Hi :)

I have set up the theme as per your documentation, which I must say was very easy and well presented :)

However, I add a product to the cart and then attempt to checkout and receive this error uner the ‘Your Order’ heading: Sorry, your session has expired. Return to homepage ?

It is probably something I missed in set up, can you suggest a fix please?

FlexiPress

Hey Whisper,

This sounds like it could be a problem with your hosts php session configuration. I would suggest getting in touch with your host who should be able to quickly change a few things to fix it.

Are you logged in when trying to checkout?

OK cool.. can you email me save cluttering up your comments forum and I can offer you the site link and credentials if you like.

In the meantime I will contact my host (I have both wpcommerce and cart66 themes working on the same host).

Ooops :) one other quickie please, how can I make my full image background ‘fixed’ ?

Thanks for an awesome theme, having lots of fun with this :)

FlexiPress

Hey Whisper,

Thanks for your support :) If you want the image fixed you will have to add a line into the “Custom CSS Code” section in your design settings page. Add this and you should be good to go.

body{ background-attachment:fixed; }

Thanks for the fast response :) Any idea what is causing the error :

“Sorry, your session has expired. Return to homepage ?”

I have the demo content and am tried buying several different items and same error?

Question prior to purchase: Does this theme support digital products? IE: When clients purchase, they will be able to download a digital product.

Hey!! Amazing Work!! One question though… How easy is to migrate from the old Flexishop?! I would LOVE to get this and use it instead of the old one!! And a tutorial about this would be great!!

FlexiPress

Old flexishop? WPEC / WooCommerce version? yes, we are working on that… Please check our schedule here, http://support.primathemes.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2499

This is such a nice theme, congratulations! I’m doing a little bit of research about multi-site structures, and I was looking at Open Cart because it has some support for that.

But now I see this and I think it has a lot more potential because of the Wordpress platform. My question: is there some way I can use a subdomain-page (ie: example.demosite.com) for a overview of products only?

For example: I would like to make an overview-page for 7 shops in a street, that page wil have several products on it from those 7 shops. So it can not function as a shop on it’s own. Is it possible to enter a link somewhere on product-level to forward them to the right shop and complete a transaction there?

I hope you understand the question, kind of difficult to explain! This opencart plugin provides the service that I need for that page, but it does not offer linking to different shops: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=3090&filter_search=catalog%20mode&sort=e.date_modified&order=DESC

Thanks for your time!

FlexiPress

A Catalog mode?

Absolutely yes, you can hide/show price, add to cart button, and many elements from your Theme Settings page…

Robthijs

Allright! I knew it wasn’t an option within the Woocommerce plugin (as far as I could see). Thanks for the info!

Wow, I was excited of flexishop 1, but now I bought Flexishop 2. I am now more excited, especially with Woocommerce. It looks very fresh and clean. It takes me time to figure the new things out, but I like that.

Keep up the good work and thanks!

Hi the theme keeps on making the single product image size 446446. Even though Woo settings are set at 200200 can you help..

Thanks Dale Fixed the slider problem missed out a bit of shortcode..

FlexiPress

It is because we use percentage width to make it responsive.

div.product div.images {
    float: left;
    width: 47%;
    margin-bottom: 10px;
}
div.product div.summary {
    float: right;
    width: 48%;
}

if you want to use smaller single product image size, then you can modify this width in your style-basic.css

Love, Love this theme! The more i use it the more I love it. One question though, are you planning on releasing an update to fix the non-responsive cart and check-out? I feel that should be a must for a responsive e-commerce theme. :)

Please let me know!

FlexiPress

NOTED ! FlexiShop 2 v1.0.2 will cover the updated CSS for responsive cart & checkout. It will be ready in the end of this week. Feel free to remind us (in a good way of course) if we can deliver it in the end of this week.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. ;)

@Robthijs What you are looking for is easy in WordPress. I am sorry to say that the answer to this question will be unrelated to this theme, but it will assist you to do what you are wanting to get done. I have done this a few times already. To start with you will need is Marketpress which you can find here http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/e-commerce?ref=cmwwebfx-74871

This will let you setup 100’s of shops from your town or street, let them all sell on line, and setup the shop so that each sale online gives you a small percentage of each sale for hosting their website shops. It allows you then to place certain category products from each store or the most recent products from the stores on your main home page.

