Nice job with the logo
I’m pretty sure the problem lies with using version 2.6.2, not 2.7+, which is the version this theme was built on. I double-checked everything and it appears to be properly setup, so again, I would HIGHLY recommend upgrading. I also think the version you’re using is contributing to the issue you’re having with the pages not showing the footer properly. If you need help upgrading to version 2.7+, please check out this help page
If you cannot upgrade for whatever reason, try removing the google jQuery link and scripts.js link in the header (just below the “NOTE FROM THE MOLITOR ” ). This will remove the tool tip functionality, but might fix the featured gallery for older versions of Wordpress.
Dude! I am sorry but your theme just rocks! You did an amazing job setting this theme up for a church website. I am impressed. This is going to be fun getting this theme online. I especially love how you set up the categories for the news and pastors blog. I have a customer who chose another theme for their site and when they saw yours on the day I bought it, she sent me an email and said, ” I want the wordpress church theme. I know you already bought a theme, but I will pay for both. I want the other one.” Your customer service so far has been excellent also. Thanks for all the help.

themolitor,
so i’ve upgraded to the newest version of wp, but the featuredcontentgallery still isn’t wanting to work. my posts include the “articleimg” just like your instructions say but i’m still having trouble getting it to work.
also, i would like to make one of my posts “sticky” so it will be permanently displayed on the home page. this too isn’t working.
any ideas?
thanks, har42335

+8 more@har42335 – per my previous comment, try removing the google jQuery link and scripts.js link in the header (just below the “NOTE FROM THE MOLITOR ” ). After you remove this, test to see if the gallery works. If it doesn’t work after removing that code, I would recommend using the Featured Content Gallery forums to see if others have had similar problems with this plug-in.
I was unable to do this for you since the theme editor on your website wasn’t working properly either. I’m starting to think this issue has something to do with the permissions of your website or Wordpress installation.
Regarding the “sticky post”, the front page of this theme doesn’t function the same way as a traditional Wordpress site (i.e. there isn’t a single list of posts from all categories). Because it is using a category list, the “sticky” post feature does not apply. The featured section, however, replaces the need for “sticky posts” since it is meant to display items that need more exposure.
ok thanks for your willingness to help out again and again. i removed the links from the header and it is still not working, but i’ve posted a message on the forum to see if they can help.
once again, i love the theme and hope to see more of your work soon!

+8 more@shaftdiggy Categories will only show if you have posts assigned to a specific category.
Got it like 2 seconds after I posted. I’m not that familiar with wordpress but is it possible to put an event calendar widget on a “calendar page” without messing up the template and if so how?

To add a calendar, check out this plug-inTo see a working example of this plug-in with this theme, click here
Enjoy!
I’ve downloaded the plugin and have followed the directions but its not showing up on the calendar page and has somehow effected the main page featured section. What might I be doing wrong?

Make sure you put {CALENDAR} on the page you want the calendar to appear on (paste it into the visual editor, not the html editor). For styling, I recommend pasting the following CSS on the calendar options page: Click here for Calendar CSS fileThanks I have it all up and running, except for the calendar widget on the page you suggested I view. Thank you for all of your help!
I know you’re probably tired of me by now, but I installed the calendar and it works but it mess up the featured plugin on the main page. What might I need to change?
And it only does this in explorer…mozilla doesn’t have that issue, its fine
