This is my first web site building. I just did a page and would like to save it as template for other parts of the web site. How can I do a save as or something like that?
As of now you can not save the page layout to be used in other parts of website. we’ll include this as a feature request for coming updates.
Can you change the background to a different image instead of the patterns that seem to come loaded?
Yes, you can set any background image the patterns are the background effect which are applied over the image. Checkout demo controls in our demo.
I’m having serious issues with not being able to save settings as well as options like the shortcode menu disappearing from the edit content panel. Very frustrating. I tried downloading an update as recommended in the forums but its the same version I have.
Also, this theme looks awful in Chrome.

This theme looks fantastic, I already have a project I could it it for but I just have a few questions first:
1) on Homepage layout 3 you have four steps below the slider could this be changed to six steps?
2) on Homepage layout 4 you have 5 rollover feature buttons directly under the call to action and above Recent Work. Can this be 6 rather than 5?

1. Yes, Step size can be changed from Options Panel => Slider Settings.
2. Yes the Rollover feature (Animated Menu) are available in 4 Sizes : 3 Rollovers, 4 Rollovers,5 rollovers and 6 rollovers.

Any ideas?
These errors can be safely ignored. All it means that the modal or Popup categories haven’t been imported. So you can create Popups yourself if required.
Okay great, just wanted to double check nothing went wrong. Would it be possible to get the layer slider export from your demo? If you go to the layerslider section it has an export code.
I have pasted the LayerSlider export code in the Forums, but unfortunately the images are not exported with the import.

Are you talking about Animated Menu ? If yes, select shortcode “Animated Menu” and paste your link in “Link to URL”.
Could you please share your URL via our contact form, so that we can see what’s the issue with pagination.

I have attached the screenshot of the animated menu where you need to place your link. Child_shortcode comes when you leave the space blanks.
P.S : You need to register yourself to see the image. Moreover, It would be great if you can create thread for your issue in our forums . It gives you more space to write as well as option to attach your image. Tracking is much more easier in forums.
Is there anyway to edit the category template on this theme? When loading category.php it is linking to some vibe options that I cannot find, anyway to put my own custom category template into this?

I bought the theme. I liked it a lot!! On the educational part, on the sample data, i can’t find vibecom.xml you speak about it, but it doesnt show. can u help? paulo
You can download sample data using two options.
1. The link is given in the Online Documentation => Setting up => Installing Sample data
2. There is a Download button in the Vibe Options Panel => Getting Started Section.
We strongly suggest you watch the videos to be able to setup easily.
i followed the videos and what shows up is diiferent. the .xml file is named newfile and not vibecom. when installing it gives an error. for me it’s important to get the sample data, to build the site from there
When you click on the download it would ask you to name the file. You can save it with any name. You can tell us what errors you’re getting, some errors can be ignored, such as the ones related to modal-types:
“Failed to import modal-type…”.
In case you’re unable to install the sample data, you can send us your WP Admin credentials on mail and we’d setup the sample data.

yes, but what happens is that those sample models do not appear on the dasboard (pages, portfolios, etc..). Maybe i must give you the WP Admin credentials. Sorry, i am new to this: what are specifically what you need? The host website where i have it installed, password,...?

Hi, Wonderful theme!! Let me ask one question before purchasing.
There are two title tags in the code. In my understanding, title tag should be written just once in each page. Is there any particular reason for that? Or do I miss something important in my understanding ?
It would be great if you could let us know which page/’s you’re referring to?
In our theme wherever Title tags are hardcoded, we have used them only once, rest is always configurable via the dynamic elements of the theme like LayerSlider, Page Builder etc. and it is up-to the user to use them appropriately that is why we recommend using Yoast WordPress SEO as a part of our SEO Panel [ screenshot: http://goo.gl/3B9Q3 ].
I think these are shown in all the page. Please check the code on Line5 and Line28 of every page.

To clearify my previous reply, I was confusing <title> with Page Title as H1 tag.
We are having an issue on the theme color changes. I have enabled Custom Theme and set the color changes in the Customizer, but the colors do not change. It is staying in the blue color scheme no matter what I do, even if Enable Theme Customizer is disabled, the color is blue when I pick from one of the 11 Vibecom Themes. The website is www.vintage-made-modern.com. Any help would be appreciated.

Please see if these options are enabled to use Theme Customizer
1. Enable Custom Theme in Vibe Options -> Elements.
2. Enable Custom Typography in Vibe Options -> Typography.
3. Enable Theme Customizer and start using theme customizer.
In case this does not help, you can mail us your WP Admin credentials and we’ll check if there are any incorrect settings.

Is it possible to have a page that only shows the clients logos? and how do you set that up from the admin?
Is it possible to have a front page that just shows slider, and below that recent work/portfolio?
And for the clients logos, is it possible for them to be colour all the time? and not start off as black&white?
Yes, all the tasks above can be done easily using page builder.
There seems to be a problem with the home page portfolio items, when I test the site in Safari with my iPhone 4S. I cannot open the portfolio items up by tapping them.

We’re aware of this issue and it mostly happens due to improper loading of scripts. We’ve seen this mostly on slow networks. The solution is to refresh/load the page again.
Since we’re using WordPress native editor for content block, we haven’t yet found a fix for it.
Will update once we find a fix.
The error i’m receiving in firebug is this : TypeError: this.getDoc(...) is undefined in wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce.js maybe this can help in finding the problem

If you’ve done all the changes via Options Panel & Meta box settings, then all your settings will remain intact. If you’ve done any hardcoded changes in the CSS, make sure that changes are in the child theme CSS.
You can also export the “settings” file to your desktop (Options Panel -> Import/Export), just as an added safety.
thanks. for some reason auto update didn’t not (I did have my credentials) work but the manual option worked perfectly and yes I had my customizations in the child CSS.
sorry, I have encountered another error. In the typography section i’m changing font color (H4 specifically) after saving, I reload the typography setting page and it has gone to the original #BBBBBB. Yes I do have the custom typography enabled yes.
Do check if WP Theme Customizer is enabled, if enabled please disable it to use the typography section. If enabled then it overwrites the typography settings on save.

However I do have another question. I would like to disable the tagline (where it shows page titles in a gray box)from specific pages. Is there a settings or that is a custom request?
You can do this easily:
1. Edit the page , look for page builder.
2. In page builder you’ll see “Content Block” green boxes, click on list icon to edit.
3. Find and remove the full-width Content block which has the tagline Short-Code in it.

Yes. Taglines has an option “Attach to Top”, so no matter where you place them you can always use this functionality to attach them to top.

Love the theme. Installed the demo – looks just great Thanks for all the hard work that went into this. A couple of related questions: 1. Can I adjust the height of the header? It’s a bit too much at the moment 2. If I wanted to narrow the Slider(s) – would that be possible?
(Just as a mention – you might want to run it through the w3c validator – on my install it’s throwing up a few minor errors about the tooltip – “Bad value tooltip for attribute rel on element a: Not an absolute IRI. The string tooltip is not a registered keyword or absolute URL.”)

If you want to narrow the width of the slider then you can use 3/4, 2/3 width “Content Blocks” in page builder. You can use additional actions in page builder for spacing etc.
3. We’re using standard tooltips available in bootstrap, the tooltip errors are present in the Bootstrap itself.
