that should be possible, because all the colored details are images (if I remember well), so I think you can just update the paths of the graphic files in the css of the skin 1 with the graphic files of the skin 3.

Open the parkerandkent2011/css/theme/pk/pk_skin1.css file and using your css editor find & replace function replace all the skin1 with skin3.

Then save and update the file on the server.

no, isn’t possible to use the xhtml slider. The WP slider is completely dynamic, it’s built by the options you set… the xhtml one is just plain html that can’t be populated by dynamic data.

Did you select “YouTube” and entered the video ID only as explained below the option? If you entered the full URL of the video it won’t work.

If you think you did everything correctly without success, send me a message through my profile page with your theme URL and login so I can check myself what you did and what’s wrong

Thank you very much for your help, I have successfully set my own videos in the sliders now.

Just to share with you, I really like the slider style of your theme’s html version (I am talking about the ‘buttons to switch to next and previous sliders’ which you have created within the slider information area). In the WP version buttons are out side the slider area.

Anyways, this too is nice [If the other style is not possible :)].

Okay now, I need some more help here; the background of my posts is showing white color. I checked the code and it is ’#ffffff’. At your demo site the posts’ background is ’#0d120c’.

This white background is not looking nice, please help me know how do I change this.

Every post can have a different background color. For this reason the color must be set in each post edit screen.

Below the post editor, you should find the PK Options Panel with all the options for the post. Over there you can set the background color with a color picker.

If you don’t see this panel, check the screen options. The button to show the screen options is located above the save/update button of the post, in the top right corner of the page.

which version of WP are you using?

Milky is already updated and tested to work with the latest WP 3 .4.

Probably you are using a plugin that isn’t ready for the latest WP version and maybe it is breaking the site.

Try deactivating one by one your plugins and see if everything works fine again.

Let me know about your WP version and tell me also which plugins you have activated, so I can have more info about your issue.

1: that slider item is empty… check if you entered all the options in the right way. Open the slide post and read all the PK Options to see if they’re set accordingly to your slider item type (image, video, etc).

2: that image is in the page content. So, edit the home page and in the editor remove from the text this part:

does your server support timthumb.php? Contact your hosting support and ask about it, I see a 500 internal server error. Shortcodes need timthumb to resize the images to the size you set, while the theme use WP images.

Your server must support it, probably the problem is just caused by a misconfiguration.

Before I explain you the whole code to do what you need manually in your post editor, try contacting your hosting support. Tell them that timthumb isn’t working on your theme and link them the page that doesn’t work.

when you add a new work, first set a featured image and then set your video information below the editor of the work. If you check better, below the editor and the shortcodes manager, there is the PK Options box with all the available options for the post. Don’t use the shortcodes in this case, they are meant to be used exclusively within the page content

what you want isn’t possible. The options are 2:

1: small video in the grid, full video in the post (as for preview)

2: small image with video lightbox in the grid, big image with video lightbox in the post, in both cases you have to click on the featured images to open the video.

A mix of the 2 options isn’t possible, so let me know which one you prefer.

pk2011_milky/translate/theme/fr_FR.mo works fine.

pk2011_milky/translate/admin/fr_FR.mo doesn’t work, some fields are translated like – select – , but General options is not.

Ok I solved the problem, I copy this line : ” load_theme_textdomain(‘pk_text_domain’, get_template_directory() . ’/translate/admin’); ” just after ”<?php” on line 1 of the function document. Now everything is working fine. Maybe There’s a better way.

I see it closed while loading. Anyway, you see it open because the speed of your internet connection. If the loading is slow you will see the various elements loading before js hides them… try to load the page a couple of times and you’ll see that when the page is cached you will see it closed…
