Always Perfect! GLWS Orman!
Amazing! Good luck with sales
Thanks
Awesome, will use this for one of my new sites
Great! Sounds good to me. Really looking forward to seeing this one out in the wild
Great work as always Orman! Best luck with sales!
Thanks Mike, appreciate it!
I think this is truly one of a new kind of theme, well done!
Thanks, really appreciate the kind words!
I’m in love with the slider
Well done.
Truly amazing. Looks great on the iPad & iPhone as well. Well done.
Thanks!
amazing theme good luck with sales
looks nice
I like that you bring back the regular blog theme structure on home page with left content with latests posts and sidebar. Looks very nice.
Congrats.
Thank you. A classic layout never gets old
Ooooer
as always you dont disappoint!
Quick question, is the home page layout customisable? Ideally id like to minimise the home page, ie 2-3 box images, a about blurb, and Id like to grab the post slider that you have at the very bottom and chck it in the main home content too..
possssible?
Z
Hi, the theme comes with 3 pre-built homepage layouts, but neither is customisable without editing the layout file itself.
If you wanted to keep the slider and add your own content underneath, that’s a pretty simple HTML change to make it happen, but like I mentioned, you would need to edit the file.
Oh Another question, how hard would it be to work WooCommerce or the likes into this? Could it be a customisation that you’d do?
z
I wouldn’t be able to give you a cast iron guarantee that it would work with WooCommerce out of the box as I have not tested it, however, I believe the plugin can integrate with many different themes and this one should be no different. There is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of development with the theme which would perhaps interfere with the plugin.
Unfortunately we do not take on customisation work.
Nice Theme !
Great thanks for your replies! One last quick question…do pages and posts have WP galleries? Currently your “Gallery” link just takes me to posts in the category I think
Basically want to add several pages with wp gallery!
Thanks Orman!
Sure, you can use the gallery post format (example: http://demo.themezilla.com/viewport/disco/) which has it’s own slideshow in the viewport, or, you can use the WP inbuilt gallery shortcode which will output a bunch of thumbnails in your post content just like any other theme.
Looks great, I will wait for a bussiness template with this style
What is the optimum size of the images used for the posts etc. I notice that they are being cropped such as the Marilyn Monroe post.
If I wanted to use this for a photography blog, then ideally I would want my images not to be altered.
Thanks. Mike.
Hi Mike, images in the viewport itself can be any size as it will display them at the optimum size for the browser. It will either scale the image by width or height depending on the size of the user’s browser window. The viewport is 600px tall so for minimum cropping you might create your images at this height.
Thumbnails are scaled to fit 300px in width but can be any height.
Hi Orman.
Thanks for the quick reply. Very helpful.
Mike.
Another question?
Is it possible to constrain the image to a maximum width of the page, so that it stays flush with the header and post page width instead of full screen width?
I am viewing your theme here on a 24 and 27 inch screen, and at that width, the image crops too much. Therefore I would prefer to contain the image as above.
Cheers. Mike.
If you didn’t want any cropping/scaling at all then you would need to edit the theme’s CSS . If you removed the CSS (and a touch of JS) which scales the images, then you would be able to upload images of exactly 960×600px and have them sit centrally in the viewport.
So yes, possible, but you would need to edit the CSS .
Hi Orman.
Have posted a support request for you regarding this.
Thanks. Mike.
Got it.

+1 moreBeautiful, Orman, as usual.
I wanted to say you guys should be proud of this one, but I’m sure you are, it’s a beaut.
Thanks, it’s certainly a favourite of ours.
Awesome! I am also making a magazine theme and I really liked your item so much. I will be taking some inspiration from this item if you don’t mind
Feel free to be inspired
I love your new theme so much, but it’s not good for my website. Because I built website about social network update news, it’s no have many big and beautiful header photo. :’(
Would you have a plan to make new magazine theme which has some layout (such as Repro) and support responsive design?
Hey, the header images are actually optional, you do not need to include them for every post/page. We did incorporate a caption system too which is ideal for giving credit to the original photographer should you use images from the Flickr Creative Commons for example (http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/)
We’ll certainly have new magazine themes in the future, but I imagine there will be a few different themes first.
Thank you for your response. Could you add more screenshot such as Theme Options page?
There are very few options for this theme as it’s essentially just a blog. This should give you an idea of the options http://s.zilla.cc/HC13
