WordPress Aid: Charity + Blog Theme

Hi there Chris, I just bought your theme here because it looks good. I installed my theme and it looked broken, but I was familiar that this is not a problem with the theme. The formatting was bad because I had to set certain things manually to make it work.

Briefly, what you’re missing in your theme is the procedure to follow in order to make the theme functional. Namely, the user has to:

1) Import sample content from xml file. 2) Set the main navigation menu to “Main” and footer menu to “Footer”. 3) Set all the right options in Appearance>Theme Options.

I’m not new to Wordpress and I never bought a theme that doesn’t have that. So please, update the file and make sure you add such a procedure from now on. I just wasted 1.5 hrs trying to make the theme work and I’m sure you’ve wasted other users’ time because of the lack of an adequate procedure.

I haven’t worked with the theme yet, but I hope I won’t have surprises. Otherwise, great looking theme and good job!

Awesome theme and I’m probably buying it this week for a new project.
I was just wondering if the notification box could be hidden by session and not by cookie.
I would like to be able to use it as some sort of live update notification, so when the content of the Notification is changed/edited in the backend, I want users to be able to see it when they refresh/visit a page.
Would this be a major change or do you think it is (somewhat) easy to achieve?

I uploaded the XML and Theme Options string, but it gives me an error when I try to upload the layout options? also can’t get the slider working.

Good day, I’ve updated the site as I need, except that the logo is missing me, and and tried with various sizes and I have not seen results. and do not know how you can see I also would like the news column were wider, where it is modified, not find it. I leave the site to see it through.

Hi Chris. Theme looks good. Just wanted to give you a friendly heads-up that you may or may not already be aware of:

You need to remove the Red Cross logo from your theme as it is trademarked.

It looks like it’s being used in the header logo, for example.

Just thought you might want to know.
