during these last 5 months I’ve been through some personal problems, now everything is back to normality
I really apologize with everybody and I’m so sorry that you guys didn’t get any support from me for a so long period.

I’m sure it is possible, at least within pages and posts content… maybe for other positions (footer, header) some styiling would be needed, but I guess you need the adsense within the posts…

Sure, there are many plugins for social sharing… like ShareThis and the AddThis ones (we use AddThis markup for the header).

I forgot to mention that with a simple tweak in a file (that I can explain to you easily) you can make the actual social sharing on the header to share the current page, so in this case you wouldn’t need any plugin to share your specific contents.

you’re welcome.
That would be possible with a little effort. Identify a social network you don’t need and then open the pk2011_accordium/parkerandkent2011/images/theme/social_networks_icons/ folder.
Find the icon image of the not needed social network and replace it with a 16×16 pinterest icon, but keep the original name. So if you replace the picasa_16.png image keep this name, also if it displays the pinterest icon.
When done go in the admin and add a new social network to the site (like you’ve done for the others), so select picasa and add the URL of your pinterest profile.
Is this enough clear?

yes, you can add it to the sidebar. Click on the Appearance -> Widgets section in the WP admin and drag the search widget into the Sidebar – All sidebar.
The search form then will appear in the sidebar, by clicking on the + icon above the menu.

Sorry Parker, my last question. As you’ll see in my project http://www.nicolassieber.com/wordpress At the entering page (in my project is the works page) the height of the rows of the row list is taller than at the beginning. The small images (90×70px) identifying each project aren’t vertical centered. Is there a way to set the row height back to the initial height? Cheers

Hi Parker. Great theme. Just one question that would be a huge time saver if you can answer it. I use Mars Edit 3 to write and publish my posts, and my intention is to not have to log into my site at all to publish. At the moment, I have to log into my site to change ‘Auto add post attachments to the slider’ from ‘No’ to ‘Yes’, or else my gallery image doesn’t show up. Which bit of code do I have to edit to make ‘Yes’ the default instead of ‘No’? Many thanks. My site is http://www.kanefulton.com.

Hey, Reposted from a few months back…......
Thanks a lot, awesome theme. Just a couple of points though. when trying to access my works page 2, it only works if I am logged in. Accessing it otherwise I just get a 404 error. “mysitename”.co.uk/base is my works/ home page. “mysitename”.co.uk/base/2/ is what returns the 404 error when I am not logged in. when it works i get “mysitename”.co.uk/page/2/ when logged in…...any ideas? the blog moves to page 2/3 etc just fine. thanks in advance,
PS some new thoughts – excuse my ignorance but what about static html plugins, would this affect the performance of the pages ( would they literally be static and not move as per normal) The reason I ask is that the pages sometimes take a while to load and I want to try and speed things up.

could you give me a link so I can see the problem with the works pages? It’s a strange problem, as you can see on the preview here everything works fine and the fact if you’re logged or not shouldn’t make any difference
Are you using any plugin?
Regarding your new question, you can try some cache plugins… I never tried one with the Accordium. In any case, it’s better to work on your .htaccess file on the server root than using these plugins… if you google about “wp themes optimization” you will find some useful information about the argument. Remember that any method you will use won’t make any difference if your server is slow… especially if you’re on a shared server.

in the psd folder of the download package you’ll find buttons_sidebar_sprite.psd.
Edit the psd and export buttons_sidebar_sprite.png with the new colors.
Once done, replace this png into the parkerandkent2011/images/theme/button_icons folder of your theme.
