First of all, I would like to thank you for producing such an amazing theme. The theme was purchased on another account. It was so well thought out – on both the front and back end.
Just a couple of questions.
1. What is you best suggestion for dealing with product descriptions that are on the long side? Although it still looks great, I do find there is just a bit too much negative space once the description becomes a certain length.
2. Is there an FAQ section you can point me to for custom back-end branding (login page etc.)

We using are Flexishop 2 and the checkout page is not working for us. Upon trying to check out the website will give a security notice asking if I would like to proceed. When I click yes, it doesn’t bring me to the checkout page, and but it gives me an error 404 message.
I have tried renaming the checkout page and recreating the checkout pages from scratch using the Woocommerce short codes. When I recreate the checkout page, it will work once and every time after that will return to being an error. Neither have shown to work.
How do I fix it so it does not show the security prompt and does not show the 404 error?

Hi there,
Make sure your checkout page is setup correctly in woocommerce -> settings -> pages. Since it gives you a 404 error, it could also be an issue with your permalinks. Try changing/updating your permalinks in settings -> permalinks.

Another user posted this earlier so it looks like it could be a potential bug for us to look at. You can add this CSS in the meantime to hide them.

- Is there an option to include testimonials in the sidebars? - Is there a possibility for a custom content page – somewhere I can include testimonials, video, custom content? - could a slider be included on every page? - video in sliders?

Hey Eric,
There is no “testimonial” post type per say, however there is nothing stopping you from using a plain text widget for this. Yeah you can add your content like any other theme. The homepage in the demo is actually just a page using the full layout and shortcodes

Remove the search tab? I think I will use the woo-search plugin and place it elsewhere..

2. You can just hide it with CSS for an easy solution. Add this CSS to your child theme or custom css code section

I would recommend using the inbuilt “Sharethis” option. You can find it in Woocommerce -> settings -> integration tab.

Hi. I am currently having a problem. Please have a look this. The address of my website is www.koreanfashionista.com if you go there, it doesn’t show the main website. it shows blog page. It is the same if you click the logo button as well. but if you see the footer which is located in bottom, and click the little button “koreanfashionista” you can see the main website. it’s supposed to show the main website when you go to www.koreanfashionista.com first. The recent products section is generated using shortcodes. So if you go into pages->homepage you will see something like this
[prima_products title="Recent Products" numbers="5" columns="5" orderby="date" order="desc"product_saleflash="yes" product_title="yes" product_price="yes" product_button="yes"]. Just remove this and it will be removed from your siteOMFG .. i went to setting section – general and changed the address of website (added /homepage/) afterwards, I CANNOT get into LOG -IN pannel anymore!!!!!!!! And got error like 404-not found. I don’t know what to do now. Please help me. and i also added you on skype but you have never been online. please help me with this. my skype id is rokmcsw thank you

One rule of Wordpress is to try not to change your url in settings, its a bit of a pain to fix

Thanks for the nice comments, and sorry for the late reply, been out of town. 1. Hmmm. Unfortunately there is no real easy way of wrapping the text. Can you post this question on our forum and Rilwis should be able to help you with a better answer.
2. Maybe take a look at this extension http://www.woothemes.com/extension/woocommerce-branding/. Might be what you’re after.
3. What version of the theme have you got? This was fixed in an older update.

I figured out to log-in and now i can log-in to wordpress. but i still don’t understand why my homepage doesn’t show up when i typed http://www.koreanfashionista.com (this shows blog somehow) . The homepage which is mainpage, only shows up when i type http://www.koreanfashionista.com/homepage/ i need to figure this out asap. And also, I would like to know how to get rid of recent product, Product Categories on the main page. One more thing to change the color of “Add to cart” button on the product page as well, please. As you probably figured out you need to set the front page to static.
To change the colour of the “Add to cart” button, add this to your custom css code section in design settings.

Do you have a basic instruction guide for this theme. I am new to wordpress and this theme. I am having a hard time understanding the difference between design settings and theme settings. I am also having a hard time getting layout changes etc to occur across all pages. These are just some of my questions, and probably naive ones at that, so I while I would love it if you would answer these specific questions, a link to a guide would be the best thing.

Regarding your questions. Each page has its own layout, so you when you create a page you can either leave it as default ( which will use default layout settings found in “theme settings”), or you can choose a different layout for the page to use.

Thanks for the nice words! What do you mean by additional menus? Do you mean to the top menu or just in the page content? One solution would be to create a menu in appearance->menus, and then use the custom menu widget in a custom sidebar for that page. You can create custom sidebars in appearance->sidebar settings, and then when you edit a page you can apply that sidebar to that particular page.

I have tried to get in touch via Skype about 2 weeks ago—not to avail… There is an issue with the audio player when you use several on the same page. If you start one, then another, the previous one doesn’t pause automatically, this is very annoying and I know that the original source code allows the “pause previous” behaviour as standard since version 1. Not sure why you’ve omitted this important feature. I don’t want to have to use a third party plugin, as you already have the player built in, and most importantly, it’s the very reason why I bought your theme in a first place—hope that makes sense? Also according to the source, you are using v2.0, while v2.1 has been out for a while with many improvements. Can you please look into this, it is very important to me, if you are not sure, please ask the developer—he/she will understand fully what I said. Trust me, I do not like bumping. That’s all I need.

Your site is throwing a JS error when on the checkout page. “XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://thenimbusproject.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. Origin http://www.thenimbusproject.com is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.” This looks like some sort of a domain issue. Are you running Wordpress MU or is your site setup using different domains? I would recommend getting in touch with your host as well, they might be able to help you further.
