to arrange the widget you can go to > appearance > widget drag an drop any widget you want into the sidebar column.

all new widget you put in the sidebar will be shown under “Pages” widget. i built it that way. if you wants to edit the structure you can open “sidebar.php” and you will find the default structure for widgets. it’s all named, so you can easily edit the structure.

example:

zenith has 1 built in widget field on the sidebar only. but you can drag and drop to show unlimited widget items on the sidebar. for example : you can put archive, calendar, links, categories, recent posts, tags and other widget.. (no limits)

every new widget you put on the sidebar will be shown under “pages” widget. i built it that way to keep the sidebar match with the design.

and About SEO user friendly. i always create themes that SEO user friendly i keep it as light as possible and no bulky code for each div. the divs have neat structure and the code has been optimized.

if you still wants to edit the code it self that would be very easy. all div inside this theme is named ( i give label) before and after divs

or you can install the SEO optimized plugin. there’s a lot of choice out there everything is easy with zenith

about the light box problems, looks like light box doesn’t compatible with Zenith

i read about that plugin and try it on my server and yes, there’s problem if i use light box. i found the answer, Light box doesn’t fit for theme that having a lot built in jquery inside, especially Jcarousel, FCG and others jquery image slideshow. some of j query plugin not compatible with light box

I suggest not using light box plugin with Zenith Theme.

and second problem, about featured posts that not properly linked to spesific category.

the featured posts is linked to spesific posts not specific categories. it will only show some posts from specific category you that choose from admin panel.

Other possibilities maybe you changed the category slug, leave the category slug as default. (read the FAQ )

and last possibilities is maybe you assign same posts on two categories. it will still show the old one if you choose between those two categories only

Hi Stu.. i found the solution for light box problem if you still want to use the light box, do not use any wp light box plugin, but use built in light box script. you can get it from here :

follow the instruction, and you need small modification on on each custom field

after that put the function to call the light box js, not in the header section but put it on the files that contain image you want to show with light box when you clicked it ex: post-top.php, category.php etc

please try to deactivate all your plugin before installing theme, and see if that works. also what wp version you use with the theme? try to install the theme with fresh WP instalation.

Hi there.. have you do other changes with Zenith php files? i do test with wp 3.0 RC and everything works fine.. no error displayed at all.

if you want to get your money back,you need to contact themeforest.net, not me and i am really sorry i can’t give you support if you don’t show me the url. it’s working fine on my demo site. and no one having same error like you do after purchasing zenith.

Before selling the theme, i test with : wordpress 2.8, 2.9, 3.0 RC, and today i tested with 3.0 RC3 . and no errors showing.

if i see the error code you show that comes from the twitter section on the sidebar. i will give you another guide, delete the twitter on the sidebar.php

Hi nonejones yes, it’s magazine theme. and each posts need to have an image. if you don’t have any image to display on your post, it will displayed default images “thumbnail not available” it’s automatic, i built it that way and i believe magazine theme is more attractive if you have an image on your posts. Thank you

Hi kopfhoerer… Thank you for purchasing Zenith, i am really Sorry for this inconvenience. the problems was not from the wordpress, but i found small bugs on the featured posts, and will fixed the bugs immediately. the bugs is on function.php on the featured posts section. will fixed the bugs and you can re download Zenith.
