In the current configuration, is it possible to mix slide-types in one slider? Could you have one slide full-width, one slide image+text, and another image+thumbnails all in one slider? If not in this version do you anticipate including this in a future update?

There is no such option, and I doubt it will be. All 3 types of slider work different way.

Ok, cool, is it something a relatively experienced php/html/css coder, but newbie to wordpress, could add? Would you be willing to set me in the right direction? Otherwise this theme has pretty much everything I need.

For example: On the home page I want to display posts from category 5 and 6

selected category on the front page can be achieved by using Featured Content from the Front Page section, although not automatically. I’m going to make it easier in the next version.

The style.css you refer to, contains only some comments. The theme has more than one CSS files, and all the “real” ones are in the data/css folder.

Is it possible to make the logo to responsive like the ad-space? The logo I’m using is 450px wide so it breaks out when viewed in smaller windows. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the reply. That custom CSS worked perfectly.
Also, you might want to center the h1 (logo) for ”@media only screen and (max-width: 979px) { /* <= Tablet */” version. With larger logos, the ad is centered but logo awkwardly floats left.
There is most likely a more elegant way of doing this but I simply applied the following CSS code to the #header hgroup { width: 440px; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; }
I had one more question for you. I tried to figure this out on my own but haven’t had much luck so far.
In the full-width version our menu items stretch nearly the entire width of the page. This causes the menu to overflow on to the next line in the tablet version. Is there any way to have the font size adjust to a smaller size when the tablet version is displayed? Please see the following two screen shots:

I’ll think about polishing the logo behavior, but as it comes to the menu, it’s prepared to be 2 line in this case. I don’t think I’m going to play with the size, because it would become to small.

How do I change the black color in the footer? I’m using Firebug and can’t find where the color is to change it. I changed the bottom image but that is just a gradient at the top of the footer section.
I also would like to be able to change the fonts of the navigation for another google font.
Background of the footer is in fact background of the site, so it’s changing would affect the header too. Anyway, in code, it’s background of the BODY element.
If you want to change font of the main menu only, you need to make some code modifications. You would have to remember about that after all theme updates, not to loose it. Would you like to do it anyway, and need my help?

I added google code to the custom CSS section but it only works for some fonts. I have also tried to choose a different font for the main site through entering the name of the Google font in the appearance/custom font section but nothing seems to work. A few do but it is hit and miss.
Don’t I need to add some additional info to header.php for the fonts I want to include on the site?
Please give me examples what works and what doesn’t. It’s hard to diagnose the problem now.
I’m talking about in the appearance/theme options/custom font/ section… I can not type in any other Google Font name and have it appear.
In the custom CSS code area… I could get Raleway to appear when I added it to a specific class but no other fonts. No hand drawn fonts, etc.

I have been able to install free themes successfully in my tests, but this theme in particular doesn’t seem to work for some reason…Please advise.

make sure you upload just the website folder form the package downloaded from ThemeForest (zipped if you use WordPress theme uploader).
The package contains also documentation and some other stuff. It’s not a good idea to upload it all.

Like travelgirl68 I’m also seeing a style.css issue…
Wordpress says:
“Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
Please advise.
I managed to upload the theme manually directly into the folder I needed. That seemed to work. But, it’s still frustrating experience.
Items from ThemeForest contain more than just theme. There is documentation etc. included. I know it may be misleading first, so I try to inform buyers the best I can.
Also ThemeForest support team prepared a page to help with that.

My twitter widget does not consistently work in the footer. It will show and then if I refresh the site it goes to “page not found”
Can you possibly add Pinterest to the social icons and widget? I don’t see a way to add one to the Social media widget for the sidebar.

OK, please enter just your username to the Username field in the widget’s options, not the URL .
There are 2 different widgets. The social media widget in the sidebar asks for url. The twitter widget in the footer to display latest tweets asks for username. I have tried username with both the @ sign and without. Both work for a bit but then stop working. Right now it is working again so will hope for the best.
Just so I know… is the user name supposed to include the @ sign? Thank you!
The Social media widget, is a list of icons, with any links you like attached to them, while the Twitter stream widget works directly with the Twitter service, so it requires different approach.
I agree it may be misleading, so I’ll make it more flexible in understanding user’s name in the next version.
Anyway, don’t include @, as it’s not part of your username in fact.

Ok, thanks for clearing that part up. Now, the twitter bird is missing from the Twitter Stream in the footer.
I changed the icons in the bright>social folder but that would only affect the widget for the Social Media Widget, right? That one was the “t” and not the bird. Any thoughts?

No Twitter feed and when I click on it…says “page not found”

It will finally pull it up if I go into the widget and save it again.I can see Twitter widget works fine on your site. It’s just missing the bird, which you said removed. Images in posts are not displaying on the site. They are visible in the admin and not on the site. On the site all it shows is a grey line where the image is supposed to be.

It seems as though ( using the full page slider ) my slider images are being stretched to 250px tall. Is there a way to reduce the height of the slider, say to 150px?

I’ve purchased your theme 2 days ago. Now I wonder wether it’s possible to establish a child theme for useful change of the main theme (mainly CSS ). Or is any CSS relevant change to be made within the website options advanced section where you embedded an area for custom made CSS styles? And is there a possibility to incorporate spreadsheets via shortcoding?

Hi Mat,
there is Custom CSS field in Theme Options / Advanced, which I recommend to use. If you know how to create child themes, you can of course, but I think Custom CSS field works just fine.
