Hi Mate, your setup help is not clear enough

esp. Homepage Showcase Settings (step 6)

Hi! I write you on your email, maybe you didn’t received it. I’ve read your help.html but I don’t know how to put the link url of the images to appear in the homepage. I’ve done this: “Add a new post from under Posts tab, enter your excerpt (Write the description of work), select Portfolio and Subcategory as categories (Like you did in step 2). Click on Add an image, upload your 494px x 244px sized showcase image, and get the Link URL (Full path of your showcase image)”…

I don’t understand this: “Now we are going to add this Link URL as a custom field to show it on homepage showcase. Add this Link URL with showcase name variant.”—> where I’ve to put the link url

please make at least this last step more clearer. Thanks

Hey rhinocorp,

All you have to do, in the “Edit Post” page, below the main editing section, find “Add new custom field:”. Click the dropdown list and select “showcase”. Then paste the URL of the particular showcase image (that is available in the individual image’s details in the library).

Hey Akay…great theme. Appreciate your good work. I think this theme breaks under php 5

I was customizing this and everything was fine. Then realised I was still using php 4 on the server I was working on.

I then switched to php 5, and now I am getting this error on the homepage:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /nfs/c05/h04/mnt/76870/domains/teengamercorps.com/html/wp-content/themes/wordfolio/header.php on line 59

I switched back to a clean (unmodified) version of the theme and I still get the error.

When I switch back to php 4 it works fine. Any thoughts on what this is, and how to upgrade the theme for php 5?

Hi, I’m planning to use your theme, but i need to know if i can use this template for a multilanguage site… or othrwise if i can use the image scroller in different pages with different information.

Hi, I’ve seen that there are problems with PHP 5 my provider installed PHP Version 5.2.13 do you think that I’ll have problems ?

Hey peoples…no problem with PHP 5 . The above error happens when you don’t input a post category id in the settings for both the blog & portfolio categories.
