Question: Can the backgrounds be changed very easily? (The top wood to another background or color, footer colors, menu colors, main background…)

The background images is made up of 4 types of tiles, and changing that would mean just dropping in some of your own.
There is a ribbon and a button psd included that you can change by changing the base color of the ribbon or button and a gradient.
The complimentary color can be changed by changing a color value on one of the color css files.

Great theme!!! It’s about time some great church themes are getting released. There is a HUGE market for this!!! Churches need great sites on great and flexible platforms like WordPress. If I knew how to build themes – this would be the market I target! Great work!!!!

Only a few questions: - are translation ready? - is possible to add a “point center” with the curent location to the map? - the Scripture Tool (ESV) work also in other languages? - is possible to have the “driving directions” in other languages?

The esv is an English translation, there is however another option available that can be incorporated that is available in other languages.
Google maps internationalization is as easy as adding an extra tag to the maps.
Most of the “big” terms is translatable from the admin panel. There are a few terms that will have to be translated by changing it in the theme files.

Hello, I apologize for my ignorance on the subject, but I purchased this theme and I do not know how to install it on Wordpress.
I have tried to upload the zip file, but it keeps giving me failure notices or “incompatible archive” messages.
There must be something I’m missing. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated, even if it is just pointing me in the direction of a tutorial or something. I am very new to WordPress and installing outside themes.

I love the theme just having an issue with the calendar feature…Im posting dates and times following instructions but they are not showing up under calendar page or on the widget on index page.
but when im creating the post and hit the view post button i can see them, but not when i hit calendar from menu…

Hi Net-Labs Great template. A few questions though: Do I need a software to open and edit your template? Where do I manage things like the calendar? Does it have CMS capability? The Bible Verses scripts, does it have a source code? Can I change the form email? Can I upload it to a domain of my choice?

You would need a basic understanding of php, html, and css to change the basic design of the template. Nothing is needed however if you wish to just “move in”.
Where do I manage things like the calendar?
All the components comes with a management panel in the admin area.
Does it have CMS capability?
This is a fully functional WordPress build and have to my mind the best and easiest management available courtesy of the wizards at WordPress.
The Bible Verses scripts, does it have a source code?
The Bible Verses are imported from the ESV site on a use as you need basis and is saved in the database. All according to their specifications and with their blessing.
Can I change the form email?
You can use the email provided or add your own with a plugin.
Can I upload it to a domain of my choice?
You can upload the site to a domain of your choice provided that it fits the WordPress requirements

The heading of the term is “special terms” and is in fact the first terms that you can change.

I have a quick question on audio setup. (1) How do i get the audio icon to display on the homepage (In the latest message section). I’ve attempted to attach an audio file to a message post but can’t get it to display (2) Are you using a separate plugin to play audio?

Hey Net-Labs! Awesome theme. Is there anyway to show posted calendar events on the front page that are further that 30 days out?
It seems like that is a limitation. If it is, can you explain how to “hack” the “Our next event in” function?

The upcoming events can be set to show any number of events. It doesn’t have to be a set number of events.

I understand that there can be an unlimited number of events. But it looks like the front page will only show a countdown for an event that is less than 30 days away. I want it to countdown an event that is in October. Is this possible?

Sorry, I did not completely understand your question. When working with recurring events you need to set a break point otherwise the script will look for events forever and will not stop.
I have set the break point at 5 months for now. you can send me a mail and i’ll show you where to increase the breakpoint to something like 12 or 24 months to fix your requirements.

I did not add a full width custom template for the theme, but the contacts page needs only a few lines deleted to turn it into a full width template.
