Just browsed through the template and must say that you provide a great selection of ready-made templates. Everything you can think of: 404, pricing, contact, ... it’s there, right in the box! Great value for money, end nice looking too! Haven’t tested it on tablet/smartphone. I bookmarked it, and have a project in mind where it might be exactly what is needed…

cmsmasters

Wow, thanks for feedback! We really tried to include anything one might need to setup a website fast. We also tried to keep the design clean to make it be suitable for many. We hope this template will once help you build a great website!

Hi I’ve only used Wordpress themes before (I mean from Themeforest), so please excuse the basic question but … I would like to display content from a mySQL data into a page, using your theme. I assume there won’t be a problem with this right? It’s just like a normal HTML template?

Thanks, Tony

cmsmasters

Hi, Tony. Thanks for your interest.

Yes, this is nothing more than an ordinary HTML5 template, a raw material for one’s site. Just PSD’s and code which developer can use as site’s skeleton and convert it into WordPress or another CMS.
Thus if purchasing WhiteBlack template, you get the archive with PSD’s, HTML files and the documentation – “Site Template Help” with brief template functions’ and code description.

Further elaboration requires coding skills and should not cause any problems for a professional – basically you can embody any wish, but if you’re not quite sure of how to go about it, there is a WordPress version here for your consideration. :)

Sounds good. Is the HTML template responsive? I mean, if I put-up the template would it immediately be responsive on a cell phone? or would more work be required?

cmsmasters

Yes, it is responsive by default. No need in extra coding :)

Hi , In IE 10 compatibility mode Social media links (social_block ) in the top not looking ok. Can you please help me to fix this issue.

cmsmasters

Hi! Thanks for using Whiteblack. As to IE10 compatibility mode – in fact it is a mode to check a cross-version compatibility of a website. But the old versions of IE have many performance problems. Our themes are compatible with IE versions up to IE8, but not older.

Default-user

Thanks for Replay. Is there any way to show social_block correctly in compatibility mode also?

cmsmasters

Compatibility mode by default displays compatibility for up to IE ver.7. You can change this in settings and see if the problem persists (set it to the version of 8 or higher). If the problem persists, please contact our support for help, but please note that there still be some specifics in the way elements are displayed for this version of IE.
Thank you!

Why such a beautifully, tastefully, gracefully and exceptionally designed template rich with features hasn’t sold more than 29 copies?!!! Why no comments from any buyer in the comments section?? What’s wrong?

Are you going to update this template soon (or ever)?

Do you still provide support for this template?

Does the contact form work?

cmsmasters

It is so great to hear your feedback :) especially when we just like you wonder why the sales are so weak for it. Really, thanks a lot for that, it is always great to hear the work you’ve done is appreciated.

Sure, we do provide support for this item :) and the contact form it has is workable (you will just need to add your email there). As to the update – it is currently updated to the latest version it has, but should there occur a need for a next update – it will get it, no doubt.

High fives!

In fact, I would like to show more appreciation by purchasing it! :)
But I have a few questions and need a few clarifications:

1. First of all, I am in two minds between the HTML site-templates “Increase” and this one “WhiteBlack”. Both are yours. Which one is better, especially in terms of code quality and seo, in your opinion?

2. I need working ‘Site-search’ box on top of every page (having a matching look and feel) and a result page of course. But I don’t see any search-box on the home pages of either of the templates. What can I do?

3. I would love to animate the text blocks in homepage (e.g. ‘Responsive’, ‘Functionality’, ‘Perfect SEO’, etc and the service items in the Service page) – on-scroll (or mouseover if on-scroll is not possible at all), so that they grab attention attractively. Or perhaps animate (and link to another page) the ‘Colored Blocks’ on-scroll. Is this possible? Is there any simple code for doing this?

4. Is there a full-width/boxed choice in any of these templates?

5. Is it possible to add custom fields/input boxes/drop-down/radio buttons/captcha in the contact forms? Do you have any send-confirmation page here?

6. Can I change/add background color/image?

That’s all. Phew! :)

cmsmasters

Hi again :)

Thanks for being interested in our templates! In fact both Whiteblack html and Increase html are the newest templates release, and they both do correspond the most contemporary requirements for code and SEO. They are pretty much the same in terms of quality and functionality, the biggest difference is in design, so please go ahead and choose according to your personal preferences.

In fact most of your other questions do make us think it would be better for you to use a WordPress version for any of these products rather than a html one, as everything you describe is much easier to implement in a wordpress version.

HTML templates are recommended to use only if you are a skilled developer and can easily deal with code – in such a way you can easily make it boxed/fullwidth, add backgrounds etc. HTML templates are also usually used for the websites that do not have frequent content updates and have only very few pages.

As to the search – to be implemented, search function requires a database, which is absent for html-template based websites. Database is created when a website is CMS-based, like a WordPress one.

