+8 more@Sushii I’m looking into this now…
@lifesongworshipcenter the footer is at the bottom of every page, but if the page has little content, it will seem as though it is in the middle of the page (it’s really at the bottom though).

+8 moreUPDATE with drop down menu feature is ready for download!!!
I’m interested in the drop down menu feature. do just just re-download the zip again and re-ftp the theme folder into my wordpress folder like I did the first time around? are there new settings for it in the admin or do the drop downs automatically appear for pages that have children pages?

+8 more@cspinelive Thanks for your purchase!
Yes, just upload the folder like you did before. Couple notes:There are no new settings. The drop down automatically works for both pages and categories
worked like a charm. thanks. another question. any suggestions on how I might get the home page to look the same in firefox and IE? firefox seems to center everything where IE7 appears to be right aligned. It’s just the home page and it’s not really that bad, but I thought I’d ask. also the brown buttons are rounded in FF but not in IE.

+8 more@cspinelive I haven’t seen an alignment issue, but I’ll look into it. Regarding the brown buttons, they are using a CSS3 technique that IE doesn’t subscribe to (go figure). Once CSS3 becomes a W3 standard, all will be well with the world.
well the alignment thing is no longer happening. strange. thanks again.
This is one of the best website’s that the Pastor of Saint Emeric’s has purchased. It’s user friendly and very compatible.
I’m interested in upgrading to the drop down list. Does anyone know where I need to register to receive the upgrade?

+8 more@wvasquez Thank you for your purchase and kind words!
To receive the update, simply re-download the theme files from Theme Forest and upload them.
Hey themolitor…
Great template! I seem to have run into a problem. Using both Firefox and Safari (on both mac and pc), my site looks great. Our secretary and another staff member both run IE (the newest one I suppose). On their computers, the right content bar doesn’t position in the correct place. Vertically, it is in the right spot, but horizontally, it doesn’t start until below the main content area. Hopefully this makes sense.
Could it be my photo link and mini sermon player throwing off its alignment?
Thanks -Jeff

edit: I removed the two html links (the sermon player and image link), and the side bar remained in the same (wrong) place
Ok…I think I fixed it. At least on my wife’s vista laptop in IE, it is fixed. (I’m a coding noobie so forgive me if my terminology is wrong) I had to go into the style.css sheet and add “overflow:hidden;” in the first #sidebar command
sidebar { width:145px; othertag1:somevalue; othertag2:somevalue2; overflow:hidden; }
I got the fix here: http://www.thaiskale.com/journal/wordpress-three-column-theme-malfunction-in-internet-explorer-web-browser-column-sidebar-drops-down-in-ie-problem-and-solution/

Thank you for your purchase. The issue is caused by the widgets extending beyond the bounds of the sidebar. That’s why using “overflow:hidden” fixes it.
What is the biggest a widget can be without messing up the formatting?

The sidebar is currently set at a width of 270px with 25px padding all around, so the widgets have 220px width.
Great theme! Best one I’ve seen for churches yet.
Here is the issue I’m having with the quality of my header.jpg file…
Using the included PhotoShop file, i have customized the header by adding a picture of our building. (I have PhotoShop CS2 for Windows by the way.) I have selected the slice for the header and “Save for Web” as a jpeg on the maximum quality settings (maximum, 100).
When I replace the header.jpg file on the server, everything looks fine when the site is viewed in IE8 . However—when i view the site in Safari, my new header is a lighter color/lower-quality image than the original header.jpg file.
While under construction the site can be viewed at chrisgodby.com
Just wondering—what am I doing wrong? I’m glad it looks ok in IE, but I want it to look right in all browsers.
I do have access to CS3 if necessary. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Thanks for your purchase!
Make sure that your image mode is set to “RGB Color” under “Image” > “Mode”.
@themolitor it IS set to RGB color. What else can I try?
follow-up…
While i’m waiting for solutions, i have also tested my site in FireFox, and it looks fine there just like in IE8 . It seems that Safari is the only browser that is not correctly displaying the colors/quality of my customized header.jpg file. That goes for Safari Mac and Windows both.
If there’s another setting I could learn to make this work universally i’d apreciate the help. Thanks.
