Vision - Corporate Template with CMS and Shop

Hi,

I have installed the template successfully, but when I try to click on any link in the header, it shows “no input file specified”.

The admin panel is working fine, but the front end does not work.

I have hosted the site on godaddy.

Please help figure out a solution to this problem.

I am evidently missing something in the site-construction instructions… either that or the download is missing a number of files… The zip file that came with this download is nothing but php and css files, the “upload” folder contains no files whatsoever, and, after a very very long process of setting up mysql and phpadmin etc. the ‘admin’ page refused to go beyond the final step. Any help would be appreciated…Is the zip file missing files?

I followed all of the instructions and uploaded the appropriate files to the root folder. Unfortunately, the second step requires that a number of folders in the ‘upload’ folder be writable… this is not possible, since those folders don’t exist as subdirectories in the ‘upload’ folder. I tried to perform a quick fix by manually creating the folders and giving them write permission… although it seemed, at first, that this worked the install process never went beyond the final step. I clicked ‘Finish’ and nothing happened (besides my name and email being sprawled across the page). Please advise.

Okay, I’ve managed to get the admin panel up and the site’s loaded all of the sample content. How do I go about manually editing the html from here (swapping pictures, changing fonts, managing the site in dreamweaver, etc.)? I also seem to be getting an Error 2038 whenever I try to change any of the pictures using the admin panel.

In short: I’m in Dreamweaver. Where are the html documents for the page located? e.g. index.htm, contact.htm, etc. I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

I have one more question which is the most important, how do i setup my google webmaster account?

I see a space in the admin for google ownership – but what, when setting up google webmaster, should I select, and which bit do i think put in the owneship section?

I tried to upload an html page but it didn’t work – please assist.

In your theme details you say that it provides automatic sitemap generation – can you walk me through this?

I can’t seem to get rid of sample tag 1 and 2 in the blog section?

Also – Is it possible to put links to other pages into the news items on the homepage?

Also – My page titles do not seem to be displaying correctly. it always goes back to my default seo settings – when I delete these – it comes up with {PUB:SEO_TITLE} so I added it again – but would obviously like each page to be as set in their individual settings.

Am I doing something wrong?

(I’ve just checked and the same goes for meta tags and description)

You can see that the code (which is correct) is working BUT leaves half the code at the bottom of the image – awful.

What do I need to do to fix it?

I’ve had no luck with SEO stuff at all.

Seem to be talking to myself, but a little update anyway -

the blog and news pages has working titles for seo the main navigation and the shop pages – seo for titles desc and keywords aren’t working at all.

I still have no idea how to fix this.

Should I buy this theme? I’m starting a new business and I’m not a coder. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for but the author looks to be overwhelmed. Should I hire someone to manage it, or find another theme?

I’m just weary because of all the complaints about slow requests for assistance.

Basic install, I just downloaded the Vision template and it looks to be more complicated to install then what I’m used to, can you help?

I am used to uploading the .zip Theme in my wordpress plugin on GoDaddy????

I’ve read through the documentation and am lost.

I am trying to link the Latest news in the Home section to a News page… is it possible via CMS ? I can’t find where..

Good evening, I installed the template and everything was working fine but now I try to upload a jpeg, png file on the gallery or any section that has jpeg file and it gives me this error:
