WP Pro Real Estate 4 Responsive WordPress Theme

HI I ’m thinking of buying this theme I just had a couple of questions:

1) can the search fields be added to/modified? I was thinking of adding things like pets allowed, smoking/non smoking etc 2) i was thinking of using the roles manager plugin to allow agents to upload their own properties, can you forsee any problems with this? 3) is it easy enough to change it to a uk based real estate company?

This is gorgeous. I’ve purchased RE3 , but I can see where this one may work even better for me. Here’s what I have in mind; is it something you can help me make to happen?

- the front page search would tie in to IDXExpress to search for individual MLS listings

- a separate map page/section would tie to featured listings for new home neighborhoods (I work primarily new construction sales), pulling from the wordpress data.

I was about to start loading neighborhoods into RE 3 , but if I can do both neighborhoods (mapped) and listings (search), that would be ideal. Is there any way to do this sort of combined approach?

Is there any already-documented way to link your form (your design) to the IDX , rather than using their widget?

Any plans to add a sort by feature (Price/Taxonomy – Ascending/Descending) to the search results page? Quite essential in my opinion.

Two questions, when I create a new list-property and introduce an image, the image appears in duplicate.

How can you translate the words that appear in the pop-up with the direction of the property?.

I only click the image icon next Upload/Insert, as mentioned in the documentation. I don`t click the “insert into post”

This really is a gorgeous template…how often do you come out with new versions and do you continue to update older versions (ie I noticed you’re on version 4 now)? If I buy this theme I want to know it will be good for years to come as WordPress is updated?

Quick one, how can i make a new blog page then have all of the new posts go to that page, usually when i create a site and use a theme i can just change the static page to blog and direct to my blog page but nothing seems to be working properly when i do that with this theme. it seems there is a simple fix as to where it points to. Please let me know, thank you.

I’m looking to do an all-in-one site for a client that would combine all of the following on to one site, including: - new home building information (would need to upload floorplans, pricing, amenities information) - buying/selling real estate (MLS listings using IDX PlugIn for Wordpress - rental listings (separately entered on WordPress Admin)

I’m wondering if your theme would be able to handle all of this – and be able to enter the different property types (new homes with floorplans, import from RMLS , rentals) and such?

Do you have any clients who’ve done similar things with your themes or have examples?

You will see that the featured listings on the homepage will not work? We created a category called featured andthe listing was marked as featured, yet the featured section will not activate?

We are considering buying this theme and our programmers are curious about integration. How much customization is required to make the IDX plugin work? Also, for featured properties (for the homepage) or which listings are showing (e.g. this weekend), does the user have to touch every such listing – after it pulls from the MLS database – or enter each featured listing/showing listing by hand?

Also, we can’t read the knowledge base without buying the theme? Is that correct? We’d really like to see the discussion and other people’s issues so we can read how they’re resolved. Possible?

We are going to buy the IDX plugin you note above. My question really is about how to use it. I assume that listings are pulled via the plugin. I just didn’t know how a user THEN marks one of them “featured” for the homepage slideshow or homepage display. In other words, if you use the dsIDX plugin, you don’t enter your listings through the WP admin, right? (If that’s not right, then I need to regroup.)

But you have to tell WP which one is “featured.” I just wanted to know how that works, using the dsIDX plugin, and you’re not entering the listings manually.

1- map features - is it possible to add informations to the map such as schools, averate price per sq mt, ...? - How does a property is displayed on the map if the address is incomplete (only the city is filled in for example)? - How does it show on the map when several flats are for sale in the same building ?

2 – Property listing Is it possible to import a formatted text file or is it one by one ?

Quick question in the Admin in the Real Estate4 options area under the Create a skin tab

I am trying to set the bg image to one of the background images of yours. However, in the Enable Background image below check box selecting any of the images does not render after refreshing my browser. Any ideas?
