WordPress Wiki Theme

Having trouble inserting line breaks in my posts. Tried in the html editor, and also installed the TinyMCE Advanced plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tinymce-advanced/) and tried using the line break button it adds to the visual editor. Even when line breaks appear in the editor theyre still not showing up on the live page.

Any suggestions?

We just purchased this theme. Looks promising however we are running into an issue where “Live Search” is not working. You can repro the problem here..

Hi, does this theme work with WordPress 3.2?

I’m having problems with nesting lists in this theme. They simply aren’t rendering correctly.

<ol>
<li>item 1
<ul><li>sub 1</li></ul>
</li>
</ol>

It renders as both lists simultaneously. Ideally I want the list-style-type of none to work but I can’t seem to get that to work either, even after reducing it to the wordpress list-style and it still doesn’t seem to work. Am I missing something ridiculously simple?

Also just found an issue with FAQs where it’s inserting / before any type apostrophes or quotes. I’ve fixed it but whenever I go back it changes it to the slashes.

I purchased this theme for awhile.

Is there a plugin where you can upload PDF /DOCX files so they become searchable? I like the live search function and will use the theme as a owners manual for my new project.

I am unable to edit the permalink settings. I tried / category / postname, with the percentage symbols, but it doesn’t work at all. I get pages not found, but with the page itself showing but with the page title showing Article instead of the actual page. Wiki articles show up fine—It’s only the pages I have a problem with.

And…of course I figure it out as soon as I send this. I had to enter content into the Wiki slug settings area.

Installed the theme and activated the FAQs plugin but:

1) The Recent Articles sit at the bottom of the page and not on the side like your template.

2) We can’t get the FAQ feature/plugin to work. - We created an FAQ tab (added a new page, named it FAQ and selected FAQ on the sidebar as the page template). But when we tried to add a new FAQ using Add New under FAQs, the page didn’t show up below the home page and on the FAQ page.

Please let us know how to fix these. Thanks.

Ghetto. It appears as though the FAQ plugin will not work with WP 3 and above.

I’m so ticked I bought this. I didn’t have much time to review other designs, and I really liked the simplicity and idea behind this one. Not having much money to spare, I spent the $30 anyway to save time.

This design is now over two years old, does not support any widgets whatsoever (in fairness, it does show that on the purchase page), and the built-in FAQ does not work in WP 3 .0+. Therefore, this is a dead theme. To still charge $30 for this is a crime. It needs to be either updated (it still is a nice design) or taken off.

Same problem. FAQ doesn’t work at WP 3 .0 Any news?

Just put this line in “manage.php” file, after “foreach ($_POST as $k => $v) {”, line 15:

if($k != ‘_ajax_linking_nonce’ && $k != ‘href’ && $k != ‘linktitle’)

this happens because wordpress 3.0+ works with ajax internally. So, it puts these 3 fields automatically on post. these 3 fields are useless to this plugin.

Ugh. Has anyone gotten this to work with Wordpress 3.2.1. I didn’t see the comments until after I purchased.

Ok – 2 questions.

When I install the theme, the wordpress menu’s area disappears. So how do you control what pages are in the menu?

The instructions are not very clear for the Post Ratings plugin – does the code need to go after existing code or in place of?
