After installing the Theme, a fatal error message appears after the first post:

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in .../wp-content/themes/whitelite/includes/custom-pings.php on line 15

I need help to understand what’s wrong. The ‘faulty’ line is:

$comments_by_type = &separate_comments(get_comments('post_id=' . $id));

Could anybody please lend me some help? TIA , guido

I like this template but have a couple of queries:

Can the advert image at the top be made taller? Can it contain an image with imagemap hyperlinks? How does the Calendar link in with the posts?
