Hi, great team but one question: Is it possible to make a menu item that is not clickable, just like a menu ‘folder’. Pim
Which menu item you are pointing to can you point to specific page so that i can understand.
When you see the main upper menu, their is one item named ‘Blog’. When you roll over that, their comes an sub menu, or you can just click on ‘Blog’.
The question is if you can disable the function to click on ‘Blog’, so you can only roll over and click on the submenu items like: Blog style 1, blog style 2 & blog style 3

The slides are still having problems (stacked on top of each other) and the sub menus are not clickable…thanks…
The following changes will fix the issue. open twitter.php file located in victoria/framework/includes/twitter.php
Find Line$messages = fetch_feed('http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/'.$username.'.rss');Replace Line$messages = fetch_feed('http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline/'.$username.'.rss');I made the change and it did not work.

Hello.. i purchased this theme, but im having some problems.. for some reason the admin area stops working. I mean when you go to the Victoria settings on the dashboard, the options, like homepage, slider, color and such.. all the options on the right side, they appear like one big list… not like at the start that you clicked on a option and it showed you just the list for that option.
Besides that, its not letting me change anything.. when i try to update a setting it just doesnt do it..
please help me
Nevermind.. there is a Plugin called flip book, that messes the Theme Up.. is a plugin that simulates a page flip for images.. and thats the one messing the hall theme up.. if this helps you out for any future reference
The theme needs update for the twitter widget as twitter.com updated their API to newer version which impacts the theme and messed up. changes i have given in the previous message please make an update for it then it will fix your issue.
hi, I’m having display issue with the slider when using Cycle mode. The slide animation stopped working and all slide images are displayed stacked on top of each other. It looks like JS issue.
I’m using version 1.6. If you were to ask me to update to 1.7, then my question is what is the best way to do it with minimal discrepancy. I have customization on the CSS and possible core file mofidication. Just don’t want to redo all these again—lots of hours.

Change the twitter.php bugs i have mentioned in previous message its due to the twitter.com updated their API to version 1.1 which impacts the theme.
Thanks for the quick reply. I updated the twitter.php file as instructed, thou this doesn’t fix the issue i have. When i have the homepage slider in Cycle mode, all images are still staging on top of each other.
One other clue that may help is that after installing the theme a few months ago, i did notice this same problem occurred a few times and somehow went away soon after. Accept this time it’s broken for good.

Update: Updating the twitter.php file didn’t work for me, but i just found a workaround solution. Turning off Victory-Twitter widget does the trick. I just have to use different Twitter widget instead.

Hi, Having the same issue with twitter and the slider. I will plug the twitter code fix you have listed above to see if it works, but I need a fix for the slider so that the pics don’t stack up. Do you have any suggestions?

Have you changed that in two places or one place? there were two lines needed to be replaced.

Hey, I cant get the slider to appear at all on home page. Not at all. confused
Make sure you have the latest version of victoria theme as legacy versions were giving issues with slider due to the change in the twitter.com API which they have updated recently.
O loaded xml but the demo it gives me is loaded from your server not mine so the theme setting arent editable from the xml demo
Demo will be loaded obviously from my server so you need to change the urls to your server for that you need to upload your own images and change the URL accordingly.
Hello, We’ve run into a couple problems on our site that we can’t seem to figure out how they’ve happened, since the theme editor has not been touched since the changes occured.
The website is http://elcholopasadena.com, The banner on the homepage is showing the two slider images are stacked, and the content in the footer does not show up, however in the widgets manager in the admin the content is all still there.
Not sure if this is related, but we recently had our web host create an A record set-up for a subdomain of our site.
Please advise.

I know you didn’t see the updates. It all happened because twitter.com people updated their API to latest version which impacts many themes you need to update the changes for the twitter API read my previous messages for updating and it will be fixed.

I am having a number of issues with this theme.
Apologies if this info is elsewhere but your forums dont seem to offer an answer to the most basic setup info and I am at my wits end.

1) You can set that from the WP-Menus in dashboard.
2) If you go to this page you can see that its working perfectly on live preview http://www.aivahthemes.com/victoria/curabitur-aliquam-adipiscing-venenatis/
3) Create a custom sidebar for posts is the default sidebar which you can place any widgets which will be fetched for all the posts.
4) Create a custom sidebar for pages and assign them while creating the page. assign the sidebar in page options below your content editor.

For that scrolling posts sorry I didn’t designed that may be you can try some sliders or carousels for that i think.
Regarding the background color issue for the teaser area open style.css and remove the ’#boxed’ from the following line

Its not there but i will sure consider that in the next update that you can change the limit from theme options panel.

Make sure you don’t select the frontpage from them dashboard>settings>reading leave it to your latest posts and select homepage from theme options panel.

You have a custom field edit the posts and see the price field in the options below the content editor. If you are looking for the edit of the text written ‘prices’ then it will be there in the language tab in theme options panel.

1. There’s a small bug in the carousel slider. When I click the arrows to rotate the slides the titles disappear.
2. Can I choose a specific menu type to show as slides? For example, I have the categories: doughnuts, paninis, muffins, etc., am I able to just show the doughnuts as the slider?
3. Can I also pick and choose specific menu items to show? I may want to use the slider to only showcase certain menu items. Is this possible?