Of course, in a html website you will be able to implement many changes, like adding color or image background, you will only need to change this i code. On the other hand, in a WP version this is done in a couple of clicks.

Please make sure you are buying exactly a solution you need – the one where all changes are implemented via code and which requires certain coding skills, or the one with a admin panel that lets you do this without dealing with code. We will eagerly answer your question should you have any about this or any other our product :)

Thank you!

Hi

Please forgive me for another l-o-n-g reply! This is the final one.

I may (or may not) have given a bit of wrong impression. I do know how to change background image or color! :) I don’t know why I asked that, perhaps because other templates offer easy style switcher or something like that. I thought your template also has that. I can also easily add a google custom search (cse)/sitesearch or any other free sitesearch, and I don’t mind the ads in the result pages since it’s my personal site. I would have preferred ad-free searches, but yes, creating or maintaining the backend technology for this is not possible for me.

You’re right, I am not a skilled developer. But I think I know basic html, a bit of css (very little though) and a bit of javascript. I don’t mind reading up tutorials etc and learn more. And I think I can tweak other peoples’ code a little bit. It may take a bit of time and effort, but I don’t mind that.

I don’t want to flood you with questions or support-requests. I don’t think I will need that much support. I hope I will be able to work through your code on my own. But, can I expect specific support from you if I get absolutely stuck somewhere?

Specifically, I am worried about the following three things:

1. I tried Google CSE searchbox with somebody else’s free html5 template. It worked fine, but I just couldn’t make it seamlessly and perfectly match the ‘look and feel’ of that template’s top menu bar. If by any chance this happens with your template, would you be able to help me in tweaking it so that it matches the ‘look and feel’ of your template’s top menu-bar?

2. I would like to add custom fields etc to the contact form, but I am not familiar with ajax/json/sql etc. If helping in this is beyond the purview of your support policy, then I can use a free form from Emailmeform.com . No problem. I don’t know though if that will be ‘responsive’ and mobile friendly. Let me know if you know.

3. Finally, the on scroll animated colored text boxes. I would appreciate if you have any ready-made code for this, if not that’s fine. Hopefully I will be able to figure it out by searching the net.

I considered Wordpress. The reason I am not choosing it is because I know almost nothing about it – less than I know about html sites. I installed it once and tried a couple of free themes, but I did not feel comfortable. It felt quite strange and confusing to me. I don’t think I have the focus or patience to learn and get comfy with it, whereas I already know at least enough barebone html to get a basic site up and running quite quickly. In fact, I already have one like that. I need a template to update and upgrade that.

So do you think you can provide help/support/advice or whatever to whatever extent of your choice, when and IF I face any problem in the aforementioned last three points? :)

cmsmasters

Thanks for writing back :)

In fact we have no doubt you will be able to setup your website using an HTML template. But most of your questions described are so easy to solve via wordpress. For instance, you can add any type of a field to your form in one click, set validation for data etc. You say you don’t know much about wordpress – in fact we have customers who don’t even know what HTML is, and they succeed creating great wesbites with our themes, using all the visual editing functions we have there. On the other hand, html templates are a sort of a raw product that are meant to be taken by developers who want to either use them for a different cms, or have a decent development knowledge.

Nevertheless, you are welcome to choose any type of product you like, there is no way we are trying to compel you to make a wrong choice – our goal is to just make sure you consider all the benefits and possible difficulties. As to the questions you are asking, in fact they are beyond of support policy, but should there be something you might need a hand on – we can take a look at it to try to point you in a right direction. You can contact our support team via ticket system, just please allow some time for the support guys to review the request.

Thank you!

I don’t know code. I’m looking for a website template that I can easily customize with our logo, info, colors, get rid of things I don’t need, drag & drop. Is this possible with this template? I love the look and feel of it. I don’t need much to start, a homepage, a couple of info pages, a bio page, contact page and room to add more pages and possibly a video or two. Please advise if this template is easy to use for a non- programmer?

Thank you for being interested in WhiteBlack!

As to your question about the skills required – in fact if you are considering to buy an HTML template, you need to have at least a basic understanding of html and css. This applies to an HTML template with no exception. Any element on a website that is created with an HTML template id added in code, so you need to a least understand what you are doing, when you want to add some content, move, resize, edit color etc.

On the other hand, you can use a WordPress version for WhiteBlack – as this is the one that has an admin panel and visual editing, You do not need to understand code at all to use Wordpress admin, as it has an intuitive user-friendly interface. See Whiteblack WordPress.

Please make sure you make a right choice choosing between Wordpress and HTML. Basically, for a simple website like you describe you will need to apply only minor changes to the code, move code parts etc. If you at least have understanding of html syntax, this may ne enough, but is you are completely unfamiliar with it, we would recommend choosing WordPress version. This applies to any HTML template.

Thank you, should there be any other questions please feel free to ask!
