Hi, I have just purchased the theme but I am unable to find the required portfolio plugins for the theme … I noticed someone else had the same issue and you sent them to the support forum on onioneye … however that seems to be down at the moment. Can you point me towards the plugins anyone?
thank you for purchasing the theme! Appreciate it.
As far as your issue goes, you first need to update your WordPress, if you are running an outdated WP version. Once that is done, you should be getting a message near the top of the screen of your admin window, where there is a link to install and activate all the required plugins, that come packed with the theme.
Sorry about the forum, by the way. It’s fully up now, so should you have any further questions, please open a ticket there, instead of posting here. Thank you!
Just a few pre-purchase questions.
1. Is is possible to show all the content from a blog post, so that you won’t have to press “read the rest”? And furthermore have more than just one image in each blog post?
2. Can I change the font used in the top menu (Home, Blog, Patterns etc.) to the one being used for the portfolio categories (All, Illustration, Logo).
3. If you chose to “read the rest” on a blog post, is it possible to have the image shown within the post as well?
thank you for taking an interest in the Yin & Yang theme!
To answer your questions:
1) Yes, the theme offers this option, so no worries about it.
2) One line of custom CSS code should be enough to do that.
3) The theme will display the featured image, but all images put directly in the content will be filtered out by WordPress, which is how a WP excerpt works. So the short answer is no, any other images will not be visible in the excerpt.
Hope this helps. Have fun working with the theme, if you end up buying it!
Thank you for your reply.
Just to be sure with you answer to nr.3 – If I do not use featured image in my post but add images from the media library with “add media” will these be shown when I click “read the rest”?
sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems that I misunderstood your question initially. All the images put in the content via the Add Media button will definitely be shown, but to have the featured image in there as well, you would have to customize the blog template. It’s a simple customization though, that shouldn’t not take you more than 5-10 minutes to complete.
Just bought your theme, great one!
How do i change the section name “Portfolio” for something else, like “works” for example?

do you have a html template for this
thanks for taking an interest in the theme!
Unfortunately, I only work with WordPress, so I don’t have an HTML template for Yin & Yang.
Hello, please is it possible to include a search field in the template?
yes, you can include the search field in one of the widget areas, under the Appearance -> Widgets tab of your WordPress admin panel.
For any further questions about the theme, please open a ticket at https://onioneye.ticksy.com/, which is OnionEye’s official support forum.
I do not have the portfolio menu in my tools.
Hello, I put a ticket there, but at this time, I do not have any reply, and I have searched for any kind of solution to my issue and nothing too. I need some help. I used the theme a long time and it worked very well, but today this problem is stressing me.
Please check again. A reply with instructions should be there.

I’m looking into purchasing your Yin & Yang theme and wondering if:
1) You have any plans to update this theme soon?
2) Specifically, responsive to mobile devices?
thank you for taking an interest in the theme!
1) Yes, I am currently working on a big update (3.0), which is going to be released in the following few months.
2) Yes, for sure. Full responsiveness and retina compatibility, along with many other improvements, will be coming soon to Yin & Yang.
Have fun working with the theme, if you end up buying it!
is this available in html template?
Hi OnionEye Team,

Sorry for my bad english^^
I got the wp Theme Yin & Yank and I installed all the portfolio plugins. But I can`t find the portfolio on my homepage ? Please help me. !!!
Any plans to make this theme responsive soon?
Yes, most certainly!
I am currently working on a big update (3.0), which is going to have full responsiveness and retina compatibility, along with many other improvements.
The 3.0 version is going to be released sometime in the end of August, or beginning of September latest, so make sure you stay tuned.
Any news on 3.0?
I already have your theme but really need a responsive version
The 3.0 responsive version is definitely coming. It’s the biggest update I ever made on any one of my themes, so there’s still a lot of work to be done, but I anticipate it will be rolled out sometime in September.
When I post images, they will show up in color right?
Yes, that is correct; the images will show up in color.
Hi there; is it possible to turn off the portfolio filters completely? I don’t need different categories, and I want to be sure if I don’t use categories, the filtering won’t show at all.
thank you for your interest in the theme!
No worries about the portfolio categories. If you don’t use them, the filtering will not show on your website.
Have fun working with Yin & Yang, if you end up buying it!
