I am getting an “ERROR: 403….Username and/or API Key invalid” when i use the same username and password to get on envato.
Under Appearance -> Wrings Upgrades !
You will need your Username (the one you used to buy Wrings) and a Secret Api Key(that you can generate on Themeforest.net under Profile-> My Settings-> API Keys once you logged in)
Upgrade complete.
Are there other steps to complete?
I still have the issue of the hover shortcode not working and the icons are still not appearing when IE browser is used.

Hi … I am interested in this template. If we want ecommerce or buddypress is that possible to hook up?
It’s possible to hook up and we tested compatibility with WooCommerce and other major vendors. Just keep in mind that styling is not yet included in Wrings, that means that the CSS modeling it’s up to te purchaser at the moment.

The header sticky bar disappears when there’s no widgets in it…
Plus, we notice that the logo is 368px, consequently, will cause the menu to move down and will look ugly. Basically, the solutions could be:
- resize the logo until both menu and logo image fit on same row.
- shrink the menu voices.
Finally, To see again the sticky bar you could create the sidebars(under appearance/sidebars) for the header sticky bar( to have 4 columns you need to create 4 sidebars) and fill at least one sidebar with a widget!.

Hi. Tks for the purchase. The sticky bar gets the same font size, color, and links color as the footer. Is a dynamic widget area, so you can create widget areas inside and add as many widgets as you like.
To delete or disable the + & – from the portfolio we will have to change a few lines of code. Send us your link, user and pass via mail: info@2mediax.com and we will do it for you

- Look for HEADER/FOOTER FONT SIZE & WEIGHT
- 13px for size and 100 or 200 for weight is usually good

We did test on our websites and by following the same steps we gave you we obtain size and weight changing…
obviously, there’s always the css file to achieve this, but it’s not a good choice because we give free upgrades that allows you to have many more options and new stuff, but might change any customization you do on the css files directly.

Well, we checked on IE8 and without responsive layout it will display well, nevertheless, the overlays, layers and some shortcodes that use css3 will not work correctly…..
Since IE8 lacks of css3 capabilities and considering that this theme priority is responsivness we decided so far to avoid IE8 compatibility.

When I click on the title on a accordion shortcode then it opens the text behind it but automatically closes it after just a second. The same problem I have on your demo template. I thought the browser is the problem and I tested it on chrome but it doesn’t work either. Please help!

you can upgrade for free using wrings upgrades under Appearance
i went to appearences > wrings upgrades and inserted my api I generated from my account and it says: There are no upgrades available at this time….
You are correct!... well, we will send an email to themeforest support and let them know!.
still, you can login on themeforest and download the Wrings theme(just download it again as it should be already updated by themeforest)
once downloaded you can unzip it and after disabling and deleting the actual wrings theme on your wordpress, load and activate this new one… Dont worry, you wont loose any post nor previous configuration!.. (nevertheless you will, maybe, need to configure the further improvments and features we put on the new version!.)

Should work now, at least with 3.5.1 of wordpress, still, downloading from themeforest will give you the same result!
on Google Chrome cache must be deleted to be sure to have latest styles and scripts!... press ctrl+h to clean cache..

on wordpress 3.5.1 updating directly from Appearance->Wrings Upgrades works well!...
On wordpress version 3.4.2 apparently says there’s no new version available!.
Nevertheless,
We suggest to download the new 2.0 upgrade from themeforest and follow this steps:
- download Wrings theme from themeforest (just download since it’s already the new version even if it doesn’t say so).
- Delete actual wrings loaded on your wordpress(no worries, you wont loose any previous configured option!)
- upload new Wrings and activate it!

Hi, I would like to add some categories under Portfolio menu. I can create category but I couldn’t add any new portfolio page(project) under this new categories. Please kindly help what I need to do to make it work. Also I would like to know I can delete the date from the post.
wordpress limits one unique slug per category. meaning you can add subcategories under the portfolio category, but they will work as normal categories.
Does it mean I can’t upload new portfolio page(project) to category under portfolio? If yes, how can I delete the date from Post page? Is there anyway to delete them? We need to upload the product image but I don’t know what is the best way. To use portfolio, we have many categories of items and couldn’t upload it to subcategories of portfolio. Instead, I can use post but it shows the date on the page. Please kindly advise me if I can delete the date from the post page.
When I see original template menu, portfolio menu also has subcategories and each subcategories (one column..) has portfolio project.. How does it work? Since we need to update product image, we need around 10 different categories for portfolio menu. If it is not workable, I wonder if we can delete the date on the post page. If I can delete them, I may use post page for our product image upload. Please kindly advise~

Anyway, you can have subcategories under portfolio… in fact, the solution for what you are trying to achieve is simple:
- Create all the sub categories under the Parent Category that has “portfolio” as slug.
- Create all the projects using Portfolio/Projects and set the category/ies respectively
- finally, create pages with Blank Template and use columns posts shortcodes to filter between each category:
[threecolumnsbis posttype="project" filtertypevalue="34"][/threecolumnsbis]Where posttype relates to custom type and filtertypevalue is the Category ID.(you can add more ids by using filtertypevalue=”34,35,46,56”)

Ajax functionalities and CSS3 doesn’t allow us to maintain a correct compatibility with IE versions prior to 9.
When I try to delete some images from the gallery portfolio, it doesn’t work and I get an “Are you sure you want to this?” error message.

Nobody ever complained about it….and we make sure shortcodes works correctly cause Wrings Preview is build with shortcodes!.
Have you tried the Visual shortcode manager?? All the possibilities and combinations are visually configurable and very user friendly!.
Be sure that no other third party plugin is causing troubles with styling

Regarding a more detailed manual, is not possible, because the manual is detailed, the visual shortcode manager and the visual builder are 3 different possibilites to please 3 different kind of clients.
