I’m having problems displaying Cyrillic alphabet letters, ?,š, ? , ?… etc
Is there any way to fix it?

Hi,
that’s because the cifon font replacement actually doesn’t include cyrillic characters. You can both disable cufon or embed the characters needed… also if I’m not sure if the font we used has a set of cyrillic characters.
To disable cufon, in the jscript/pk.js file comment/delete these intial lines:

a couple of months ago, I don’t remember exactly. Just check the theme version in the Cadca options page in the WP admin. The current version is 2.0.1

i am having trouble adding images on the Home page rotator
I followed the instructions on the documentation under Cadca rotator. If i understand well the only way for the rotator to display the image is when i upload the image on the FTP and give the url to the rotator?
Is there a way to add images to the home page rotator through wordpress?

sorry for the long wait, but I had some family problems last week… sure you can upload the images using the WP media library, but in any case you have to paste manually the URLs of the images into the rotator options page.

Can I remove the underlines that are added to text in a list_arrows UL list when I make items into links? The links acquire a 2nd underline that messes up the lines that are already built into the UL style. Please describe how to do this. thank you

It’s been 8 months since I installed this theme and I really enjoy it. However, since upgrading to WordPress 3.3, the menu no longer behaves the same way in the homepage. I saw it on Safari 5 for Mac, IE9 for PC and Chrome 16 for PC.
You can see it on the home page of this site, and only on home page, the behavior of the menu that highlights three topics. Please see here : http://www.5as1.com/
Is this a bug with the update? If so, do you think you will make a patch?

that probably depends on the hierarchy of the pages you added to the menu, probably they have some relations and so they get highlightened all together. I would need to check your menu structure to understand, send me an email with your WP admin login and I’ll check it out.

Also what is the correct size of images to use in the Cadca Rotator… i seem to loose a bit of quality and in some cases it seems like you have the same problem as well.. (look at link above)
I use exactly the same width and height as the display in the rotator (940×465)

Hi,
if you’re using the WordPress menus (Appearance -> Menus in the admin) you can create a custom link as top level button and just set an anchor # for the link field.

that’s strange. Did you make any change to the theme files? Eventually you can upgrade to the latest version of the theme to be sure to have all the previous bug fixed.

Hi there, I purchased this theme a while ago and looking at my site which I have not looked at for a while http://www.naderphotography.co.uk
My portfolio page seems not to display all of the images within the portfolio, only the first and when you click on this it shows a normal image in the browser.
The only difference is that I had to update the timthumb script to get over the hacking issue that I had across all of my sites.
Please could you let me know what i must do to rectify this bearing in mind that I am not that good at the code side of things

Hi,
I see that you have updated the jquery version of the theme to 1.6.1, but you still have the original prettyPhoto version included with the package, that doesn’t work with the jquery version you’re using. To solve, you should update prettyPhoto too to the latest version. Download it from here http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/ and update only the Cadca/jscript/prettyPhoto/js folder.

I have done this but this is what has happened?

it works perfectly.
If you go to your portfolio page the thumbnails all open the lightbox and all the images are visible. The #!prettyPhoto499/0/ you see is a deep link created by prettyPhoto. Basically it creates a specific link to each image so you can link directly to a gallery image. This is a new feature not available before, really useful in my opinion.
I don’t see any image sticking out of the frames, try emptying your browser cache and check again the http://www.naderphotography.co.uk/portfolio-2/ page. Everything looks fine to me

I have some trouble adding photo in the homepage slider, I follow your istruction to add photo in the Cadca Rotator, I set Home as Homepage, I paste manually all the URL of the photos I load in my server, but still they don’t appear.. I also tryed with your default option but still don’t work..

you don’t see the images because you’re loading the images from my preview and timthumb can’t load images from external servers.
In the Cadca -> Home Page Rotator options just set your images that must be on your server.

Hi Parker, I have tried again but when you roll over you mouse onto a portfolio image it then throws out a string of images that in the thumbnails run off the image and are not constrained, for example I can see 20 thumbs that are outside of the image bounding box. I have cleared cache and viewing on Safari and Firefox and both the same?
You have to click on an image in the portfolio section for example fashion and then the gallery will show 12 images for example but across the page?

Hi James,
sorry for the delay. As I said in my previous post probably you’re talking about the thumbnails of the prettyPhoto plugin, that aren’t related to the theme, they are created by the plugin.
If this is the case let me know and I’ll tell you eventually how to remove them, if that’s something possible
