Hi, I have just purchased the theme but I am unable to find the required portfolio plugins for the theme … I noticed someone else had the same issue and you sent them to the support forum on onioneye … however that seems to be down at the moment. Can you point me towards the plugins anyone?

Hi there,

thank you for purchasing the theme! Appreciate it. :)

As far as your issue goes, you first need to update your WordPress, if you are running an outdated WP version. Once that is done, you should be getting a message near the top of the screen of your admin window, where there is a link to install and activate all the required plugins, that come packed with the theme.

Sorry about the forum, by the way. It’s fully up now, so should you have any further questions, please open a ticket there, instead of posting here. Thank you!

Sincerely,

OnionEye

Hi, Just a few pre-purchase questions.

1. Is is possible to show all the content from a blog post, so that you won’t have to press “read the rest”? And furthermore have more than just one image in each blog post?

2. Can I change the font used in the top menu (Home, Blog, Patterns etc.) to the one being used for the portfolio categories (All, Illustration, Logo).

3. If you chose to “read the rest” on a blog post, is it possible to have the image shown within the post as well?

Thanks!

Hi there,

thank you for taking an interest in the Yin & Yang theme!

To answer your questions:

1) Yes, the theme offers this option, so no worries about it.

2) One line of custom CSS code should be enough to do that.

3) The theme will display the featured image, but all images put directly in the content will be filtered out by WordPress, which is how a WP excerpt works. So the short answer is no, any other images will not be visible in the excerpt.

Hope this helps. Have fun working with the theme, if you end up buying it! :)

Thank you for your reply. Just to be sure with you answer to nr.3 – If I do not use featured image in my post but add images from the media library with “add media” will these be shown when I click “read the rest”?

Thanks, Sanne

Hi Sanne,

sorry for the inconvenience, but it seems that I misunderstood your question initially. All the images put in the content via the Add Media button will definitely be shown, but to have the featured image in there as well, you would have to customize the blog template. It’s a simple customization though, that shouldn’t not take you more than 5-10 minutes to complete.

do you have a html template for this

onioneye

Hey there,

thanks for taking an interest in the theme! :)

Unfortunately, I only work with WordPress, so I don’t have an HTML template for Yin & Yang.
