Hi, fantastic theme. Sorry if this has been answered, however i set my sidebars for my shop page – which works…however if i then click on a product category, it takes me to the product category page which doesnt have the right sidebars..I’d think this would take the sidebars from the parent ‘shop’ page. Please advise…

Hey Jwebb, you can set the default sidebar for your shop/products page in theme settings -> shop/products page.
Yep I’ve set that. The sidebar layout is not the issue. The sidebar content is changing when I click on the categories – I want it to the stay the same thoughout the shop. In this case, when i click a category, the sidebar content become the same each side for some reason
I have the mini sidebar and main sidebar activated, and they become the same content when i click a category. Sorry, hard to explain
Ah ok, so you have two sidebars enabled, and on a category page they both contain the same content? Haven’t encountered that one before, just tried it on the test site and it all works fine. Have you created a dynamic sidebar and attached it to the shop page or something?
I did as you recommend but the woocommerce tabs are still for some reason broke I wonder is this a javascript problem or some sort I did everything in the replies to my first post as well as everything in the link you provided

Go into style-basic.css and on line 2544 you will see the styles for tabs. You must of added “classname” in there which is putting everything off. I think if you just remove “classname” it should work.

I would like to purchase your theme, but my client would like to know if the following is possible please:
Can the picture categories be four to a line? Could the address be at the top? Could twitter and facebook icons be at the top? -Could the footer section at the bootom be turned into just one Our story/about section? so that we have the actual copy on the front page to help SEO. Can the top logo be bigger?
Great theme, really hope all the above are changeable.

Hey Khaled. 1. you can change the number of items in a row. 2&3. You would just have to modify a template file to do this, its not built into the theme. 4. You can disable the bottom or top footer sections. For the homepage you could just use the column shortcodes to add the story/about section. 5. You can change the size of the logo in settings, see here http://cl.ly/Nhkp

Great thank you – when you say modify a template, are we talking a bit of extra CSS or something more complicated than that?
You would have to add some HTML to a few template files, so it would go beyond CSS.

How can I download the updated theme version? (I assume that will fix this issue?)

It does indeed fix that error. You can download the update through your themeforest profile. If you haven’t made any changes to the parent theme then you can just replace the theme folder.

Thank you. That worked. I didn’t realize it was the latest version, since the icon in my themeforest profile downloads section still showed the version number from when I purchased it. My site is all better now, though. Thanks again!

Yes, it’s the latest version, using the child theme in a multisite environment.
I don’t think this is a theme issue, it sounds like its a multisite issue. wp_get_theme is usually used within the admin area to get theme information (e.g. appearance->themes). I don’t believe we use that function within our theme.
I just purchased your theme…great by the way! And I recently re-downloaded the update after March 5th and installed…things seem to be working…but on my theme version it still says 1.07 and also the download folder was called 1_0_7. I’m using the 1.0 child theme on top of it. but how do I know I’m using the latest 1.1 with some of the fixes…I don’t want to have to have any customers get messed up pages if I’m running an older version.

I am having problems with the export/import. I have 2 websites and I am going to use the same template with modifications. However, I am unable to import the images of Products from XML file to my other website. Everything is imported correctly but the no image is imported.
My main website has a SSL certificate installed. Is this what you can help me with?

I’m guessing you have ticked the download images box when doing an import. The images are obviously imported from your main website server, but I don’t see why SSL would effect it. Do other site images import ok or is it just product images?

Well, When it say Download Attachments I ticked it and I am having the problem for my other websites as well. I mean its never been imported for any website. Not sure why.
So you have always had that problem? I would contact your host to see if it is a problem on their end. They might prevent downloading images from external sites.
I have contacted my hosting company, they said problem with WordPress are not solved by their support.
hi do you have experience with plugin called “catalog visibility option” the plugin works well but have some visiblity problem whit detail product , dont show the add to cart button and price .

Very strange. Could it be a permission issue? Check your role in “Users”. You could manually enter the slider shortcode if everything else fails

Does the slider need a plugin for it to work? I am an administrator, by the way. Would you like me to PM or email you a set of login details so that you can try it yourself?
Slider doesn’t need a plugin, its a shortcode built into the theme. You will need to replace the ID “160” in the code above with the id of the slider you have created in the “slider” menu on the left.
I updated wc and ever since I have been having the following problems.
1. I cannot load product pictures from the media gallery in the multiple product images section using the manage images button. I can manually load them using the choose file and taking them from my computer but whats the point of having them in the media gallery then. 2. On my product page the— Description Additional Information Reviews (0) is placed directly under the variable selections and wraps to the right of the picture. Shouldn’t this be under the Product description area?
I have a couple other issues but I would like to address these first and get them fixed. Can you please help me with this? Thanks in advance!

1. We are looking at this as an update to the theme at a later date. Our initial assumption was that product images will rarely be used across multiple products, though a few people have requested this so we will look into it.
2. I’m not sure what you mean by this. Having the tabs below the description on the right is how the theme is designed.

It worked before the WC2 update.
Also, since the WC2 update, I am using WP FlexiShop Two Child Version 2.0-amu, with the parent theme set as WP FlexiShop Two Version: 1.0.6. Is this configuration the correct/most current setup? If not, please let me know which versions are the correct/most recent.

You should use the latest version on Themeforest as this is what I match up against. WC2 updated the tab classes, so if you have modified them in the child theme you might have to update them. I believe you can just do a find on “woocommerce_tabs” and replace with “woocommerce-tabs” in your style.css.

I’m helping a friend with her site. Since the update to Woocommerce 2, and the updated FS2 theme (ver 1.0.7?), the product data tab has disappeared, replaced with bullet points for those items (above the product description). Is there any way to restore the product tab to show up as it does in the demo where they’re reversed out of a horizontal bar? thanks!

The theme update should of fixed this issue. Make sure you have the latest version from Themeforest. If that doesn’t fix it, there is probably a JS issue on your product page. Are you using any other plugins?

I would definitely recommend moving across to a child theme in future so you don’t have to go through this mess later lol.
It looks like you may have an old version of the WooCommerce single-product javascript file. The version you have references woocommerce_tabs when it should be woocommerce-tabs. I would make sure you have updated all the plugin files first.
Is there a shortcode for images? I would like to add a list with “ticks” before each point. In the themes folder shortcodes there is a “tick.png”.
How can I add this?

You can do this with css. You would have to go into HTML edit mode and add a class to the list. e.g.
<ul class="tick-list" />Then in your custom css code section in design settings you can add something like:
ul.tick-list{ list-style-image:url('tick.png'); padding-left:40px; }Might have to modify slightly but it should be enough to get you going.

If the “Add Variations” button is in the admin area then it would be a Woo problem. Does it not save your variations properly?
