Does Village use Wordpress built-in media? I would like to be able to switch to the Village theme without having to re-upload prior images.

In the demonstration video, it appears to be similar to the Media Uploader built into Wordpress, but I wanted to ask.

Hello, The custom sidebar widget does not seem to work. I am simply trying to have a custom sidebar that has a menu and then custom text/html (that should show as a button) but the custom sidebar doesn’t show at all on the page. And this is after selecting what sidebar I would like to display on the page settings. Any clue on why it may not be showing up?

Is it possible on the ‘Slideshow No Cropping’ that the thumbnails be always visible with no option for them to hide? Also, can the menu on the left always stay visible? Finally, is it possible to have all the pages (about, blog, etc) to be centred in the page rather than attached to the menu on the left?

Theme version question. I purchased version 1.0 last year, but it looks like you are now on version 4.0. How do upgrades work? Is it free? Do I have to buy the theme again? Is there a change log where I can see what has been updated?

Hi I’ve created a sliedshow to be shown in the Homepage of my site but the only thing showing is the wheel trying to load the images.

The slideshow contains 3 images of 100kB each. It should load quick, but it doesen’t work.

Any suggestion?

Great theme!!! Can anyone let me know where the slideshow size is defined. I want to show smaller images centered on the homepage, and it blows the image up large. I see in firebug it reads,

position: absolute; display: none; width: 1024px; height: 1536px; left: 0px; top: -561px; z-index: 0;” rel=”2”>

However I cannot find this, can anyone let me know how to manually change the size of the slideshow, “right navigation portrait.” I have tried setting the size in the slide, but that does not change it, still blows it up to a big image again.
