Nice work man, like the clean design. Just fyi, the side bar isn’t showing correctly on the blog, assuming it’s the width.

templateup

Thanks, that issue is now fixed :)

nice style, good luck )

Thank you :)

I would love to see how does the “Contact Page” looks like…

templateup

Hi, although the theme does not come with a custom coded contact page, It is very simple to install “Contact Form 7” and add to a page, which can be seen at

http://wpcrave.com/wp10/?page_id=131

If you need any help setting up a contact page I would be more than happy to help :)

Looks great. The side bar is appearing far down on the page in Chrome. Will this be fixed in the version I buy?

templateup

ah sorry, I have corrected this now, Although the new files will have to be accepted by Themeforest. The fix is 1 line in the css file however which I could send you a new file directly or assist you in making the change if you were to buy it before themeforest updates the files :)

Thanks, Jesse

Hey Jesse. Great theme. The edit interface is very cool. I can’t get any images in the slider to appear for either pages or posts. I’ve tried using both full and partial image urls in the custom field but no joy. I checked out the doumentation to be sure. Am I missing a step in the process? Thanks.

templateup

hmm are you using wordpress Mu by any chance? if not I find the url path that works best starts with /wp-content/uploads/ Also have you tried the upload/insert image way to attach an image to a post/page? like I have shown in the “adding thumbnails to a post” video

Akhimien Purchased

Just regular wordpress hosted by Bluehost. I tried the url path you suggested and that solved it thanks! I’m used to uploading directly into images folder via ftp but this way works too. Is it possible to set the slider speed and transitions anywhere?

templateup

ah yes I often do that too, the path you would want to use for that would just be a very relative path: /images/image.jpg

yes there is, go into /js/customfunctions.php and find

$('#slider').nivoSlider();

replace with

$('#slider').nivoSlider({
            effect:'random',
            slices:15,
            animSpeed:500,
            pauseTime:3000,
        });

to change the transition effect change to any of these

  • sliceDown
  • sliceDownLeft
  • sliceUp
  • sliceUpLeft
  • sliceUpDown
  • sliceUpDownLeft
  • fold
  • fade
  • random

slices controls the amount of slices in the slicing transition

animSpeed controlsthe speed of the slide

pauseTime controls the pause between slides

Great. Many thanks. Keep up the good work.

Really great work with the theme Option! You are awesome Mate!

Good luck with sales :D

Great style to this theme.. just wondering if it’s possible to resize the initial slider on the front page to be taller?

Also have you got it setup so that you can just setup your own slides, rather than pulling them from the blog?

1) Hi, with simple changes to the files which I have saved and can give to you, I was able to make it semi dynamic, there are just 3 height styles you will need to change to whatever height you choose, the bottom however will need to be non rounded and there will be no dark overlay beneath the slider buttons.

The dynamic slider looks like this

2) No I haven’t sorry, you can however add individual posts as you like.

Hello

My name is Kenji and I am really interested on buying your product. I just wanted to ask if I could add a e-commerce plug-in called WP-ecommerce to your template?

Thanks. I am really interested on your theme.

templateup

Hi, kind of, I haven’t styled it but it still works.

Here is a screenshot of what it looks like with minor css changes(which I can give you and assist on changing if you like)

So nice excellent to know.

I wanted to know if you have an admin panel for configuring color schemes on site quick and easy. Lets say for example I want to change the Colors for the menu buttons. Or the color on the footer or the color on the buttons that appear beneath the rotating Jquerry images. Does your theme offer this? If so I will buy right away I am convinced of your design.

That would be all thanks for your prompt answer.

templateup

no sorry it doesn’t, you can view the theme options demo on the item description page to see the background options it offers, the footer is only 1 color, so that is easy to change in style.css I can provide you with enough information to change that yourself but sorry no there is no quick settings for that.

Great theme! How do you insert the slider picture so it appears on the homepage? I noticed the question above about attaching thumbnails to post/page but can’t figure out the slider part. Thanks a million!

templateup

Hi, so first off you enter the theme options page and click on “slider options” then (making sure it’s enabled) select to display it by categories or pages, if you selected categories choose a category from the drop down, if you selected pages choose multiple pages from the checkboxes. To get the image to appear, you need to either upload/insert an image to a post/page via the wordpress uploader or link to an image from custom fields ( custom field for image thumbnails is “post-image” ). Have you checked out the videos in the documentation? both “creating a slider” and “adding thumbnails to a post/page”?

Hello ! Before purchase I’d like to know if this GRAT theme is “translation ready”... is it ? Thanks !

templateup

I can’t see why it wouldn’t be as it doesn’t echo anything other than what you write so if you write in your language it will output in the same language :) or if you’re using a translator plugin then yes that will also work, the only thing I can think of is the comment area and custom ad widget, they will stay english, however they can be hardcoded fairly easily.

In short, yes with a few limitations

Hi,

I’ve just purchased this stunning theme. Can’t wait to get in to it. I’ve created a new install of WP (latest version) to work on this for which includes plugins etc. I plan on using when I go live. However, I’ve just got a question first.

I noticed on the demo that in the sidebar the Categories and Search widgets have the subtitles “subtitle here” and “enter keywords” respectively. However, on my installation I cannot see how to do this. Is a plugin required or further customisation?

EDIT : Removed error point. Installing WP-PageNavi fixed this.

Kind regards, Alasdair

templateup

weird, that plugin shouldn’t affect it, If you have the shortcodes in your widget title [head]your subtitle here[/head] it should work no matter what plugins you have :) maybe the widgets didn’t save properly or something, is it working fine now? :)

Thanks, that shortcode did the job alright. I wasn’t aware that it existed was the problem.

Hi again,

This is probably more of a jQuery question than relating directly to this theme, but is there any way to prevent the slider from blinking when there’s only one slide (aka stop it trying to go to the next slide when there’s none)?

Kind regards, Alasdair

templateup

Hi, I have a fix for it, but if you have more than one slide you will probably want to change the code back so that it switches slides automatically.

go into js/customfunctions.php

and find

$('#slider').nivoSlider();

replace with

$('#slider').nivoSlider({
        manualAdvance:true,
});

Please rate :)

Hi, that works great! It’s a shame this is not an automatic feature but is a useful workaround if I find myself in a situation where I have only one featured item.

I’ll be sure to rate high once I’ve finished configuring this great theme.

Good afternoon, is there any way to include accented vowels (áéíóú) and Ñ? Thanks

templateup

yep, send me an email from my profile page and I will send you a cufon file which has all characters in it :)

I’ve been trying to get the portfolio layouts to work but I can see no way to activate or assign them. How/where do I do this?

More importantly, is there a way I can use these layouts with plugins like “Custom Post Type Archives”? If I could get this to work I would be able to progress with the content and put this theme live.

templateup

Hey, the layouts for categories are when you add/edit a category, you will see a dropdown of layouts to select when editing or adding a new category.

I’m not sure what you mean by that plugin?

Probably the simplest template I’ve worked with yet on here! Especially with the theme option visual… Thank you so much for that!!!

Great theme! Need a little direction..

The blocks section, despite my edits and changes, continue to keep the default data.

I only change block 1 and 2 and expected to see the updates. Do I need to change them all?

templateup

hmm no they should change, have you got any quote marks or apostraphe’s in the textareas? if so we might have to change the file. Would you be able to send me a user and pass for your admin panel? and the website address so I can take a look?

I can not get thumbnails to show up in a post. I have viewed the tutorial video (mine play silent. Is there any sound?). The custom field image shows up in the slideshow, but I can not get any images to show up in the post.

Is there any way to have both text and a link button on a front page block? The button makes a really good visual call to action.
