I write you as I can´t manage to get images the way you show them on your installation:

In detail:

While page/post images in your installation occupy full width of white space (see this: http://themes.contempographicdesign.com/?theme=lofty )

Mine, have a margin all around them:

I want to have them the way you show in the demo. Full width, no left/right white space around the pic.

Only the post lead image on posts not pages will be displayed full width, any images inserted into the post body will have 20px of margin as its in the content area.

Ok…

Well… last question. Although I removed the hatch pattern on the main slider, I still see the images dark. Does it have some kind of filter? How can I remove it so images display normally?

I´m guessing you used custom text widget for that. Although I´m including an absolute path for calling an image (lets say, it doesn´t show anything. How can include them?

That’s just a text widget, example code:

I am not finding a template or proper layout for a “news” or “blog” style page- I have tried to set it up similar to a portfolio but the posts are still not showing up. I added the category to my menu but still am not getting anything to show up… help please…

You’ve setup your link wrong you’ve added a link to a Page called News you need to create a category called News then add that category in the Menus area.

This is incorrect:

http://nsrholdings.com/?page_id=9

It will be something like:

http://nsrholdings.com/?cat=9

On my portfolio page i am having a problem with the image repeating itself once you select the company- please see: http://nsrholdings.com/?post_type=portfolio&p=156

also, How can make the portfolio title not to display in the squares or to possibly display it in not in the center of the square and more toward the bottom…. please see: http://nsrholdings.com/?post_type=portfolio

I would prefer to have the image fill the square and not have to keep the words on there at all…. Thanks

Don’t click the “Insert into post” button and you’ll be good to go, the image is automatically pulled in.

I am having a problem with the “news” page, I have it set as a category on my menu but would like the layout to be the same as the sample’s “articles” and have them come across into 3 stories(articles) I couldn’t find a place to edit the options…

All categories will use the default archive.php template. Which looking at your theme its working properly. The posts per page can be set in Settings > Reading > Blog pages show

Great theme! I’m using it with Visual Composer though and it’s giving me grief. When I make a post and format it with VC, the thumbnail isn’t shown on the main homepage. Instead I only see the article title. Is there a fix for this?

For those that are looking for this solution, here it is:

When inserting images into Posts ONLY (Pages aren’t supported for this): • click on the Upload/Insert button to the top left of the text body area • upload your image (MUST upload, using pre-existing media in Media library will not work) • DO NOT CLICK ON “Insert into Post” • Instead, close that pop-up window

You will not see your image at all. I find this troubling, but it works. Publish and you will see your image there.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR THEME OR UPDATE YOUR DOCUMENTATION

Hi My slider was working perfectly, but now I can’t seem to get it to work. I have tried deleting and reuploading but I cannot delete the first slider. The images are vertical on the home page and do not move. Any suggestions?