I would love to see this new theme updated one day to be able to use MarketPress. I have setup a few of these sites, and I can just say “Awesome”, and very easy to do. Maybe if there are enough people that want to use MarketPress for your shopping carts, then Agus and the PrimaThemes team might look at this as an option. BTW , I would not use Opencart for what you are trying to do… Tried it and it just didn’t seem to do exactly waht I wanted. It was going to cost a bucket load of $$ to get someone to develop further.

WooCommerce and MarketPress = Ease of use, huge amount of developers ready to help, most for a few extra $ or in the case of PrimaThemes a donation for their premium support. (this is one reason I stick around for their themes)

@ Prima – MarketPress is a very niche market to get into ;)

Hello!

I am interested in buying this theme for a ecommerce project, I would like to make a shop in 2 languages (spanish and english). Is it possible with this theme?

Thank you!!!!!

FlexiPress

The theme and WooCommerce are localisation ready, so you just need the spanish mo/po files and you are good to go!

@ MCollins, thanks so much for helping out! Seems that you’ve been searching along the same way! I also ran into the limitations of Open Cart and was thinking about tweaking, customizing and putting in a lot of hours to make it work.

Marketpress did caught my attention earlier but I didn’t realise that it was that suitable for Multi Store support. I will check it out a little better this time. It would be great if I could integrate it with this theme. Thanks again for the advice!

Hello.

Thanks for this awesome theme! I had to wait long for a good ecommerce theme.

I only have one problem / question: The product pictures (Catalog & Single) are in a very poor quality. During the development i’ve had uploaded my own product images > 450×650px (besides the dummy content) these are also in a poor quality on the Shop and Single-Product Pages. Can you please tell me where’s the problem here?

Thanks in advance.

FlexiPress

Hey LivinLoud,

Under WooCommerce settings in the catalog tab you will find image size settings. Make sure the dimensions of the images are set large enough. Let me know how you go.

Hey Jackola,

Good idea, will look at adding that in an upcoming update.

Hey Isildak,

I haven’t seen this error before but after doing some research it looks like it could be a problem with your Wordpress installation. Google that error and check out the results. I think this is a question for the support forum, head here and sign up and the support team should be able to give you more help :) support.primathemes.com

Great theme, love it!

Some questions:

- how can I change the text Promo! to Sale! and can I change the color? - Can I change the color in the ’’on sale product icon’’ and ’’best sellers icon’’, if so, how?

FlexiPress

You can change the background and font color of the sale icons by adding some custom css. Go into the design settings page and then into the custom css code tab. Add this and change the colors and background as you like.

span.onsale { color:black; background:blue; }

I’m not sure what you mean by “best sellers icon”? Do you mean the headings?

Default-user
roypossie Purchased

Changing the color of the Promo! icon works well, but how can I change the text from Promo! to Sale!?

And on the homepage I have On sale products ( icon in light bleu ) and Best Sellers Product (icon in Light bleu ). Can I also change the color of that icon?

FlexiPress

To change colour of those best seller headings add this to the custom css section.

.section h2 span, h2.horizontalheading span{ background:black; color:white; }

We will look at making these changes an option in a future update, but for now you will have to edit template files to change “sale” to “promotion”. Head over to the support forum and they will run you through it, its quite a simple change.

Any ideas?

What is the compatibility of the theme from switching from V.1? Will there be any major issues?

FlexiPress

Hey MCollins,

Thanks for being so involved with our themes and the community :) Do you mean Flexishop 1 for WooCommerce? You should be able to export/import your products/posts/pages just fine, I would obviously use a backup site just in case. We will definitely be working on making this transition smoother in the future.

Ahh this is no issue at all, you guys have done an incredible job to assist me, so it is my way to assist when I can.

Yes I have tried the transition from WooFlexi1 to Flexi2 a few mins ago, seems no real issue. Although I have to send out the project today, I have decided to handover the Flexi1 site. Will look at utilizing Flexi2 from now though.

I want the ability to turn responsive off. How can I do this please?

FlexiPress

Head into design settings and under the general tab you will see a “responsive layout” setting, change this to no and you should be good to go.
