Can i integrate an advanced search feature? Also, can I add custom fields in the resume/job creation process? Naturally, I’d like to make these new fields searchable as well.

If this isn’t built in, will it be possible to do by editing the theme code?

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

Question: Can i integrate an advanced search feature?

Answer: We plan on adding support for the FacetWP plugin so you can add more advanced search features.

Question: can I add custom fields in the resume/job creation process

Answer: yes, when using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

Cheers! Adam

I installed the plugin wp manager job, when I add shortcode [submit_resume_form] for the ‘post a resume’ and when I get a page view following error: Fatal error: Can not redeclare non WP_Job_Manager_Form :: $ static as static steps WP_Resume_Manager_Form_Submit_Resume :: $ steps in/home3/luonglb/public_html/TIEP/blog1/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager-resumes/includes/forms/class-wp-resume-manager-form-submit-resume.php on line 1055. Can tell me how to fix it? Thanks you!

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

Question: some news for the registration form and compatibility with woo social login?

Answer: It will be added in the next theme update, we do not have a time of when it will be released.

Question: we need put in the registration form that people approve our privacy policy and terms and conditions

Answer: You must hire a developer to help you modify the registration modal window to add the privacy policy and terms and conditions agree checkbox. We highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable If you need help customizing your theme.

It seems like we are unable to change the homepage at all, from the basic design that is already there, due to the fact it’s controlled by pre-set widgets.

Is this correct?

If so, how do we create our own custom homepage????

Astoundify

We use widgets in our themes to build pages, for example, the home page, job listing pages are controlled by custom widget areas and design elements can be arranged in any way you wish. This replaces the need for Visual Page Builder plugins.

You can then create a custom homepage design that does not look like our demo.

There are many different designed widgets to make up a different design on the home page, listing pages, and blog pages.

Hello,

Is there a way to have the menu navigation in separate tabs or is it only one drop down menu with all the pages located in within that?

Astoundify

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

You can create as many drop-down menus you wish, you do not need to have one single drop-down.

Hi

Great theme, I am having problems to get site to look just like the dummy site. I have installed theme, installed and activated plugins, imported dummy content, and widget content.

Please let me know what to do next..

Hello,

Re: Jobify theme

My name is Aggie and I have a client in London who provides job skills training for students and wants a website. Each student would start with a ‘blank’ resume page and by the end of the course, all completed ‘modules’ would be visible on their resume. Your Jobify theme would be perfect, but we would need to restrict applicant’s access, so that they can apply for jobs, but can not edit their own resume. Also the layout of resume page would have to be customised. Would you guys consider coding for us a custom layout (we would provide a mock up, matching your UI)? If so how much would it cost to get your help in developing that custom Resume page and restricting applicants access?

Please do let me know asap. This could be an opportunity to working on other things as I have many clients in London.

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

Unfortunately, we just don’t have the resources to offer custom work right now. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP Curve, Envato Studio or Codeable If you need help customizing your theme.

Hi Adam,

I have a couple of other questions as well. When an employer chooses a package to post multiple jobs, how can they post these jobs without being redirected to the shopping cart to pick a package each time they try to make a post? When they already picked a package.

Is there a video tutorial of how employers can pick a job package and show how they can post their jobs once they picked their package?

Thanks again.

hello, 2 questions:

1. When signing in and the window pops up it asks: About you with a pull down. – Where can I change that? 2. Possible dumb question – when signing up it keeps creating new WP users. is that how it is supposed to work? Or am I missing a giant step?

Thanks

hi. is there only one gateway to receive money from employers? ? how about bank account transfer?

Astoundify

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

All Payment gateways that WooCommerce supports are compatible. This includes Bank Transfer/PayPal/Skrill/Authorize.net/Stripe unlike most job board themes they only offer maybe a few options, with Jobify you can use any payment gateway that WooCommerce supports, see: http://www.woothemes.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/ This is over 116+ payment gateways.

Hi,

On the ‘submit a job’ page, I would like to upload a company logo directly from the media library and not from my computer, in order to avoid file duplication. Is it possible ?

Currently, if we want to add several offers for the same company we have to upload the same logo file every time.

Can you help me with that ?

Thanks by advance.

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

Question: On the ‘submit a job’ page, I would like to upload a company logo directly from the media library and not from my computer, in order to avoid file duplication. Is it possible ?

Answer: This would be a feature that the WP Job Manager plugin would need to add as this is the plugin the controls the output of the “Upload” company logo field on the submit a job page. This is a great feature suggestion for the developer of the WP Job Manager plugin, his name is Mike Jolley and can be contacted here.

Do you have this setting enabled?

Hello, I’m really happy to use your template since 2 months now. It’s a great deal really, i’m just wondering if you thought to make an update with less steps, I was thinking on after creating the job offer when we have to choose a package, if we can just make it as a popup ? It would be nice a popup like the Stripe checkout.

Hope you’ll think about it !

Astoundify

This is already possible using the https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/simple-paid-listings/ plugin.

Hi. In the demo, i see a CONTACT button under the Candidate Details section. Upon pressing the button, a Contact Candidate form pops up. Is it possible so that only users with a paid subscription will see this form and if a user does not have one, a message stating that he needs to purchase one is shown (and be redirected to a page where he can see purchase options)?

Astoundify

Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

Anyone can apply for a job, you can charge Candidates to post resumes and then when they apply for jobs the resume will be added to their submission, it is not possible without customization to require a subscription to see the pop-up contact window.

Cheers! Adam

which are the means of payment supports the theme ?
