Hi,
There are a couple of things i would like to ask:-
1) How do i remove the background image from the header. I want to keep it white. I tried uploading a blank white image. It worked but my menu fonts are white as well.
2) I want to remove the map from the listing search. How do I do that?
3) I want to change Zipcode to Postcode. Is there any way to do it besides using the editor under themes?
Please open a ticket on the support site, http://support.contempographicdesign.com
How do you edit the “Why Choose Us?” widget area? I have placed 3 additional widgets into the 3 column area but the “Why Choose Us?” area stays in place.
Via the translation file, just edit and save over the en_US.po and upload to your server.
http://wp.contempographicdesign.com/wp_real_estate_4/help_documentation/#translationI don’t need to change the language, how does the translation file fix the “Why Choose Us”? area?
You don’t need to change the language to edit the verbiage, just open en_US.po > edit > save and upload.
I found the “Why choose Us” text in the index.php and changed it there.
Now my sliders are supersized no matter what my settings and the featured listing won’t pull any images at all. What do I do
You might have deleted a semi-colon or something while editing the verbiage, you should edit that via en_US.po instead and re-download the original index.php file.

Hi, I’m using this template and itworks really well but I have a problem. My hosting show me a LOG error, about the SQL Syntax:
[26-Oct-2012 20:00:05 UTC ] WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘) WHERE p.post_date < ‘2012-10-24 18:49:22’ AND p.post_type = ‘listings’ AND p.p’ at line 1 for query SELECT p.* FROM wp_posts AS p INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships AS tr ON p.ID = tr.object_id INNER JOIN wp_term_taxonomy tt ON tr.term_taxonomy_id = tt.term_taxonomy_id AND tt.taxonomy = ‘category’ AND tt.term_id IN () WHERE p.post_date < ‘2012-10-24 18:49:22’ AND p.post_type = ‘listings’ AND p.post_status = ‘publish’ AND tt.taxonomy = ‘category’ ORDER BY p.post_date DESC LIMIT 1 made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-includes/template-loader.php’), include(’/themes/realestate-4/single-listings.php’), previous_post_link, adjacent_post_link, get_adjacent_post
Can you help me?
Hi, I tried to change the menu font color but it is still white. I created a child list and added-> nav li a:visited { color: black; } nav li a { color: black; } nav li a:hover { color: red; } What I’m doing wrong?! Thank you!

Hi there, I’m having problems with the “Categories” in the Main menu. I added all the necessary categories to my listings but when I click on the category on the menu it leads to a this link /category/listings/waterfront/ but yet none of my listings appear? Can you help me out?
The listings post type doesn’t support categories, it uses custom taxonomies for that instead.
http://wp.contempographicdesign.com/wp_real_estate_4/help_documentation/#navigationHello. 1) Is it possible to customize / add more fields? 2) Is it possible to embed youtube videos (play with Lightview or similar)?
Hi, Can different brokers login and deal with their own properties?
Yes, it uses the standard WordPress user system. So you can create an unlimited amount of accounts and users/agents can manage their own listings, etc…
If you want more control, I’d recommend using a membership plugin like:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/membership/how do i get the featured listing to show on page as in theme example ? http://empirealty.com/
hi, is it support multilanguage like wmpl?
Yes, the theme fully supports the http://wpml.org plugin
Hi there, very nice theme, really liked it.
I’m interested in buying, but I wanna ask some questions first.
My company uses a software which generats XML files which contains full listings, i wanna know if it’s possible to adapt this framework so I can use the XML file to import listings? If so, is it possible for you and your team to provide support for this adaptation? (customization)
Thank you,
Yes, but that would either require a plugin or some custom coding. If you require assistance with the customizations, I’m currently booked up for the next 6+ months, however I can recommend my colleague Justin Shattuck and his team at Just The Web. They’re well versed in WordPress and they know my themes inside and out — been working with them for years.
work@justtheweb.com or 877-HIRE-JTWi Want to buy this theme, I just have one question: How is the listing search implemented? Does it links with MLS ?
PLease explain
Thanks
Luis
It uses a custom post type for listings, so they’re manually entered through the WordPress admin. However I’ve had many buyers use the http://dsIDXpress.com plugin for IDX /MLS integration.
Seems your previews are offline at the moment. Just thought I would let you know.

Looking at purchasing. Is there any easy way to integrate with a wordpress optimized IDX service, such as Ihomefinder or Diverse Solutions?

11/7/12 — View complete changelog hereHi! I’m interested in purchasing this theme but I have questions about using this to integrate with IDX Broker?
I haven’t personally integrated that exact plugin, but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. I’ve also had many buyers use the http://dsIDXpress.com plugin for IDX /MLS integration.
On the home page of this theme, it shows a search feature where people can search for houses. Does this mean I can use IDX code so people can have access to the MLS listing directly from my website?
I’ve had many buyers use the http://dsIDXpress.com plugin for IDX /MLS integration.
Hello there! I’m thinking of purchasing this but I don’t think I would want to have the search engine on the website for now, is it possible to remove that section altogether?
Thanks.
Yes, you can enable/disable the search via the options panel.
Hi, I tested the theme on the Ipad and the header picture disappear and become a blue background, also it will be possible to implement a nivo slider type instead of a picture?
Thanks
Luis
Those listings don’t have the address information filled out properly. The listing title is reserved for the street address, if you don’t want to use it for that you’ll need to enter lat/long.
That is not the issue. The map as you can see, is not movable, no scrollable, it’s just not working – it’s not a google map as it should be.
Also, why do all other cities display correctly, with the titles listed this way? Only this city search displays with nothing on the map and with no map for each of the properties / listings – so the issue is not with the title.
That is the issue as the API can’t correctly geocode the address with all the other information missing. Have you tried inputting the street address and testing?
