WordPress FoodMe Restaurant Business Theme

Hi there,

This seems basic but I’m having trouble. I’m making a wedding website and I’m trying to add a “guestbook” section. I’m not sure how to do this. Can someone please help? Thanks!

yes, there’s a solution. First of all, to “beers” and “wine” add a new grouping category, let’s say “drinks”… the same for “meat” and “fish”… add “food”

Now your posts are categorized with a group category and a specific one… hope it’s clear.

Once you’ve done this, to the menu, by using the WP menu manager, add the categories “drinks” and “food”… each of them will show all the posts that belong to these categories and that belong to the sub categories too…

Hi Parker, there are two issues in this theme: First, all the categories will be seen in the products pages. No difference if you make new menu for specific categories, for example desert, you will see also the fish. It’s not selected on “Include products categories:” but you can see it. Second, if you make a new menu with let’s say “Deserts” and you have multiple pages (25 products – 3 pages) it will not navigate to next page.

I am having trouble importing the demo contents. When i try to use the wordpress importer, the plugin installs but when you actually go to import, the page goes blank except for the left admin sidebar.

Then I tried wordpress importer extended and uploaded the file to http://www.baciitalian.com/wp-content/foodme.xml. But nothing happens again when I try to import the file.

Im not sure where to go from here. Please Advise.

Hi friends, i’m new to wordpress but really dig the feel and functionality of this theme. I’m wondering if it’s possible to use a plugin to get the same effect as the home page but full screen pics that automate with some text over top..

Firstly great theme!

I’ve been working on this website using the food me theme

www.thepubhakuba.com

But if i try to view the page in IE – the background seeems to overlap all the other page elements (z-index issue?) and i can’t navigate the site at all.

Could you give me some suggestions about how i could modify the theme so that this doesnt happen in IE ?

For reference: it’s happening on IE version 8.0.76 on a computer running windows.

It seems to work great on FF and chrome on both mac and windows though.

Hi seems i have issue with the Reservation and Contact mail. it says, “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

Is this developer still alive? I’ve sent two messages about errors that are being caused from common plugins with this one of their themes, but nobody is responding. Very unprofessional for a paid theme service.

If they don’t want to provide any basic support or bug fixes for their theme, then it should be FREE . Unhappy customer.

Hi parker, I purchased this great theme but have a problem. I installed the demo content. The problem is in menu section categories comes with contents no problem with that but in ” all ” section, contents must be listed but none of them can not be seen. Can you help me?

during these last 5 months I’ve been through some personal problems, now everything is back to normality

I really apologize with everybody and I’m so sorry that you guys didn’t get any support from me for a so long period.

Parker I hope you are all right now. I have a question. Where can I setup the pager in products section? Is there a way not to have a pager every 5 products, but all the products in the same page?
