This looks fantastic! just wondering a couple of things
1) the front page slider – how much text is available for inclusion here? there seems to be only a small amount currently, but I’m assuming you can have both titles and text (inline/html as well?) for this?
2) homepage flexibility – is this a bunch of widgets, or is it all custom built? how much more stuff can I place on this page, specifically widgets?
3) can I have a few of those ‘Recent work’ sliders on the front page (all calling content from different categories)?

1. Currently it only allows for text (the title of the slider custom post type). I wanted to keep the slider pretty minimal for this one. I can add support for html in the future if people start requesting that feature.
2. No widgets on the homepage. It’s custom built with some options in the admin panel. I will be making a video really soon showing you exactly how to use the homepage.
But it would be pretty easy to add a widgetized area somewhere.
3. Currently it’s built just to show your latest posts from the portfolio custom post type. It wouldn’t be too difficult to add another slider to your code if you are familiar with HTML and WP.

Ummm…Good questions. But I am cool with $30. I want more people to be able to afford and enjoy my themes. Money is important for me, but sharing with the WP community more so.

I’ve never bought a $30 theme on TF only because I feel they’re missing something I’d rather have for the extra $5 but I appreciate your standpoint.

What is the best way to change the background image? Also, what fonts are used?
You should be able to change the background going to Appearance—> Background.
The theme uses a couple Google Fonts…
Logo = Coustard Headings = Oswald
You can see both of these called in your stylesheet at the top:
The main font is just Arial.

It could have been my server running a bit slow due to a traffic spike. But I tested with google and it had a a page speed of 80+.
If you do change the background it will run much faster.

Can I use .swf files in the Slider?
The Slider is an image only slider (NivoSlider). It only support images. Alternatively you can set up a video (embedded or self-hosted) as seen in the demo.
If you can convert your video from flash to MV4 you can use the homepage self-hosted vide alternative as shown in the demo : http://wpexplorer.com/premium/woodstock/home-sh-video/

Am I the only one who feels ripped off? I guess a lot of files are missing. It has nothing on the screen after I installed. All pages are gone.

hi, I’m sorry but my english is not very good, I’m from Germany. First: I’m excited about your theme, so far everything has worked out the enirchten. I still have a question about the portfolio-theme: In the example on your website you can click through the portfolio categories with no load times, there also does not change the url. Inviting me to the new page for each click on one of the categories. You know how to fix this? Many thanks and keep it up! Friitz

First thank you for your purchase! I am glad you like it so far.
Setting up the filterable portfolio page is really simple. All you need to do is create a new page and select the “portfolio” template.

I did everything exactly like in your video, but there remains the problem is nothing happens. when I described how I create a portfolio and the portfolio side, then go appears, as it should, the gray bar. However, there is no “filter” but “browse” inside the home and on a blank space appears portfolio. now be displayed next to “browse” the other portfolio categories. when I click on one of the categories, then it’s as if you clicked on a link. The category will then display correctly, there were only loading time, unfortunately, so the page reloads and does not like you at the briefing, where, when you click on a category, the page changes without loading time. I hope you’ve seen me with my English not so good.:D Can you help me? I suspect it is related to “jquery” together somehow. knows it is not. Many thanks for your help. friitz.
