I love this theme and am very happy with it. A friend has said that it resists font size changes however, when viewed on her iPad. I thought the theme was supposed to be responsive? Is there something I’m supposed to do to enable this?

I’ve also noticed that the theme doesn’t render correctly in IE8 or IE9. My Twitter widget doesn’t work… and neither does the front page slider. What’s really awful is that my title/logo is rendered as Comic Sans in IE8! :/

I’ve checked demo in IE8. Both slider and twitter widgets are working great. I’ve added twiiter widget in demo too. You can also check the demo again. Also is JavaScript enabled on IE.
Regarding font i’m working on it for a fix. Mean-while i suggest to use an image for logo which will be same everywhere.

Did you have any luck results checking the responsiveness on an iPad?
Actually i don’t have an Ipad, i myself have checked using online screenshot website. Through online website one can only get an idea of layout alignment and nothing else.
OK, I think we’re getting our wires crossed a little. There were two issues:
1) A friend has said that the theme font size changes when viewed on her iPad. I thought the theme was supposed to be responsive? Is there something I’m supposed to do to enable this?
2) The IE8/9 issue. You say that you used an online site to check the theme? Can you tell me which one(s) you used? The ones I’ve tried show problems… i.e. the Twitter widget and sliver not appearing.
Regarding font size changes, i’ll test it on Ipad of my friend.
Also i’m using Adobe’s Browser lab https://browserlab.adobe.com/en-us/index.htmlAlso i don’t recommend testing twitter widgets through screenshots, you should personally check the widget

You need save theme’s option panel one time, then errors will vanish.

Sorry for the delayed response. Been busy in launch and wanted to give the popular posts time to adjust. The Popular Posts widget is still not updating. It actually only updates the bottom two out of the 4 and the top two have been there for a month.

Popular posts are based upon comment count. Are you sure the two on the top have lesser number of comments then the bottom two
ahhh, I didn’t know it was comment count. I thought it was based off of views or something. That makes sense now. Is there anyway to change that or will it take some pretty heavy coding?

Odd. I’m actually noticing more now that the posts that are showing up aren’t even the ones with the most comments. The top two are staying the same and the bottom two are always changing despite even some having no comments. Any ideas?
I think that’s happening because of Facebook comments, may be WordPress is not considering comments through Facebook. Might be because of Facebook comments are external and are not integrated directly with WordPress
I would be very interested in this theme if it was three columns to make more room for advertising. Is it possible to set up three columns in the settings?

I am experiencing some issues with the slider. If I have my browser (Chrome) not fully maximized on my screen, everything works great. But when I adjust the viewport slightly (fully maximizing the browser), whenever the slider transitions to the next slide, all the articles below the slideshow shift a pixel or two to the left then back again. I have started to make some changes in the template, but the only major one was probably changing the page width to accommodate a 300px wide sidebar. Any thoughts?
regarding slider its not a problem. Any of your visitor won’t resize their browser when viewing the website. On first load the slider will work fine for them.
Resizing the browser is just to check the responsiveness. Also can you show your website. I’ll tell the sidebar fix accordingly

my girlfriend has purchased this Themes for me yesterday as a Gift
I really love it, but i have one problem. The Navigation and all other Headlines are not visible as Bold Text.
I uploaded all Files included the Novecento Fonts, but the Headlines and Navigation is still not diplayed in Bold. But when i watch your Preview on Themeforest than the Text is in Bold.
I use Wordpress Version 3.5.1
I think the only thing that i have to do is to upload all your Files in the Theme Directory and activate it. And thats what i did, so i dont know what i can do wrong.
Can you tell me what i have done wrong, or what i have to do to add the Bold Headline and Navigation?

I’m having a trouble. My Home can not display the slide, although I have to follow the instructions (I even tried the other tag, such as the tag cafe).
Previously, when using the old version ( wp 3.4.2 + old theme), it still works normally.
Now, i’m using wp 3.5.1 + Zen 3.5.

Do one thing if that doesn’t work i’ll fix it myself. In the image, below the enable option there’s field named “Enter slider tag”.
Enter “slider-home” without inverted commas in that field and save. Tell if it works

I just have one question.
How to display Custom Post Type on Homepage, especially on Post Section (section category). I’ve modify some code for Related Posts, Archive, etc, to display Custom Post Type, and its work. But for Post Section (on homepage) it doesn’t work.

I’m interested in buying your theme, but when I look at page http://themeforest.net/item/zend-responsive-blogmagazine-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/3139105 in IE10, down at the comments section the words reply are outside the page on the far left of my screen (outside the white page area) – are you planning on fixing this for IE10?
Lastly, does the theme allow me to change the background to a solid colour of my choice?

I’m creating a website based on your great theme (test adress is http://www.helougraphics.ch/artofvfx/) which was bought by the client.
Anyway, I’m trying to set a background picture that would be randomly picked up from a specific folder. Is there a way I can implement this easily through back-end ? Like defining a CSS that would overwrite whatever script is currently used that allow us to manually change the background ?

Showing background randomly from any folder can only be don either through php or javascript. Its not possible in CSS directly

There seems to be a pretty big pagination issue with this theme once you start to get a lot of pages. My blog is still under development but the same thing is happening on a page you are linking to on your theme here on TF. http://brianleetest.com/category/jeanies-blog/page/30/

No this is not a problem. There are option in pagination plugin which help you configure the way pagination is shown. Have you seen those and played around???
Okay, that is true. If you leave the defaults you will end up with a pagination that looks like that. I have found a fix for those that do not want the ‘First’ button to be way on the right. Put this at the end of your style.css file; .wp-pagenavi a.page{float:none;} .wp-pagenavi span.current {float:none;} .pagination {text-align:left;}

I don’t recommend that feature and its really complicated to add that feature for all your sections.
Regarding top main slider you can make it constant by removing the text and making all the images same height.

in your preview images the Video in the footer is over 2 footer columns. But when i add a video and make the size bigger than 1 column it automatically goes to the column size back. so in other words, i cant make the image wider than 218px. I checked your documentation, but i found no answer to my question. Can you please tell me how i can embed a video in the footer that is wider than 218px or 1 footer colum?

I would like that when I publish a new post in the slider, if the limit of the maximum of post in the slider (let’s say 3) is reached, then the oldest post in the slider is automatically removed from the slider, so that the total number of slide in the slider is always equal to 3, even if I don’t untag a post.
To say it even clearlier, I want the slider to show only the 3 last published post.
Currently the number you’re saying 3 above is actually 6 in the template. So its already fixed in the template to display 6 posts in slider which you can change as you like.
And the code that i’ve written to check if any post is being repeated only works for those 6 posts which are currently in the slider.
So if you have tagged any post to be shown in slider and its not in those 6 posts that are being shown currently in the slider then that post will be shown in other sections.

I want the h2 title works all around the pages, this way it will read in my language. Right now it only work for the single page title. Sidebar and front page it doesn’t work yet.
