VIVID - deep into theming

It’s great we purchase a theme with support, but don’t get the support.

If you supported this theme half as efficiently as you flag customers who purchased this product under the guise of support, then you wouldn’t have to flag. This theme is incredible—once you get it installed. You don’t support here, so you post a broken link. Once I find the site and sign up, I can’t post my problem. Who is the genius that decided they should open a support forum where customers can’t post?

I find it really disturbing that you’re flagging ANY comments that are negative. What a shady business practice. Stand by your product and stop deceiving people into buying a product that does not work. Please provide revisions or, failing that, refunds.

Hi I’ve just purchased this item, but unfortuantely I can’t seem to post on the support forum.

When I run the install.php script upto the final page (http://bpo-services.com.au/install.php?profile=demo_profile&locale=en)

I then get this mssg: The connection was reset “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”

Any assistance would be very much appreciated!

This is Frustrating….

His forum throwing a WSOD and has yet to solve any of the major issues 2 months after I have purchased his theme.

I will post any fixes via features in my drupal sandbox…

Sad that the community has to pick up where he could have easily done the same.

I see there is a new version of this theme. I purchased it a month ago and would like to update to the latest version. What are the steps involved it updating to the newer version of Vivid?

I’ve got two questions regarding the image slider. Is it possible to fasten up the time of the images which “slide” in? And can I use simply an image instead of the effect in the slider?

I can’t install Vivid .

When may I get ur reply? I have problem is when I installed the Vivid theme with Demo. there appear only home page and cann’t load other pages.Please help for me.

I tried all possible way to install and couldn’t well done, two possible ways as VIVID _fresh_lightweight (2012-06-19 01:09:38, 7.2 MB)

VIVID _fresh (2012-06-15 00:21:36, 4.53 MB)

were done the installation process but after that can’t reach to the login page as http://mysite.com/user to reach the admin backend.

How can I continue with this theme and I can’t even post my problem in the forum topic for this theme forum, why dont allow?

Please assist ASAP .

I purchased this theme against all the negative feedback and after using drush to clear my caches the theme wont display properly. Can someone assist with some options to getting it to load?

Hello, I need to add some custom JavaScript and styles for a feedback tab on my VIVID theme. it needs to be placed immediately before the tag. where would I add this, to which file.

I have been having issues too, and it seems there is nothing that can be done. After 5 installs on various servers and local, I have been unable to get the theme to work. First issue was the “error about media_vimeo—get_parameters function does not exist”, now when I look at the site, no CSS and links are broken. I love theme forest, I can’t believe they let this theme on their site. I want a refund or I will be reporting this author.

I also have install issues. I have just contacted support about install issues and also about the error (assumption) in the authors forum site not allowing Customers to post support questions.
