The newest Wordpress update seemed to remove the excerpt field from the edit post page. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Looks like they’re loading now, guessing you got it sorted.
Actually, now they are not loading at all.
It depends on Twitters API so its a possibility they’re experiencing some issues.
The alternate home doesn’t work on the demo.
Can someone tell me where to add the code if I want to add a Facebook Icon to the left of the search box when the Navigation bar is in the middle of the theme?

I’ve tried several times to get a featured gallery. I’ve appended the relative category and write the correct image address but the pictures don’t work.
I’ve tried to reinstall wp, this is the default theme with two posts as featured gallery.

Thanks for your purchase, have you checked all the items in the FAQ ? It looks like your img_resize folder isn’t set to 777, as its not allowing timthumb to write the new file.

It could be an issue with the way your URL is built, I’ve seen timthumb choke on things like that. Might not be liking the http://is-land.web44.net, I’d suggest testing with a different domain.
I am getting an error that my page needs a new Google Maps API key, I have found where to get a new key but where do I load it into the dashboard/panels?

Make sure you’re only uploading the industry folder and not the entire main zip you downloaded from ThemeForest.
Hi … I haven’t changed anything recently, but suddenly the contact form doesn’t seem to be working on a site I did using Industry.
I am still running WordPress 3.0.4., should I update to 3.2.1?
If I view the page in IE – it seems all pages show javascript errors.

Your success message contains line breaks or returns try removing those and you’ll be good to go.

I’m just not sure how to set my posts to go onto a blog page? I’ve set up a page called articles that I would like them to go to, how would I set them to automatically go there, or for that page to be my Blog page? If I change the setting in settings, reading, and set the static page to articles it still doesn’t work?

You’ll need to use Appearance > Menus to build out your navigation and link to your main blog category and you’ll be good to go. Make sure your Settings > Reading > Front Page > is set to Latest Posts.
Hi, I got this theme for free from themeforest a couple of months ago. Now I wanted to try it. My problem is: the slider doesn´t show any images. industry > img_resize > cache folder is set to 777. When I save a new article and add an image. The image gets resized and i can see it on the homepage in the preview, but the slider doesn´t show anything. I just see a white field and the arrows for navigating the slider.
Did you assign the post to your featured category and make sure that category is set under WP Industry Options > Categories > Featured

May I ask you another thing: When I edit a new article. I would like to wrap text around a picture. Normally, I use left-alignment and it works. When I try this with your theme it only works, while editing the article. When I save the article and take a look at the preview the text is not wrapped around the picture anymore. Is there a way to use this feature somehow?

Another problem I got: I attached categories to the menu. This looks fine http://www.stadtklatsch.com/category/technik/produkttests/samsung_galaxy_s2/ This example looks broken http://www.stadtklatsch.com/category/technik/produkttests/samsung-smart-tv-d8090/I can´t find out why. Even if there is only one article with just the text “test”, it looks broken.
Concerning my problem with the broken design: When I open http://www.stadtklatsch.com/category/technik/fotografie/ the design s broken. Right of the image is a ”> . I think that is what causes the broken design. If you take a look at the code in line 146 you find

I don´t know where to find the ”> in the root-files to remove it.
I downloaded Industry when it was free file of the month. Created pages I need and have multiple users to enter blog posts, but I can’t figure out how to get those posts to appear anywhere other than the widget area on the home page that shows recent posts. I’d like an actual “blog” page, but can figure out how to get the posts on there. Can you help?

No plugin is needed, if your categories are setup correctly in WP Industry Options > Categories then you should be good to go.

Hi there I’m having trouble with the Featured slider for a while I only had one slide so I had the control panel option set to only display one post but I just added a second slide in the correct category and changed the option to show 2 posts but no matter what I do it will only show one of the posts.
Any Ideas?

If you have your category setup correctly and the number selected there’s nothing else that would cause an issue if you have more than one post assigned.
Hi … is there a toggle/accordian shortcode available in this theme? I haven’t been able to find any documentation on it—I tried to find questions about it here before having to bother you by asking about it.
