I just purchased this theme and when I try to upload it to wordpress it is giving me an error message, saying it’s a broken theme and that the stylesheet is missing.

Please help! Thanks, Lindsey

Thanks for the updates. I think can be a nice idea to put the release date… :)

I downloaded the latest version but in the WP indicates me as version 5 instead of 6.

theMOLITOR

If you downloaded recently, you have the latest version. I might have overlooked updating the version number in the CSS .

Sorry.. another question. Under WP 3 .0 I create a menu with this name “Main” like your suggestion but the final menu come with a strange CSS style… Take a look: http://www.bisericabaptistamilano.it/

Weird. I’ll look into this.

I hope soon :D

In the meantime, you can still use the old menu system built into the theme.

Ok. If can help under Appearance > Menus told me that: “Your theme supports 0 menus. Select which menu appears in each location.”

theMOLITOR

I appreciate the heads up, but that’s unrelated.

Hi What a fantastic theme! I love it! But….I think I have messed it up a little. Somehow, my navbar has dropped slightly. If you look at the menu between the header and the main content, it is lower than it was, and lower than in other site examples. Any ideas how I can fix this please? The site is: www.theincorruptibleword.org.uk. Thanks!

Thanks for purchasing!

Your new logo is pushing the nav bar down. You’ll want to adjust the padding for ”.pagenav” until it looks right.

Could you please inform me how I might turn the two-column home page into a single column setup? I only want to link news/events.

Thanks.

Additionally, I would like to display an entire post on the home page, not just a blurb. Thanks again. Great template.

Change “the_content_rss(’’, TRUE , ’’, 50)” to “the_content()”

Just purchase and love it… Question – Why does my development site show two copies of an article on the home page? I have two articles in the Pastor’s Blog and my mind tells me both of these articles should display on the home blog page. Any ideas?

Be sure to enter the categories in the theme settings page. After checking your link, it appears you fixed it.

Broken items under the “ShareThis” section on the full posts. It is displaying the following errors under the buttons:

Any help would be greatly appreciated with how to get rid of this. I’m trying to go live as quickly as possible.

HI I want to add a 5 star rating for you, but am having (another) daft moment….where on the Themeforest website can I add my rating for you?

theMOLITOR

I appreciate that!

You can rate the theme on your downloads page.

Hi, The church I am building the site for have asked if it is possible to remove the 3 doves in the header, and replace them with their church logo. is this feasible? Thanks again.

theMOLITOR

In order to reduce calls to the server, the doves are part of the “header.jpg” image.

If you open the PSD file, remove the doves and “copy merged” the top part, you can paste it over the original “header.jpg” file content.

Any help would be appreciated.

Question: How does this site keep “Verse of the Day” open?

http://www.villagechurchofmariemont.org/

The title does not have the wave effect which leads me to believe it is not actually a widget.

theMOLITOR

The plugin is generating the widget incorrectly. For troubleshooting, please use the appropriate support channels for that plugin.

Hi Any ideas why the expanable accordian menu on my site dosnt work when viewed in IE? It works fine in Firefox, Chrome etc, but not IE8 . I notice that other sites using this theme seem to be ok, but not mine, which is: http://www.theincorruptibleword.org.uk/ . Any thoughts? Thanks in hope!

theMOLITOR

I have a feeling it’s a faulty plugin. Try deactivating your plugins one-by-one to see if one might be the culprit.

Default-user

Thanks for the hint. I have checked the Plugins, and…..you were right….again. It was a JS Lightbox Plugin causing the problem. I have now replaced it with jQuery Colorox, which works a treat.

Don’t like IE anyway….more of a Firefox man…

Hey Great Theme!

I have a question though… How can I add a solid block of text on the home page (below the image slider and above the latest posts)?

I want a structure like this:

-Image slider -Block of text -Pastors Blog / News & Events

Is there a way to do this? Even if it pulls from a hidden post or page…

Thanks, Jon

theMOLITOR

Unfortunately there isn’t an easy theme option to achieve this. What you’ll want to do is open “index.php” and manually insert your block of text. I suggest using “p” tags and inserting it below the slider div.

Default-user

Thanks. That is what I was doing to begin with, but was hoping there was a way that others, who have no knowledge of code, would be able to update it (I won’t be maintaining this site).

I was trying to create a page then hide it from the menu. And then use some PHP code to call that page content to the home page. Similar to what you did with the post previews. That way they could just update and save the hidden page and it would be pulled to the front page.

Bought this theme a while back and love it, how do I go about updating to the latest version?

theMOLITOR

Your downloads page has a link to the most recent version :-)

Default-user

Yes, but when I try to install it on wordpress is gives an error that the destination folder already exists. Do I have to delete the old version and then install the new version? That seems odd.

theMOLITOR

Yes, because the files are already there, you need to replace them via FTP . I agree that this isn’t the best system for updating themes. Hopefully they will come up with a better option in the near future ;-)

Default-user

Yeah, it would be nice for them to have an easier way of updating. So here is the next questions I am sure you were expecting. Which files do I replace? All the ones in the new download in folder/wpchurch?

theMOLITOR

I recommend replacing all the theme files except the images folder (assuming you replaced the default logo image). Also, if you made changes to the CSS , you’ll want to note your changes and reapply them to the new CSS file (if applicable).
