It looks very cool. I like it. Great job

I have purchased the theme and copied it into the wp-content/themes folder on my Mac. I have then gone to the Dashboard on my Wordpress blog account and tried to find the theme in the ‘Manage Themes’ section but with no luck.

Clearly I am doing something wrong – can anyone help?

Is the theme not showing up? Or can you not activate it?

The theme is not showing. Is this because I only have a blog on the WorPres.com account, as I don’t have a hosted account?

Apologies that should have read WordPress.com account

Unfortunately at the moment you’re limited to the Wordpress.com themes, as there’s no way to upload themes with those accounts. You’ll have to purchase a domain, and setup a hosting account and use the theme by downloading WP for free from wordpress.org

Hi Contempoinc,

Is that possible to put the Random Flickr feature at the Home Page aside from being at the sub-pages?

I’d like to put it infront rather than on the sub-pages.

thanks Garzideas

Thank you for your purchase, yes it is…you’ll need to grab the flickr code from includes > widgets.php line 12-16, then you’ll need to replace both php calls with a hard coded number of thumbs to display and your flickr ID

hello i love the style of this theme.. great work

Could you tell me please if it would be easy enough to change the main header photo, remove the search bar, and raise the main menu a bit?

Will adding additional pages and widgets be simple enough too ? (excuse me i’m a noob) ....i’m thinking to have a normal page on the home page and to keep the blog style page for the blog page only. i’m also looking to integrate a discussion forum.

thanks for any help Ronnie

Hi. Thanks, its very easy to change out the header photo by editing the pre-sliced PSD , its also very easy to remove the search bar by just commenting out a block of code out and to move the nav up you would just need to modify the top margin in the CSS .

Yes, its very simple to add more pages by creating them in the Wordpress admin, and widgets as well this can be done in the admin.

thanks a lot for your quick response

i’ve just purchased and uploaded the theme and notice it looking a bit different than it does in the live preview. i.e. it doesn’t have the main menu, and the blog entries seem to start further up into the header.

Could you please tell me how I can get it look similar as it does in the preview because it looks great and I was hoping just to do some small edits to refine it furtehr to my own liking.

You’ll need to go through and add categories, pages and posts, please refer to the included help file section “Getting Started”. Also make sure you open the Theme Customization panel and click save at the bottom.

gotcha okay….. i appreciate that the help file is very clear and well written. Thank you

Really great design, support looks fast and profeesional, looking foward to costumize this template. Now I will have to travel !:)

Great looking site! Nice and clean.

I was wondering, if it I can use Flash/SWF files in WordPress? I am thinking of adding a portfolio page (like the blog page) and in place of an photo I would like to place a SWF movie to show parts of a project.

I hope you can understand what I’m asking – I’m a complete noob and really don’t know my way around WordPress at all.

Thanks, Damon

Oh, forgot another question. Is it easy enough to change the background color and text colors to match the header image? I’m hoping to be able to rotate out the header photos on occasion.

Thanks again, Damon

It is possible to embed flash into posts with the use of a plugin, take a look at this one

The background image is very easy to swap out by editing the pre-sliced PSD , and body bg and text colors changes can be done by editing the stylesheet.
