WordPress Chameleon

Can widgets (specifically categories) be added to the side of the blog page? I don’t want to put my long list of categories at the bottom.

Cool theme! Is there a simple way to only show pages and sub pages on the homepage without having the default “no categories” text appear?

I am totally loving your designs, I am seriously considering buying your templet for my site. I have one question for you, On the solid header I see you have infinite colour palette option but can one place an image there instead of using a solid colour?

I love this track and I’m thinking of buying. It is possible create more than one gallery? It is possible sort the items in a personal way?

Great theme, but for some reason the slider isnt working correctly.

Post images are appearing, but they are not showing on the main homepage! Any idea’s on this?

I have deleted the theme and re-installed it, the only thing that has changed is that im using version 3.0 of wordpress!

for the home page slide just copy & paste the link of image in “custom image” section, assign the category that you use for “slide” in theme options and all work fine

Hi Chris, I’ve just update Chamelon to 2.0 all work fine in WP3 , but when I load the site I’ve got a failure errors in console (safari) try to explore header.php and notice that:

“ /demo.css” type=”text/css” media=”screen” />”

I’m looking inside theme folder but don’t have this file, so I rename the “link rel” to style.css, but at this point all tags becomes in “blue”

modified style.css here: /* —-A TAG STUFF -— */ a {text-decoration:none; color:White;} a:hover {text-decoration:underline;}

and now all works good.

Awesome theme!! I have it installed and have just 2 small problems. Here is the link to the site so you can see what I am talking about.

1. I created a category called ‘slider’ for the home page slider. When I add it’s ID# to the menu exclude in the options panel, it displays ‘No Categories’ in the menu instead. Not sure why that’s happening.

2. I am using a custom logo file and have changed the width to the appropriate size in the options panel but it seems to be displaying the logo justified to the left instead of centered.

I don’t know anything about code or widgets or html or anything, but I’d really like to use this theme for my artist website. Your video is really informative & helpful.

The images on the live preview are long horizontal rectangles. My paintings are not that long on the horizontal and half of them are vertical. I’m wondering how they will display using this theme? Will they display in their actual shapes, will they be cropped or will they be centered in the horizontal rectangles with white space around them?

Again, I don’t know what I’m doing, so please speak slowly.

I’m still learning, but can you tell us how to make the text you used in your example widgets highlight (when they are rolled over) and how to insert the line dividers? It’s like in the Chameleon contact section or the recent post section.

Hi Chris, I’ve a little problem: selecting a blog-child category example “alpha” I’ve the result of the all article contained in it and this is just right.

but “evidenced” don’t work for article.

I think that it’s happen because this is a category and not a page, but how can resolve this ?

pratically don’t work the wordpress functions “featured” for article used for mantain an article at the first place. I think don’t work because the”blog” and his child categories are Categories in blace being pages.

the questions is : Can I have a post featured in a category page? I try without succes.

Hi I know I have seen this question answered somewhere on the forum but can’t find it now. How do you add extra images to the slider? I would like to use about 6 images at the slider and 6 dots, thus only one more. Can this be done?

I know your answer was: “Due to the design of the site, the home page is limited to 5 posts/images. This is a combination of aesthetics (tons of dots looks a little odd) and usability (lots of images takes a longer time to load the page).”

But I really need 6 insted of 5 dots/images. Please help me!
