Just one last important question. I’m new to creating WP child themes so I want to make sure that I could in fact create a child theme with Watt. You said something up above that says you are working on child theme support. Does that mean that currently I could not create a child theme? Sorry—newbie question!

PS I am asking about making a child theme just for a one-off for this client—not to use the child theme for anything else.

Just bought your theme and trying to upload your zip file to wordpress but its failing each time- is their a certain folder i should unzip then rezip to upload?

Quick question: Is there any way I can have a widget so that it is on every page except for one? Is there a way I can go on that one page and do something so that the widget does not show up on the side of that one page?

Though this may not be the best way / the most elegant way, I have a suggestion : please consider to use the Foundry > Appearance > Custom CSS .

For example, if you want to hide an ad in a particular page;

body.page-id-215 div.widget_adSence {display:none}

As each page is generated with a page id number as a class name in the body tag, you can identify a unique page. And the sidebar widgets have their own class name so you can spot the target widget with a CSS selector.

How do you add a featured video to a portfolio page?

Can the Nivo Shortcode be used on the single project pages to show different slides for the same project? Also, can the filtered portfolio be place on the front page?

I know also you said something about a Child Theme, didn’t know what that was until I looked it up which is awesome. I would love that because I hate when updates come and it messes with the customization. I was wondering how does that effect me purchasing now, would I have to change my customizations after it’s updated to have Child Theme? Just asking because I don’t know how that works. Thanks.

Currently when you enter new portfolio items they are entered to the right and down towards the bottom of the page. I would like each new portfilio entered to be the left most top entry and be pushed to the side as new ones are entered.

I am using the page attribute to assign a number to get them in the order I want but if you click on the prev and next on the page they don’t follow the custom order. Is there a way to fix this or maybe add an option to have newly added portfolios to be at the top left and not at the bottom right.

Also is there a way to turn off the black square with the image name when viewing a portfolio gallery.

You should now see a new portfolio collection where you can enter a title for your new portfolio collection and so on. You can now upload images. Let me know how it goes.

Is there a way to make the advertisements clickable separately? Right now its one long image and I would like to use that space for my sponsors/partners.

@syndk8 You can do so. But you need a knowledge of HTML and CSS .

Please go tick ‘Show Advertisement Banner’ setting item, then tick on ‘Advertisement Banner Type’ setting item labeled as ‘Please check this box if you wish to show an embed object, for example a google AdSense banner.’ What the adSense banner does is just to output what is entered in the ad banner href textarea.

Now paste your clickable ad HTML code into the “Advertisement Banner HREF Leave blank if you do not want a link.” textarea. That is all.
