Hi, when using a gallery how do I make the ‘zoom’ icon appear over each image when I’m hovering over it? Thanks

kubasto

Hi,
this feature is in Website Gallery only. You can watch the short video tutorial from the theme documentation about creating one.

Ahhh… you HAVE to upload new files and not post files from the existing media library. Thank you.

Hello, I really like this theme! I assume you are unable to use infinite scrolling with it? Thanks

kubasto

Hi,
there is no such built-in option.

Hi, I need some help replacing the background img/pattern of the website. I don’t see an option in admin to do this (only changing the text area background is possible) so I looked for the CSS rules in data/css/bright.css. I found the following:

#nav-main li ul li { background-image: url(../img/bright/bg.gif); }
#main { background-image: url(../img/bright/bg.gif); }

But, when I pasted this into the CSS area in the advanced theme options, and changed the bg img to something else, the background goes grey and the new bg img doesn’t display at all. Yes, I remembered to upload a new bg img to data/img/bright.

The other interesting thing is that even if I do not change the bg img, and I use your original bg.gif file, the image does not display. It only displays again when I remove all custom CSS code from the box in advanced settings. Strange! Maybe I didn’t paste the right code.

Maybe there is an easier way to change the background. If not, please tell me why the bg does not display.

Many thanks

kubasto

Hi,
You can set such site background in Theme Options / Appearance. If you want to use custom CSS anyway, you’re using wrong file paths. Use absolute paths.

I want to change the meta data under the post to show the time as well, how do I do that?

kubasto

In Theme Options / Posts.

Default-user

Thanks but I don’t see an option to show the time – only show or hide the date.

kubasto

You’re right. I’ll add that option to the next theme version.
Thanks

Hi Kubasto, thanks, I found it where you said. Strange that it didn’t work before. Maybe I had a temporary server problem and the admin page was not saving. Thanks.

Hello,

Is it possible to settle(adjust) the size and the location of the thumbnail for the frontpage?

This is what I wish to obtain http://conseils-veto.com. But for this result I am obliged to place the image myself in the article to make it appear near the excerpt and below the title. It’s ok for the front page but no thumnail is associated with the article and no image appears in the post related plugin with this way.

If I use the thumbnail box in wordpress the image appears much bigger and moves (compress) my title and the exerpt to the right. It is less fit to be seen I find.

Thanks a lot for answer and hope there is an easy solution.

Sorry for my english :-P

Hi,
there is no such option. If you need custom modification like this, I recommend guys from Tweaky.

Hi, I asked before about changing the overall screen background colour. Thanks for your help on that, but now I need to be able to make the page content and posts content areas transparent, or change the colour from white. How can I do that, please?

Is there a way to add images to use for the Featured Columns section and what are the requirements for those images etc.

kubasto

Hi,
you can use HTML to place images there.
