we can talk about the finer details.

Hi there,

Where in the Code shall I insert my email for receiving the messages from the contact form?

Cheers! Johann

ThemeChills

Hi Johann,

Do you have a working form and are looking to troubleshoot why it’s not sending you emails?

OR

Are you trying to get the form to work and would like a script that will send you emails? If this is the case, I would Google a simple PHP contact form (if you want to use PHP ) and that should do the trick.

Here is an example form I found – www.1stwebdesigner.com/tutorials/custom-php-contact-forms/

Note that this is only a suggestion, you can really implement any kind of script you like so long as you follow the same markup structure and maintain the corresponding selectors.

Hope it helps, thanks.

Hi,

Nice clean design! The PrettyPhoto function isn’t working, even if I do work with Lightbox. The same in your live example.

Please, can you fix this?

Maarten

ThemeChills

Hi Maarten,

Thanks for your comment. I believe it’s an issue when the countdown reaches zero – thanks for pointing it out.

I’ll look into it further and let you know once it’s fixed.

Thanks,

Leo

ThemeChills

Hi Maarten,

It appears the issue was caused by a deprecated function in the plugin which was not supported by the latest jQuery file reference.

I’ve submitted a fix to the Review Team for this and it should hopefully be approved soon.

I’ll update the thread once I receive a response.

Thanks,

Leo

Hi, I’m interested in purchasing this theme but I have a question first. Can the countdown be disabled? We don’t have an official launch date and don’t want to keep resetting it.

Thanks, BKM

ThemeChills

Hi BKM,

Absolutely. All you would have to do is remove the Javascript reference and remove the markup which contains the countdown timer.

If you decide to purchase the landing page, feel free to email me if you run into any issues and I’ll be able to assist further.

Leo

Hi

I tried to edit the code to place a video from you tube on my landing page….

<section class=”grid_12 section”>

Teaser Trailer

<iframe src=”http://player.vimeo.com/video/30441215?byline=0” width=”940” height=”530” frameborder=”0” webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe> <!- END .featured-video ->

I replaced this code http://player.vimeo.com/video/30441215?byline=0 with my you tube link but the video disappeared?

ThemeChills

Hi @rikkir,

Can you send me the link of your example and I can take a closer look?

www.my-prints.ca Im not sure if its the width=”940” height=”530” code interfering? I removed it and tried it but no luck.

ThemeChills

Step 1 – remove the references to the countdown.js and less files as both these are throwing a JavaScript error.

Step 2 – remove the existing placeholder video and include the YouTube embed code nested within the featured-video container.

I did a test through dev tools and seemed to do the trick.

Let me know how you go, thanks.

thanks for the help as well.

ThemeChills

Hi Richard,

Thanks for sending through the files. I’ve responded through email with the updated copies.

For everyone else’s benefit though I will let you know in here as well. It appears the problem was coming from how the src attribute was being referenced. I used the default YouTube embed code and worked as required.

Thanks,
