Hey i’m having trouble with the instructions to display the photos on the home page. am i supposed to download a gallery plugin? there are zillions of them. can’t get the slideshow to work (that is on your demo).
No plugin required. Just upload the images to the featured post and you’re done
Quick question from someone who’s considering buying this.. can I change the size of the images on the home page slide show?

There isn’t an option in the theme settings if that’s what you mean. It would require some tweaking of the CSS /PHP to change the size of elements.

You can create as many gallery pages as you want.
The thumbnails on the gallery page represent the image, not additional galleries though.
I would recommend making the additional gallery pages a sub page of the “gallery” page. That way when you hover over “gallery” in the menu, the drop down will display those additional gallery pages.

ok for the dropdown and subpages of “gallery” but when open the gallery page is possible to have a list of thumbnails whit a little description of the sub-gallery pages ? if not I think I can resolve this whit an external plugin ?
You can add text above and below the gallery code on the page to add your description.
love the theme, but I can’t seem to get the slider to work on the home page. uploaded images to the home page and inserted the gallery, and they’re all just sitting there as static thumbnails. help! http://slaythelizard.com/
By default, the home page with the slider is not an actual page that you need to create.
The slider displays images from posts in a specific category that you specify on the theme settings page, so you’ll want to remove your current page from the home page on the “reading settings” page.

any limitations to the size of the photo inserted in gallery ?
For the gallery page, the lightbox system will resize the image to fit within the browser window, but will have a “view full size” link if users want to see the original dimensions and resolution of the photo.
today I decided to purchase your theme and now go to set it, all work fine. but it’ possiblle to block the download in the right-click when images pop up ? and another hint if possible: is possible remove the link from the slider in home page ? I would use it for only just a slider slideshow without post anything..

The right-click menu is not controlled by the theme. That is an operating system (i.e. Windows or Mac OSX ) menu.
On the post edit screen, if you enter ”#” in the custom link field, it will deactivate the link
ehm… where is custom link field ? I have only “custom post options”...
In the “custom post options”, there is a “Featured Item Link”. If you don’t see this, download the latest version of the theme from your downloads page (theme updated 06/03/10).

ok solved, deactivated, deleted the theme and remake all. now works fine, only one thumbnail in a post dont’work but isn’t a problem.. come out with “image unavaliable”
