I am sorry for not doing a very extensive search for this problem on this possible FAQ . But I couldn’t find it in the documentation. I have the problem that right under the posts I place I get this php error:
Warning: sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments in /home/rawchina/domains/rawchinaexpo.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/website/drone/dronetheme.class.php on line 2

Now I’ve looked at the code but I cannot discover where the mistake is. Problem is that “line 2” is not really an indication of where the mistake can be found

Hello! I just purchased this theme and am very excited to start playing with it… but one of the first things I wanted to do I can’t figure out. I would like for the front page to just feature my latest/featured post, not all of my posts. I’ve tried changing the settings through “Front Page” in Theme Settings, but no luck. If you need me to ask this elsewhere, let me know… I wasn’t sure where to ask.

if you use blog page as a front page, frontpage settings doesn’t affect that. You can specify number of posts to display in the Settings / Reading section.

Thanks for your help! One more question… Is there a way to control the size of the boxes shortcode? Right now the boxes span the width of the page. How would I make it less wide, like the examples here: http://themes.kubasto.com/website/shortcodes/

You can place it in a column (shortcode), or play with the CSS to change the width (now it’s 100% of the parent element).

What is the difference between the Main Menu and the Top Menu please? Where are each displayed on the demo?
Main menu is the one which contains “Home, Features›, Portfolios›, Galleries” etc… on the demo site.
Top menu is the one with “Color schemes›, My other themes…” and a phone number.
Both menus are customizable and switchable.
Can site visitors make comments on Pages?
Yes, if you enable this option.

Post page I can use “Read More” function, but I could not use it in page. Is it possible to do it in page?

WordPress doesn’t have this feature (there is no point, in fact, because there is no place pages are listed like posts).

I uploaded some pictures into Media library for posting images in the page, but automatically went to gallery…Then I get rid of the picture from gallery…then uploaded images in media library was deleted, too…
Is there any way I can keep images without having images in gallery…
You can exclude some images from the gallery. It’s described n the theme documentation.

Now edit page (in the HTML editor mode) which contains the gallery and add the exclude parameter to the gallery shortcode with the ID’s separated with commas E.g.:
[gallery columns=”4” exclude=”32,40”]

because I only need one h1-headline on every page. What is the best way to do that? I don’t know too much about php, so i don’t want to mess up the code…

Hi,
this kind of modifications are beyond free support. Anyway, if you try to have just one H1 tag because of SEO , don’t do that. It’s HTML5 , and many H1 tags on one page is perfectly fine.

I noticed that the title of a post changes its position depending on the post format. For instance, a standard post title flows to the right of the thumbnail, but every time I specify a format such as image, the title will show above the thumbnail instead of to the right of it.
Is there a way to make it so that all titles show to the right of the thumbnails regardless of the post format?

image post format uses 100% width image, so there is no space for title in the same line.

I am trying to create a new menu in Appearance > Menus, but each time I try, it hangs when I am adding Pages (or anything) to the new menu. The little circle just goes round and round. If i quit out of the page, nothing was saved. Any thoughts? Thanks so much, megan

Clearly, I’m a novice, so I apologize. I’m trying to link my blog with my facebook, twitter, and RSS feeds/pages and can’t figure out what URL ’s I should be using… can you direct me? Also, the “icons” aren’t showing up in my sidebar widget at all, do they not show up until they are connected to a URL ?

make sure you configure widget completely (specify icon, title and url for each one). The link depends of the service.

Two more questions. In the theme explanation it showed that it came with a bunch of different social icon options but I can’t find them anywhere. And secondly, are you able to change the color of the background, without uploading a custom background? When I change the color field in the “appearance”, under the custom background option, nothing changes… it stays a light grey color. Please advise.

1. There is a very long list of icons to use, when you configure the widget.
2. Make sure you check “use custom background”, besides specifying the color.

as a follow up i can see the code for the class=”filter” on the page source but it is not showing in the browser
could it be something to do with the class=”items tiny clear” below it? if not is the issue in the filter class?..

Perhaps I am missing something but is there any way to get text to show up on gallery pages? I am entering text that describe the contents of the gallery but nothing shows up.
Nope. The only text above gallery you can us is a breadcrumb.
