Maybe including the ability to easily modify this would be a great feature for a future release?? I would definitely buy.

Not a problem, it could be a possibility. I’ll add it to the list.

And if someone could explain IN STEPS what to do with this GD Library… Do I download it from somewhere..??? No idea. Please, bare in mind that some people dont understand all these big wording and need step-by-step guidance..;-) Thank you!

Marta,

Hi, thanks for your purchase. You’ll need to save out the slices from Photoshop into the paramount > images folder and overwrite the existing files then upload them via FTP to your server.

Regarding the GD Library this comes by default on any server running PHP 4 .3+ you’ll need to contact your host and make sure this is enabled. Also make sure that when you upload the theme you put the theme folder directly into wp-content > themes otherwise the file paths will be incorrect. That was one of the main issues people were having.

Thank You for quick respond!

I am changing color now only, and will take care of psd later ;-) I contacted HostGator – yes, GD is on by default.. An I doing something wrong them ?

See..I have some posts already written. Do I need to upload again the pictures I already have had before I downloaded this theme? If yes..what is the special way of doing it – since that way I always was doing it – does not work. Thank you!

sorry ;-)

I am doing exactly like it is said under the help. I see small (half of an inch square) in a right upper corner..It is blank, but it is trying to do something;-)

Now – Previously, most of my pictures I downloaded from my hard drive ( MEANING ; THERE IS NO link to attach!!!!!!). Just recently I tried my flickr…and thats where this small square is happening.. Is it possible that the reason behind it is that my flickr pictures are spaceballed ?

Thank you..

I’m not sure what you mean, if you upload the images via the Wordpress Media Library you will see a “File URL ” link this is what you need to input into your Image fields.

I bought this theme and I do love it, but it’s very difficult to customize for me, because I don’t have the ability to edit a .psd.

If I could edit this theme, I’d change the “logo” and the color scheme, so I could use it for a website for teens.

I would like to add more ads in the sidebar. Could you tell me how to modify the number of ads shown? I found where they are in the theme functions but that’s as far as I could figure out.

Thanks!

I am looking at buying your theme do the individual posts have the option of just having a single image and/or including the slider?

Also if you have the slider in a post can you change the number of images it cycles through? If, so can you change that number per post or will it be changed for all posts?

You’ll need to modify widgets.php in the includes folder, you’ll see the Ads widget down towards the bottom of the file.

Unfortunately no, there’s two template files for the blog and portfolio posts. So you could have a slider on blogs but not portfolios or vice-versa.

Thanks for this great theme ;)

Thanks for this great theme ;)

Thanks

Made some small changes, updated the look and feel of the Theme Options panel and added a field for the custom footer logo and alt text. If you’ve purchased the theme prior to this morning, make sure you go to your Account > Downloads and grab the latest version.

Cheers,

Chris

Hello I have purchased this theme and it looks very classy and I look forward to branding it to my use.

I have encountered a problem though… I am building my site locally on my PC (using wamp) – and have used the image manager to upload some photos. When I put the pasted image url into the blog (for the slider), there is no photo on the front end, just a tiny little box with a frame. When I check the uploads folder, the photo is there, when I visit the url, the photo is there – but it just doesn’t show up in the front end? I tried as an experiment to insert the photo into the normal text area of the blog (rather than the 4 image areas for the slider), and the photo DOES appear on the front end.

Could you please advise what the problem could be and a possible fix? Many thanks.

Kulsha.

Do you have GD library installed locally? Try directly pulling the timthumb.php file up and see if you get a “no image specified”. If not you’ll need to install GD library.

Thank you for your assistance, I didn’t know how to bring up the timthumb.php file? But I checked my php settings and the GD library was installed.

For some reason this was acting up and I have to refresh my screen all the time, sometimes the images seem to disappear – then refresh will bring them back. Anyway – it will probably be more stable on a remote hosting service.

I’m thinking about purchasing this theme and modifying it for business use. Couple of questions:

- There is not a “Contact Form” in the current structure. Are you planning to add it? Or would it be easier for me to purchase the standard “PHP contact form” from ThemeForrest and implement it on the page?

- Would it be possible for me to replace the Search bar in the header banner with text (such .com”>info@email.com – 555-555-5555) ?

- I don’t have any experience with Photoshop or Dreamweaver. Is there another way for me to modify the color scheme PSD file?

I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer my questions and I will go ahead and purchase this right away. It looks great!

You can grab the cForms plugin for Wordpress here

Yes, you would just need to remove the search code in header.php and replace it with whatever you would like.

You’ll need to use Photoshop to modify the PSD file.
