Hello,

I want to buy the theme, but before I do that I want to know if its possible to have an horizontal scrollbar in a portfolio item (something like this qubyphotography.com). I want to place my photography in it and let it scroll horizontal instead of vertical, with a fixed height.

I’m afraid that Yin & Yang is not a horizontal scrolling theme, so if this feature is very important to you, I suggest you look up some other themes, which are specifically built for horizontal scrolling.

I had problems with filterable portfolio for my website ( http://sms-invest.com/index_wp.php/ ) and I fixed it with updating quicksand.js and adding some little modifications to it, to fix an safari bug. If anyone else experiences these issues ( portfolio thumbnails cut out ) you can download my file from http://cloud.bassta.bg/onioneye/jquery.quicksand.js and replace your jquery.quicksand.js file located in js folder with my one.

As far as your question goes, you can show the items in a random order by modifying only one line of code in the portfolio page template. You can also used the reordering plugin recommended by the theme to quickly change the order of your items via drag & drop.

Hi! I need to rename the terms categories, client, date into Spanish: categorias, cliente, fecha…Where can I find those terms to change it manually? As I see, no .mo and .po files are included in the theme.

Hi there,

my themes are unfortunately not built with woocommerce in mind, so I’m afraid that the answer to your question would be no. The woocommerce plugin should still work perfectly fine though, but the styling would have to be adjusted to fit Yin & Yang. Therefore, my recommendation is to go for an e-commerce theme instead.

Hi, thank you for your theme. it ’s a very good and easy theme. Can you tell me how I can have a Home page with no portfolio images showed by default. Today, the default is “all” but I would like no image by default. Only the category choice. And only once we clicked on category, the images are shown.

Hello,

I use an old version of the theme and I am not ready to update. (V 1.1.1)

In the portfolio, the first image never display. But when I go to image #2, I see the image. And if I go back to the first image, I see it now…

Hi – I see that in your other theme ‘PEAK’ ...you can have images stack on top of each in a page.. can you do that in this theme ‘Yin & Yang” theme also?

I don’t see an example of it in this demo…

yes, you can certainly have an “image stack” in the Yin & Yang theme as well, by embedding your images in the content editor (large textarea).
