For the social media icons, Instagram ins’t listed, I’d like to just change the graphic files of one of the social networks I won’t be using, can you let me know which directory they live in so I can FTP it in? Or is there a better way?

I want to have the drop down menu like the way you have them on the home, galleries, pages, and shortcodes links. How do I do that?

Portfolio items can link to any page, for example a fullscreen gallery.

I starting using the theme this morning to make a portfolio homepage like your sample. I have tried about 11 ways to make the yellow “Warning” sign show up correctly in the portfolio grid. I made normal .png files. I made padded .png files… and nothing works. It clips the image every time regardless of size. Check it out at http://premarafinancial.com/dev/
So… for portfolio itmes, what is the 1) exact dimensions of the images? 2) are .jpg and .png supported and 3) what am I doing wrong with my attempt?

You can use both PNG and JPG. But you have to remember that the Theme is responsive, this means that will adapt to the screen size. The images are enlarged or shrunk according to this, there isn’t a fixed size for portfolio items.

Yes, you can disable it from the Admin Panel.
Oh and i saw a problem in the live preview. I’m using FF an when i use the homepage slider and scale the browser to mobile there is a problem with the slider icons. The icons jump into the header. Whats that?

Yes, that’s because you are using a desktop browser. When you use a mobile one it will work.

Change those two values (400 and 225)
1. Forgive me for being a little green but I found “vitrux/page-portfolio.php” in the editor but there are no numbered lines and I don’t see those two values (400 and 225). Do I have to make those changes in a different program like GoLive? 2. Do I invert(225 and 400) those values to make the images portrait?
Yes you can invert the values to make ir portrait or just use different values.

Both the standard Jetpack form and Contact Form 7 seem to have their CSS run-over by the themes CSS. You can PIN or LIKE each Portfolio Item individually, but not each separate image in that item.
2. many of your other themes have widget/ widget-areas. for SEO I feel like it would be good to have some text on the homepage, but right now it’s all thumbnails. any thoughts?
3. individual images question like above: in this gallery, http://themes.quemalabs.com/vitrux/portfolio/donec-scelerisque-sapien-eget-volutpat-tincidunt-2/ there is a pattern overlay so there’s no access to the jpeg, so a hover pinterest plugin probably won’t work.in the flex gallery, http://themes.quemalabs.com/vitrux/galleries/nivo-gallery/ there is access directly to the jpeg, but the look of gallery is not as nice/full screen.
I guess my question is, can you have the NIVO gallery go edge to edge and then install a PIN IT plugin …

Great design! I’m interested in buying the theme and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions.
1. How are vertical images handled? I wasn’t sure what you meant when you said “images will be cropped to size.” do all of the images have to be a fixed horizontal rectangle of say 1200×800 pixels?
2 Is it possible to link the home portfolio grid to a bootsrap gallery or flex gallery? Also is it possible to have regular text under the gallery landing page, possibly below the thumbnails in the bootstrap gallery for SEO?
3 Would it be possible to have 30 or so portfolio images on the home portfolio that link to specific galleries they appear in and if possible the actual image in the gallery if its not the first one? For instance my portfolio has 14 catigories and it would be cool to open the home page with a selection of images from that portfolio
4. Would it be possible to see the instructions PDF documentation before purchasing so I could better understand the theme?

1. Yes, they are cropped to landscape. But once inside in the Single Portfolio page you can see the image in portrait with a little modification
2. Yes, you can link to other pages in the Portfolio. And yes you can also add text below the bootstrap gallery.
3. Yes you can, you have to create a Portfolio with the items and then the galleries. And then link the portfolio items each to a gallery.

You can change that orange for any other color easily from the Admin Panel. But if you want an image pattern you can also do it with CSS.
